hey In my VA most of routes are messed up. They appear in Admin panel but when I enter search by Departure or Airport it does not. It's like all messed up, even LiveMap seems like is messed up. And one more can pilots change destenatoin or departure in Xacars on Acars? Thanks

Is there a way of getting the METAR of your hubs to show on the homepage? I think this would be a handy thing to have for the pilots, so they know what the weather conditions are like each day. Cheers Dan C

Hi there, I want to save some space by inserting a METAR into a table, and with that in mind, it looks rather odd to have something like Current METAR: METAR: EGGP 131420Z 17006KT 7000 SCT025 SCT033 03/00 Q1021 How can I remove the bold METAR from the class? Where is it defined, does anyone know by any chance?

So I uploaded a clean install of phpvms to the live server and was just running through the install, and after putting in my DB info it gave some php error about it needing to be a string. I tinkered with it a bit, hit the 'test connection' button and it gave me an error saying accessis denied for me. Problem is that my DB username and DB name have an underscore in them. The error message truncated the underscore and everything after it. I'm going to try upping my (already installed) local copy, and altering the local.config by hand. wish me luck. Hi guys, i need your help. I have to migrate from my actual private hosting to a new hosting and new domain. What is the procedure to do? I have to copy ftp and database in the new ftp and new database? And than i have to edit a file for the url changing?

Hi all, I have been searching these forums and trying different things all day to sort this problem but I think it has beaten me so any help would be much appreciated. I moved my site to a new host and I think my main problem is that the SQL is a different version. I am not clued up on databases at all really. My old host was SQL 5.5 and my new one is 5.6 The first problem I cam accross was that once I tried to log in was I got the dreaded You need to be logged in to view this page. This happened on my skin and default skin. After clearing my CAche and PHPVMS_sessions it made no difference. Next I tried a fresh install and upgraded to Simpilot…

I have set this flight types in core/app.config.php Config::Set( 'FLIGHT_TYPES', array( 'P'=>'Passenger', 'C'=>'Cargo', 'H'=>'Charter', 'M'=>'Military' ) In the admin center - airline operations - add schedule, the dropdown list show correctly the Military flight type and is recorded on the schedule. When i bid this military flight and send the pirep with kACARS it is registered on the phpvms_pireps table as a 'P' flight. How can i solve this problem ? What is the program that receive the data from the bid and then write on the pireps table ? TNX - Gianni

Is anyone using phpVMS in a military VA environment? I'm looking at quite a bit of customization and trying to make a decision as to whether it's worth the extra effort. While phpVMS looks like an excellent program for a civilian airline it does not provide for the kind of freeform route structure required by the military (any airport to any airport); a rank structure based on merit, not flight hours; pay has no real meaning; etc. A helpful pointer to a really good military admin program that will run on a Windows server (even payware) would be very much appreciated! Hi i have two minor annoyances id like to sort out:1. Email Issues-When ever a new pilot signs up for the system he won't recive a confirmation email i don't know what's wrong my host supports auto email's.2. When adding custom ranks. Adding a rank throws a "The hours must be a number" error even if the hours entered are indeed a number. This bug does not appear to be impairing functionality

Hi, I just noted that when scheduling flights, a minor glitch manifests itself in that Thursday is shown as R i.e. the weekdays get abbreviated as follows: Monday (M) Tuesday (T), Wednesday (W) Thursday ® Friday (F) Saturday (S) Sunday (Su). I have been browsing through the files and cannot seem to find where the abbreviations are located. Any help as to where I could find that file so I could modify Thursday to start showing up as Th?? Hi, I have copied all SQL database for the tables of my 9 pilots and put it into the SQL database on the new server. When adding the pilots hours, for some reason or another if i give them 03:30 hours, phpvms says -03:30 hours. How do you get minus hours? Even when the hours are reset to 0 and then added manually by flying a pirep it still says - 03:30. Does any one know whats going on? Many thanks chris

Hi, Quick question, I have noticed that there is an issue with total flight times on pilot profiles, and I'm not sure how to fix it, or if it's even an issue. It might be me just miscalculating something. Let me give you an example. I have logged three flights on my profile. My total flight time shows as 3.25. Now to take the times of the three flights, these are 00:38, 01:14, 01:33, which works out after adding as 205 minutes / 60 = 3.41 hours. Is there a hidden trick I've missed or maybe some kind of an issue with my settings? I wouldn't like to leave it like that, I imagine it could cause potentially some issues later on.
