Hello Guys, I am a realy Noob on PHP. I have a two Questions. 1. Can some one help me to prepare the Schedules Flight Page that only the Flights from your last arrival Airport and the Flights by the right days will displayed? A Flight only on Tuesday shall only shwon on Tuesday. 2. In this reason I want to display also the available Aircrafts on Dep Airport and if there are no Aircrafts you must order an aircraft from a other airport at a small charge. Is this possible together? And can some one help me pls. Thanks in advance. Malchor

Hey all, I am wondering if it's possible to create a code that can show the top 10 most flown routes. I know i can see it in the admin panel but i would like it to be available as information for my pilots as well... just a thought, hopefully someone knows the answer? :-) Regards, Lucas

Hi, Would it be possible to codeshare with other virtual airlines using PHPVMS? That way, when the pilot of the other virtual airline files a PIREP, the codeshare virtual airline will get charged for it, but will get the flight hours / miles credited. Just an idea, Jamie - www.flybia.cz.cc

Hi i just had an idea not sure if it would work but i dont see why not, i have various request to add routes in to my VA that currently are not there, this is because i dont have access to the realworld schedules, however what i was looking to do is create a form pilots could fill in the information and post pending moderation and that data could be imported in to the system. The form would need to contain all the correct fields required for a csv import or even a direct sql import once moderated. The data could be stored directly in to the database, i suppose another table could be created for this and once moderated a click could be put in to the correct phpvms table f…

Has anyone ever made a basic voting booth? I badly need a way for pilot to vote on stuff on my site and right now we have no way to do it. I could use a poll option from a regular forum, but we do not use a regular forum. We use VA Forum2. It would need the option of running multiple polls at once since some would run longer or shorter than others. I am stuck between a rock and a hard place now with this one. I am not sure how to code one up at all using admin section of phpVMS.

Since we have pay adjust built in to phpVMS now, I am wondering if it is at all possible to create a cron job that will pay adjust pilot spay weekly. Like say for example, a hub managers pay is $5k/wk. On a set day, the cron would run and adjust the pilot s pay according to the weekly pay rate. Problem is, if you have many different jobs with many different pay rates, how many crons would be needed and how would it know who to pay what to? I have never been a cron job wizard. What I do not know about them can fill a book. It would be REAL sweet if we can figure out a way to pay the staff their weekly pay and then have it either send them an email or even an AIRMail t…

Hi Guys, With work in progress on my new project (www.milairsim.com) I have plans to devise a few additions to PHP VMS to try and cater for the military side of this hobby. I have just started work on a Training Center Module. The idea of this will be to have a user group of Instructors, who can then create training courses. These courses in turn will have lessons which will have the content and any documents/downloads required. Pilots can book a place on a course, as long as there are free places left, and once accepted by the Instructor they gain access to the training material. The instructor can then mark each lesson as complete for a student, and hopefully if i can…

Not sure if i have posted this in the correct thread however i have come up with what i think to be a good idea! Basically i have noticed alot of airlines list an aircraft as a Wet Lease from another, so maybe we could maybe make or come up with a module which alows a Marketplace where people can list aircraft they are willing to lease out for a fixed time. I know this sounds silly as you can add aircraft at no cost which brings me on to my next idea. We as airlines earn Millions on Virtual $$$ and have nothing to really spend it on other than fuel and external costs... So how about make it cost us our virtual dollars to lease or buy new aircraft? Hi Guys, Im new to phpVMS and learning rapidly!! What I would like to create is a schedule request form, that my pilots can use to request new schedules to be added. When the form is submitted, the schedule will be inserted into the database, but with a "PENDING" sort of status. The Admins will be emailed that there is a "PENDING" Schedule request. The admins will then reject or approve the schedule and it is then added to the VA's list. The Pilot will then be emailed if the schedule has been approved or not. has anyone done anything similar, or can someone point me in the right direction of where to start? Many Thanks Kev

Ok gurus, I need your help once again. This time I am up to no good. Well, it is good so yeah. Anyhow, What I want to do is use some code to pull every image in a directory and display it on a page. I am attempting to do this using the glob function. Problem is, it is wanting to put index.php before my image directory and that breaks the images obviously. if I use the old ../ trick, the page goes blank. If I try to hard code the entire url (which i know is not right and not to do but for testing), same thing, page goes all blank. I have even tried to , even though I knew better, to use use the old php echo url thing and no such love, once again, blank page. …

Hello everyone, today I was doing a test with APVacars and noticed the following error (do not know if this happens to me), but when I click GET Flight it does not return me the data flying there on my site (but does not return me any) error, and the module appears on my site. It returns only the information of the fsx. But when I click Start Flight it appears the following error: You Must Click on Get Flight. But the Start button changes to Log Log STop What could this be?

Oh boy two ideas in one night I'm on a role! Well...Maybe. I came up with this idea after having pilots complain about having to contact HR about everything via email. My idea is to create a Resignation Form so pilots can resign directly via the website. Basically it will be a page with their name and pilot ID, and a text area for the pilot to put their reason for resignation When they hit submit, it is submitted to a table in the database and appears in the admin panel in a table (like a list) An admin could simply push approve and it will delete the pilot account, or deny and the entry will be removed. Hi all, I am having a problem when trying to log in using both the GitHub Version and Free Version of APVAcars. Here is the error I'm getting: An unhandled exception of type 'System.InvalidCastException' occurred in Microsoft.VisualBasic.dll Additional information: Conversion from string " <div id="codon_crit_error" Line affected: If GetPageAsString("verify", "&pilotID=" & My.Settings.PilotId & "&password=" & My.Settings.PilotPassword & "") = 0 Then I have removed the details from the login fields for security reasons obviously.
