When I use Template::show I understand that it looks in the skin folder first and then goes to core/templates to find it. Is there a way that I couls add a directory in the middle ? so it would look in the skin directory first, then a secondary directy, THEN move onto core/templates ? Any help would be greatly appreciated (I am running multiple skins and would like to make use of this so that I can only edit one file and affect all templates. I could use the core/templates folder but I think I would loose everything during an upgrade )

Can someone help me, I analyzed my site and realized that the person filling out the contact form .... the data is not sent to the registered email address when installing phpvms. I noticed that too when sending e-mail to all pilots in the admin center, shows that it was sent but no one receives ... Does anyone have any idea?

I am receiving Strict Standards errors all over the place. just for example when I try to change skins in the admin panel I get these errors.. Hello, I don't know if any VA owners have noticed that when you edit a pilots profile, the drop down menu in their profile selects Afghanistan as default so when you save the changes you've made, it changes their country to Afghanistan. This means every profile you edit, you have to remember their original country and re-select it after you've made your adjustments, could the next version of phpVMS sort this problem?

I know if you import a csv file it removes all the flight bids that have been made but can you add/edit routes individulay in admin without it affecting the bids already made?

Hello all, Little issue here... If I create a custom profile textarea field, no matter what new members write in it, it only keeps the first 24 characters in their profile. So I can't read what they wrote, except for the first 24 characters... Any idea? Thanks!

Hi there, I was wondering if there is a way to add a random flight generator to your va? I know it sounds silly, but whenever someone bids on a flight, you have to re-make it. If anything, is there a way to make the schedule static so when someone bids, it won't go away? Or even better, take the bidding out all togther? Thanks for your time.

Hello everyone, Having an issue and I believe Jeff said it must be something to do with PHPVMS' coding. Basically, I have a custom version of kACARS. In the custom version, there is a default login placed there for knowledge purposes (XXX1001 and a default password) - just to show how the pilots must login. Unforuntely, some pilots are just clicking the "login" button with those credentials in there. Somehow, the system is accepting that login! They end up showing on the ACARS map with a blank name and when they file, no PIREP being attached to their true account but rather account ID 901 by default. I am in a bit of a muddle. I am pretty sure I have a db problem. I have tried to run the checkdb, but it just loads blank. Everything else works, the forum, the blog, html files work fine. http://malaysiava.org. Does anyone here know how to fix it? All I did before this happened was edit the app.config file and local.config file, did nothing with the db connection part. I wanted to see if I could get the url rewrite thing working, I uploaded a htaccess file and a custom 404.htm page. It then went blank, so Thought deleting the htaccess file and 404.htm file and reverted back to what I had with the app.config file. All I edited in the local.config file was to add some line…

I have searched all over the forums and have not found anything on it. The gcmap went from flat showing my pilots 10 last flights to being a huge globe map showing the flights. Is there any way to keep the map in flat view? I searched gcmaps website and found no solution!

I noticed last night that my VA's Total Hours is not changing. It has been stuck on 14,777 hours. Today with 13 flights already put in, it has not changed. Any idea whats causing this? Resetting the hours didn't help.

Hi Guys, I searched the forum about my question and I could not see a clear answer. If there was and if I could not see it, sorry for this indeed. My virtual airline has a code as INX and IATA as 6K. While I was setting up phpVMS, there was only one box to set the VA code. Now our pilots and flights have the same code, INX but how can I achieve to set flight starts with 6K? Thank you.

Hi there, I have this bizarre issue where one of my pilots filed a PIREP with a different aircraft to the one supplied in the schedule, and I'm confused how that happened, any ideas? This is the schedule: FE,9320,EGGP,GCFV,,G-EUTA,,,14:20,18:40,04:20,,,P,46, And G-EUTA is visible in the system, in the Admin Panel. However, the pilot's PIREP states that the route was flown using G-EULI, a completely different aircraft from a different hub. I was thinking he could have used the option 'Select Aircraft' in kACARS and that could have affected the PIREP maybe?
