As a virtual pilot and as a va flight validator i would like to know if it is possible for kAcars to send the flight with the aircraft flown and not with the aircraft which is selected on the database.

I just wanted to say publicly that I purchased the custom version of this and I like the functionality and ease of use. Jeff is always quick to reply if there are any issues. If you're thinking of purchasing this program, it will be money well spent. Thanks Jeff you do a great job.

Hello, i know that i must contact directly Jeff but now i can't do it, So, i've got this error (sorry it's in italian language) **See the attached image** Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attemp to continue. If you click Quit the application will close immediatelly. Acces to the file C:\Program Files\FS Products\BlueACARS\send.xml is negated. How can i resolve it? Thank you so much !

I am currently using kAcars Free v1.0.0.9 and I had to reinstall my entire system (PC). I installed kAcars Free 1.0.0.9 and noticed the following: I can create VA Profiles in the Options | VA Profiles menu dialog. There I see two listed, Template and my own VA entry. When I chose mine I see the Base URL, Pilot ID and Password on the dialog, so far so good. The problem is if I click on the X button it exits which is understandable. However, if I click on the button that has the floppy icon "Save Edited Profile" rather than exiting the dialog and set the Main controls to the chosen profile, it simply leaves the VA dropdown to the VA I chose but clears out the Base URL, Pi…

I am a bit confused. In my VA I am using currently the 1.0.0.9 version. However, when I visit the FS Products website it says the latest kAcars Free version is 1.0.1.6 thus newer than mine. However, when I chose the Download link of the FS Products site it brings me to the download page of phpVMS and there it downloads version 1.0.1.1 instead. So, which one is really the last version?

Hi I am having a slight problem when i add my details into va profiles under options i click the disk icon and all my details vanish except the newly named template that i created and the settings windows doesnt dissappear so i have no choice but to click the cancel/exit icon. Then when i try to log in it keeps saying not logged in. I have even had the CEO of my va looking at my pc through Teamviewer for over an hour but he cant figured it out either. Any ideas as to why it wont let me long in? Using W7 64bit and running as admin Regards Martin

ok, one of my pilots has an issue. For some odd reason, whenever he files a pirep, it arrives on the system with numbers in the airfield fields instead of names? It only happens with him, and no one else. He has re-installed Kacars, and assured me everything his end looks ok, but i asm awaiting a screenshot to prove it as you can see from this log it has number where the airfield names should be.? any ideas why this happens?

I used a custom Kacars, and it works great. but I wondered if this was possible to code in? as the fleet get's used, and aircraft land at an airport, is it possible to only show, in the aircraft list in Acars, aircraft that are at the airport that the current bid is starting from? I ask, as I have pilots who just pick random aircraft, and fly them, aircraft which were not actually located where they started the flight Not sure if it is possible, but if it could, it would be great

Hi all, I have been helping a friend set up Kacars free. He is not PHPvms nor is he free hosting. I put the module in the directory and filled out the relevant info but cannot connect at all. Does it have to be a PHPvms websit. I have looke arround the forum but cant find anything. The web address is www.jet2virtual.com Any suggestions. I have also put in a php.ini file but it goes ove rmy head. THanks in advance

OK guys, maybe i have found an kAcars error... or not... i dunno. problem is this: I have got one airline that works like a charm. landing rate ok, finances are ok... no issue at all. Now. I have added a second airline (cargo division). I select a new flight that i created for this airline.. i fly it using kAcard (custom !) and when i finish the flight, the landing rate is shown but the finances are at ZERO. I did select the cargo capacity of the airplane when adding it. i also selected "cargo" flight for this specific route. Does anyone know about this or can help me solve this issue? Thanks Lucas

When I first got kacars with the new custom stuff I loved it, still do today, it's really nice to not have to worry about closing out and logging back in lith another username.. But I am not quite sure how to remove one or two and add one or two more...or is there a pdf I old read? Thanks....

Hello guys,is there a video of how i can setup kACARS with PHPVMS and my website or whatever? cause like i want to complete the pilots roster page, add and complete the HUBS page, etc. stuff of that sort. and possibly some assitance on the search flight modules and stuff? you'll have to excuse me i am 100% new at this, and this website http://skybahamasva.co.cc/index.php/ is what ive manged to do on my own. Hello everybody, I suspect couple of my VA pilots are using some tricks to edit their flight log recorded by kACARS before filing PIREPs to servers. There is a guy who used to have super bad landing rates & too many over-speeds in his flight log. He was very desperate to get in Top 10 Landing List. All of the sudden he began reporting absolutely perfect PIREP with no over-speed, no sim-paused & landing rates always below -100fpm. Now he tops in landing list with -14fpm & 4th spot with -20fpm. Hello, We have been experiencing a problem with our new Custom kACARS system. When one of our pilots finish a flight they will still be on our live flight maps and such and just marked as arrived. The only that i know how to fix it is to go into phpmyadmin and delete the pilot that is marked as arrived in the database acars_data. The reason we can not use the script built into the admin center is because we usually have more than one flight in the air at a time, so we cant clear all the data. thanks, any help will be greatly appreciated.

This has probably been asked before, but kACARS reports fuel in pounds to phpvms, then it gets recorded as kilograms. When doing manual pireps, pilots need to convert lbs to kgs. I was just wondering if there is a way to get phpvms to record fuel in lbs instead of kilograms.

Were were talking on our forum and were wondering how does kACARS determine the landing rate? At touchdown the rate becomes zero, so is the rate determined at the moment of contact? One second prior? Two seconds? Is it an average of the last few seconds? And take off speed. Is it the IAS at the moment of liftoff? Just curious how these parameters are determined.

Hi there, I have installed the Step 1 Aircraft buying Mod Version 0.91, and in the database, Under Aircraft, it added a table named 'cond' for aircraft condition. Is there a way that when filing a pirep with kACARS, it reads the current condition of the aircraft, and based on the landing rate, it write a new condition to the table? The idea is with a landing with a rate between -200 and -300 to subtract 7% from the condition. From -300 to -400 to subtract 15% from the condition and -400 to -500 subtract 30%. any landing harder than -500 subtract 50%. I was thinking of the core/modules/KACARS_Free/kACARS_Free.php module, maybe it can be write into that? my own UNS…

Hello Guys, Ive made 2 routes for me and a friend to do for testing we have both bid for the individual route and we cant get the route on kACARS as it says "No Flight Found" and when we look in the "My Flight Bids" there is no route there. Many of our members are experiencing the issue that when the start there flight with KACARS & FSUIPC there FSX Crashes after a while of flight. I am unable to find a solution to this issue.. Lorathon can you update me on this? Is it a KACARS issue or what? How can we solve this? All FSX Members are complaining the same since we upgraded to KACARS 1.0.1.1

Hello evrybody. I would like to ask if it is possible to stop the flight log with kacars when the Pilot shutts down the engine,and not when the parkring break are set. Last time i had 8 planes in front of me,and i putted the parking brakes on,and the flight log stopped immediately. Hi, I am trying to set up a new VA using phpVMS and kACARS_Free v1.0.1.1 and Module v1.0.1.1. When I try to Log In from the kACARS_Free I get the typical "Notify System Administrator of the Switch error. Data not recieved. Switch = Verify" I have researched the forum for similar problems and I have tried all the suggestions. Unfortunately I have not been able to resolve this issue so far. I will appreciate your help.
