I am using the paid version of kAcars for my va. I am using this for over a year. I am having a rather odd issue. Whenever I am running kAcars on the same pc as I run FSX, I see a rather big drop in FPS. It drops from about 30fps to 20fps. I have tried to solve the issue by running the program on an extra pc. There I see about the same drop. 8-9 fps, as soon as I attach kAcars to FSX. As Rex is eating another 10fps, you guess that I am flying around 12 fps at fast. Is this a common problem, that kAcars eat so many fps? It is to me not doing any graphical stuff. Yes it is collecting data, but so much?

Jeffrey, Is it normal for when you log into Acars, and the Web Browser on it automatically shows the website, it shows a pilot online 2-3 times? Could this be fixed, or can you just make me a customized one without the Web Browser?

Can someone please have a look at http://www.vcal.org.uk and tell me what I am missing? Currents versions of Kacars and the module. Had a look around and nothing is working. Uploaded module twice now and installed the client twice. Help. Thanks.

I have the free vis of kAcars I try everything I know I try to do what other poeple said on the forums to try to fix but it is still not working I have the flights # check off in my user setting as shown When i get my Get flight Bit Info it is saying this and i do have the flight already bid in my web site and it is not finding it pleae help

Can anyone tell me what to do here. I am setting up my custom kacars. I am a beginner at this. thanks A new table must be created to allow the chat to work. The table needs to be named with the same table prefix as all other phpvms tables. If the standard tableprefix was used (phpvms_) then the table needs to be named phpvms_acarschat. If the table prefix is different than name accordingly.

ok, one of my pilots has an issue. For some odd reason, whenever he files a pirep, it arrives on the system with numbers in the airfield fields instead of names? It only happens with him, and no one else. He has re-installed Kacars, and assured me everything his end looks ok, but i asm awaiting a screenshot to prove it as you can see from this log it has number where the airfield names should be.? any ideas why this happens?

Hey lorathon, I remember a post you made while ago about a VA that is using kACARS with their own package, anyway. You said that we need to link kACARs download to your site or can we upload the orginal kACARS to the own site? Please clear that up.... Which one is okay?

Hello, We have been experiencing a problem with our new Custom kACARS system. When one of our pilots finish a flight they will still be on our live flight maps and such and just marked as arrived. The only that i know how to fix it is to go into phpmyadmin and delete the pilot that is marked as arrived in the database acars_data. The reason we can not use the script built into the admin center is because we usually have more than one flight in the air at a time, so we cant clear all the data. thanks, any help will be greatly appreciated.

For some reason kAcars stopped to work, all worked fine until 22.12.13. but now, i didnt work nothin on site regarding some changes, and still it doesnt work, hmm...was working fne all year...someone? thank you www.croatiacargo.com

I found one very small limitation of kACARS which is kACARS only saves one configuration mean if you have two airlines with different phpVMS installation like I have since don't want to mess up statistics of civil VA with my Military VA you have to Alter configuration every time you fly for one so here just an idea if possible: something like a dropdown to choose from Airline configs for Pilots flying in multiple Virtual Airlines different phpVMS Installs kACARS is still the best ACARS for VA's Best Regards Thomas

Hello Yesterday I made the last flight using the K-acars, I have not moved anything of configuration and today simply "does not work", if we add to this the problem of the re-captcha system, something is Going through phpvms? Is the best system I have managed but apparently there is not much to do on my part. I appreciate any help because I am a beginner.

I used a custom Kacars, and it works great. but I wondered if this was possible to code in? as the fleet get's used, and aircraft land at an airport, is it possible to only show, in the aircraft list in Acars, aircraft that are at the airport that the current bid is starting from? I ask, as I have pilots who just pick random aircraft, and fly them, aircraft which were not actually located where they started the flight Not sure if it is possible, but if it could, it would be great

Hey everyone, after putting to kacars_free.php into the FTP, I tried opening kacars free and was successful. but once I tried to connect to my site to do a test flight I got an error. The error was, Notify System Administrator of the Switch error. Data not recived Switch = verify Can someone please help me out. Thanks

Hi All, I've just been looking at the Pireps of our pilots flights since switching to kACARS. I've noticed that the Pilot pay only ever shows £12 income, which is the hourly rate. Yet, the flights that are more than an hour i.e. 2+ still only show £12. However, the flights under an hour seem to be giving the right pilot pay. Does anyone know if kACARS has any effect on what happens with the pilot pay calculation? i.e. is it the information from the logged number of hours flown that is then used to calculate the pilot pay? Any help would be gratefully recevied as our pilots are only ever getting an hours pay maximum. Just trying to work out if its an issue with phpvms…
