Hey All, This is Casey, I'm new to any sort of ACARS program, but not to vatsim. I'll give a bit of background on myself, because if we choose kACARS, you will likely see a lot more of me. I'm vatsim member 981110, a P1 pilot, a C1 controller, the vZDV Facility Engineer, and most importantly for this purpose, the Central Dispatch Manager for Mountain Air Virtual Airlines (MTN). We are in our 13th year, being founded at Denver International Airport in 1998 by Gary Widup and company, and we are still going strong. My problem is that i get this error when i launch kACARS of a desktop shortcut. I deleted the kACARS folder in core/modules and re installed the module from the kacars website. Then I got Notify System Admin of the switch error Data not recived Switch = verify Please help. Chris

Hey In our Schedules gives one flight (at now) where the pilot must land to refuel his plane. After this he must fly to the destination. But after i do the takeoff the flight phase dont change. Can one add an bottum to remove the Landing-infos? That kACARS ecord the landing at the destination??? or gives this everywhere?

Hey guys. I need some help. I keep getting error messages from my Kacars when trying to start a flight. I have attached 2 screenshots. The first on occurs when I go to retrieve a flight bid. I can continue from this one with no probs. But... the second picture shows what happens when I actually start the flight, and I am unable to continue from this point. Any Ideas?

Hey Fellas, I was just wondering is it possible to have cabin announcements or recorded cabin announcements added in kACARS Custom? http://luvswava.org Used recordings before, But now they are using automated generated voice thingies for each different airport. And i Found that VERY COOL! Let me know if it is possible, and feel free to say how cool it would be to have that!

Is there an error log someplace for kACARS? I have this all installed on my local computer. I am using http://localhost/phpvms as my BaseURL. Everything seems fine (I can connect, I see my Flight Bids, I can start recording and fly my flight), but when I click on File PIREP, it comes back with the normal "PIREP Filed OK" box, but it isn't actually updating the database with anything. It's as if the PIREP just vanishes into thin air. I do see the contents of the PIREP in the send.xml file, but as I say, nothing is going into the database. Where can I look to find out why? Cheers.

Hi Guys, Quick question from my members, We have noticed that while using kACARS, if we are doing Touch and Go practice, as soon as the aircraft touches the Runway the ACARS logs a landing, but then seems to stop capturing data. Certain things continue, such as flight time, but alot of the logging stops. Is this something that can be altered to recognise multiple takeoffs and landings? Very Best Regards,

I tried to solve this using the threads that discuss it here, but nothing I try seems to work. I cannot login with kACARS. I get the Switch error and in the lower right it says CONNECTION ERROR! The URL is http://www.ozarkva.net and it is on a VPS that I rent. There may be some php settings to change, but I have no idea what they would be. I have .NET 4.0 installed and kACARS versions match. I am running kACARS as administrator. What have I missed?

I just wanted to say publicly that I purchased the custom version of this and I like the functionality and ease of use. Jeff is always quick to reply if there are any issues. If you're thinking of purchasing this program, it will be money well spent. Thanks Jeff you do a great job.

We at AlexandAIR Virtual, using the kACARS_Free program for few months. Very good program. I have one question: one pilot perform a flight, created by me with an A318, but the pilot did it with King Air 350. is it possible to stop this happening again??? in other words, is it possible the program to read the user's aircraft and if it does not match, doesn't let him do the flight??

When I first got kacars with the new custom stuff I loved it, still do today, it's really nice to not have to worry about closing out and logging back in lith another username.. But I am not quite sure how to remove one or two and add one or two more...or is there a pdf I old read? Thanks....

Hello Guys, Ive made 2 routes for me and a friend to do for testing we have both bid for the individual route and we cant get the route on kACARS as it says "No Flight Found" and when we look in the "My Flight Bids" there is no route there. I am using the paid version of kAcars for my va. I am using this for over a year. I am having a rather odd issue. Whenever I am running kAcars on the same pc as I run FSX, I see a rather big drop in FPS. It drops from about 30fps to 20fps. I have tried to solve the issue by running the program on an extra pc. There I see about the same drop. 8-9 fps, as soon as I attach kAcars to FSX. As Rex is eating another 10fps, you guess that I am flying around 12 fps at fast. Is this a common problem, that kAcars eat so many fps? It is to me not doing any graphical stuff. Yes it is collecting data, but so much?

I am having a problem When i try and log in to my va from kacars i get the kAcars_free module error please contact your system admind... everything thing is set up right web address etc... but i cant log in to save my life I think i have the module in the right place im on windows 7 64bit fsx both are run as admin http://virtualunitedairlines.org
