1. I've been experimenting with spry-based drop down menus. While they work fine, I'd like to set one up so it only appears after the pilot is logged in. What is the best way to do this? 2. Somewhere, I saw a thread where there were several graphics that could be used to advertise phpVMS. I can't recall where I saw it and no keyword I can think of allows me to successfually search for it. Anyone know where it is? 3. Duh, I forgot what 3 is.

I've seen a lot of cool stats listed on peoples sites but I can't figure out what code to put in do to what. I'm sure there is a list of what does what somewhere in the docs but I can't seem to figure out what is what. Heck, I don't even know how to link the contact module so I can have a contact form. Any help would be appreciated. BTW, I'm a network engineer so working with code is not really my thing. :-)

I just wanted to swing by and say hello to all and see how things were going? I am about 4 or 5 beta versions behind now as time slips by me. I have been finding myself in the hospital and doctors offices now when not at work. Makes it kind of hard to work on a website or even fly for that matter. I do find an hour a week to brew up a new batch of home brew beer though. I hope to get back into the swing of things soon and I hope everyone here is doing well. Have a great day/night Ray

Anyone here ever attempted to use the time tables from Ultimate traffic for their airline? My test site is a mirror of a real world airline who has since been taken over by another airline. I used Ultimate traffic to generate time tables for all of their flights as of 2003. Now that particular airline only had a very small number of aircraft and a very large schedule system. I am trying to figure out how in the hell they could possibly pull off that many flights per day using 12 of one type of aircraft and 9 of another type. I know some of the routes were out sourced. The time tables I got were figured without any partner airlines though. Was just curious if anyone ha…

This is probably something for you Nabeel Would it be possible to put a training centre into phpvms? It would work like the flight system whereby staff put information on available courses (related to flying) into the administration centre and then they would be displayed on a page and could be bidded on by pilots? And the pilots can choose a day and time they would like to do it from a list on the bid page for that course. That information is then relayed to the staff member responsible for that course and they confirm the training and an email is then sent to the pilot to let them know it has been confirmed. hope you like it (and hope it's possible even more!), robo…

I have a quick question. Not really support or bug related...I do not think at least so I enquire in general. If a pilot transfers say 50 hours of time to the VA, does that effect his/her rank too? Or does it just give time credit per profile and NOT count towards rank?

Me and my COO were sitting in our teamspeak earlier discussing things when a random user named Colin Woody popped in. We have never given anything about our website or teamspeak out. He claimed to be a web designer working for Boeing and Mcdonald Douglas and coded a majority of their website. He claims to have done a lot of work with PHPVMS and actually had a fair amount of knowledge about the system. Now he wants to be a web designer for my VA. What should I do? He also has a VATSIM ID. Like the updated look! I'd guess it includes an update of the forum software too - and better security. Thanks to David and the rest of the team for all you do! I about had a heart attack the other day when the forums were down. I'm in the middle of an upgrade to 5.5.2 from 2.x and will probably be in need of assistance shortly. One issue I had with the old forum which continues into this one - on my Android tablet the forum redirects to: br-update.com/u/4182 . IIRC, someone else has reported this issue also. Hello, i was just curious if anyone knew what operating system http://www.usairwaysva.org/ uses?(because i dont think its PHPVMS) I am curious becuase it looks really nice and cool. Also, the only other operating system i know of is VABASE. But i can not figure out VABASE, i own it...i just cant figure it out. Thanks- Ryan
