Welcome to our new Virtual airline "Virtual Caledonian". Our Virtual Airline has been formed as a tribute to the former real world airlines, “British Caledonian†and “Caledonianâ€. Our hubs are at Glasgow and Heathrow with a “sub†hub service available from Stansted. Our route structure is mainly European, however, expansion is on the horizon. Our fleet consists of 2x757-200W, 4x757-300s and 8x737-700s, 1x737-800 and 2x747-400s. Hello everybody. We have tried to make a VA based on Joomla and PHPVMS. During the last month or so, we have worked on Virtual Cimber. Virtual Cimber is based on the real airline Cimber Sterling that have there base in Sonderborg, Denmark (very small town). In the past it was a very small local airline only with flight`s from Sonderborg (EKSB) to Copenhagen (EKCH) and used the ATR42. Today it has grown to an Airline with 46 destinations, and a fleet with. ATR42, ATR72, CRJ200 and B737-700. The fleet is very exciting, because it is jet`s and propeller airplanes. I have just opened Virtual KIND for a "soft opening" of sorts. I think things are pretty well complete, but I want some folks to start flying so I can finish off the rough edges and give my pilots the kind of experience they want. Virtual KIND is a project that is more about an airport than an airline. I recently decided to use Joomla for my web site and integrate PHPVMS into it. There is no bridge that I'm aware of, so I just did it manually; accomplished the task in about four hours. Check it out if you like...the Pilot Center is in the registered members area, and I access the admin for phpvms totally separate from the Joomla, but you can see a lot of phpvms pages I've made public. I use the Joomla login rather than the phpvms login.
