I am making a virtual airline (Alaska Virtual Airlines) and will be setting it up with phpvms. I want to use the logo and name of the Real World Alaska Airlines/Horizon Airlines on my site. What should I do so someone doesn't come knocking on my door?

Hi all, I've taken down the JIRA bug tracker. Too many resources on the server, not worth it. Right now, all bugs should be reported here: https://github.com/nshahzad/phpVMS/issues vaCentral bugs can go in the vaCentral forum. This should make it easier to also track what's fixed/ what's not yet. I'm trying to centralize things a bit more to github, so perhaps people can participate in the modifications a bit more. That is my hope, at least. Thanks!

Hi Nabeel, I am not too sure how else to make contact with you except through this forum. I wanted to use your codon framework to create a website of my own, I downloaded the versions from github and copied them over to my local testing server. I change teh local.config.php file accordingly and try and view the site. I've made the build scripts public: https://github.com/n.../phpvms_navdata There is a rudimentary README file. But yeah, fork it, download it. It has to be run on the command line. If you point the db.php to your phpVMS install, it'll populate there.

Hey Guys, I now that you can use mysql_num_rows but with phpVMS theres the custom mysql connect syntax that makes everything a lot cleaner. i.e. DB::get_results($query) How do I count rows? (i.e. count the number of schedules with B747-400 departing EHAM) Cheers, Nout

Messing around with a test install v.934. The only extra thing added is VA Forum 2. Having issues adding airports today. Can add one then instead of clicking the link to add another, I have to literally click on add new airports then click add airport. If not, then when I go to look up info it sticks and fetches no airport info what so ever. Not a bug I am quite sure so am posting here just a general inquiry if anyone else is having issues today.

I own a virtual airline (Historic Airline Group). I want to bring FSACARS to our airline, as well as bringing some sort of flight selector for pilots to use and an improved way to submit pireps. Right now we do it the old fashioned way: I get an email and post it by hand to the web site. Time to move into the 21st century! Problem is, I have no idea what I'm doing. Hi Guys, I have built a flightplan parser that does all sorts of things including reading airways and breaking them up into their constituent waypoints. To do this it directly references the X-Plane waypoint databases. Must easier than sending tons of queries to MySQL. Now I have it all working in parser.php but want to include it into a template file so that it neatly fits into my VA site. The database file's don't seem to be found even when i reference them with i.e. 'http://www.vasite.com/files/waypoints.idx' Basically how do I integrate the stuff I have into the Codon interface? Hey there, I'm trying to get a 717-200 repaint going for FS9/FSX so we can start phasing out MD-83s in service at TexAir, but I've lost touch with the painter whom used to help us as he was quite busy. It needs to be a freeware model, either the JCA or HJG model will work as long as the necessary permissions are granted (I can seek these myself or the painter can do it, just let me know). I have two ideas in mind for the 717 - the first of which is to have the exact same paint scheme that our MDs have (mostly bare metal with some small designs), and the second is a new idea pitched by our COO of a white scheme with a Texas flag overlay on the fuselage. Hello. I am working on setting up and organizing my VA. The name is FlyAmerica Virtual with headquarters located in Philadelphia. I was wondering if there was anyone here who would be willing to pain our fleet. Hi. I'm working on creating and putting into a database all the routes for my VA. But I was wondering, how can I find out the distance from one airport to another? Simroutes doesn't have all the routes I have so I don't know what to do for those routes. Is there a formula I can use in excel? Or a better website than simroutes? Thanks.

Hey all. I have been simming online for years but refused to ever fly at VATSIM. Well, I have had a change of heart and as we speak, I am logged on to VATSIM monitoring radio COMS. Anyone have any friendly advice for a Vatsim virgin? Are charts mandatory to fly there? I know how to use SIDS and STARS so it is no biggie, was mainly curious. Any advice I can get I would love it. I would hate to log on and get banned my first flight for doing something wrong. I have heard time and time again about how picky they are there. Thanks Ray

Let's say my last location is LPPT and i go to schedules to bid but no aircraft or no schedule avaliable at LPPT(in my VA). I just was looking at a few details on my site and doing some tweaking. I went and vied the details for a schedule and I clicked the links that says Click TO View NOTAMS. It goes to here https://pilotweb.nas.faa.gov/geo/icaoRadius.html?icao_id=KPIT&radius=2 That example is KPIT. If you know how to fix this, please let me know.... With Windows 7 and my server is local like this "myserver.local". When i am running windows 7 ulmiate and when i was adding the domain to it with locally and it said.......... An Active Directory Domain Controller (AD DC) for the domain "KYLE75675.local" could not be contacted. Ensure that the domain is typed correctly. What is wrong. My server is connected and on and running to the router and my computer is running to the router too. How can i fix this? Thanks
