Hi, I have been experimenting installing phpVMS at an ISP. The installation was successfull and the main page did display correctly. However when I tried to selecet any of the other pages like registration or login, I got 404 page not found. After spending a full day researching, mode_rewrite, .htaccess rules, the forum, the code, etc... in vain, the ISP suggested me to install the software on a different server where they run php 5.2. On this new (actually old) platform everything seems to be working. ISP claimed that php 5.3 does not handle the index.php/link type url's ! I have asked them to provide me some doc proving their claim so that I could share with you.…

ok, so my server was updtate to PHP 5.4 now i get Cannot re-assign auto-global variable _FILES I understand this is due to PHP 5.4, and I have read there are workarounds somewhere, but I cannot find any information on this forum on how to fix it. Does anyone have any ideas what needs changing to fix this issue

Good Day. We have ACARS running on version 5.4.3. Our ISP have just upgraded their site to handle PHP version 5.4.4, and now we are experiencing compatibility problems. Any chance that you will be upgrading to 5.4.4 in the near future? We have spent a fair amount of money on add-ons based on the PHP system, and have a large ACARS logging data base on the PHP VMS system that looks like it is all going to go pear shaped if something does not happen. I would appreciate your comments.

My server has been updated with version 5.5 My phpvms website os,, fully blank!! Is anyone knows hot to fix it? I can set back version 5.2 and get my VA working but I also have other applications requesting 5.5 on another domain, Thank you

Event Attendance Pilot Statistics Pilot # Of Events Attended DAL1242 - Will Barker 1 SWA1000 - Brian Mensing 1 LIA1232 - Che Jackson 1 I will just added this program to our website. We did a test event but we still showing up as we did the event. I deleted it from the admin side the event. is there a way to rest this statistic page. I deleted everything from the system and re add it back and we still show use we did the even.

okay, sorry too ask for something again lol, well i have been working on my virtual airline for some time now, and i have codeshare branches on my airline, which operate expanded routes through out Europe and Americas, but i have a few thing on my Operations page for the different airline, such as JET2 AND DHL, now i ahve added those airlines and some schedules how would i show the latest flights flown by that airline and a schedule just by that particular airline, to show it on the page, not the whole system schedule but just that particular one, if its possible!, now i now i have posted this before dont get mad at me, please! and i have been through the API, lol am just…

I discovered that my problems with installation and work occuring because of provider. There is specified configuration of PHP core. I checked on the other server with other settings of php core. PHP works perfect... with php version 5.2.17 On my host provider it not works good. I have lot of errors. Below is php core conf which is work fine i have found major differences: allow_url_include disable_functions enable_dl include_path Can somebody tell which positions is really important to proper work phpvms script ?

Hello all. I am pretty new to PHPVMS but I am faced with a tough one here. We are just 3 days old setting up PHP for our VA using smartCARS. We have various issues due to fuel, pax and cargo prices among others and would like to review the PHP manuals. I found this link to phpVMS documentation in the control panel -- http://www.phpvms.net/docs/doku.php. However, every link we try is a deadend going to this note; "Not Found The requested URL /docs/setting_up_your_airline was not found on this server." There are a lot of subjects we would like to check out in that list but can't as almost all of them come up this way. Can you point me to the current location of these phpVMS User Guide subjects please? Thanks, Jerry

Hello, I was installing PHPVMS fresh for the first time on my server. I use bluehost and I have a dedicated IP address and php 5.0. When visiting my main site URL I get this error Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '=', expecting '(' in /home/pacifij1/public_html/fazuairways/core/codon.config.php on line 85 Then when I visit the install directory at install.php I get this error! Hey guys, I have over 1,000 flights to burn into my database, and I used to bring like 500 flights and during the import, I get the Exectuion Error Max time reached. Is there anyway for me to boost up the php Exection limit or add anything? Thanks.

I was trying to accept pireps at my VA and i got this error, so right now i cannot accept them. "Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2989 bytes) in ...core/classes/ezdb/ezdb_mysql.class.php on line 273" http://prntscr.com/3v9w71 Now i know i need to increase the PHP memory limit size but what value should i increase it to? Can i do it myself or does my host need to do it? How can i find out the current size limit? How do i do it? Any help is very welcome!

Logged into my web sight today and noticed I no longer have any information for my VA. I have my page but all pilots are gone. Including my self.. All pireps are gone.. Everything but my custom page layout are gone. Wondering if there was a problem with the server or if something major has happened to my web sight? Is there any way to get it back?

Whats the best way of saving a user value, entered into a textbox - to a string. For example, the user of phpvms, enters their va name into a textbox, which then translates into <? php echo SITE_URL ?>. I want to do something like that. Please help! Thanks

HI is there a way to redirect to the requested page if members are not logged in? For example, someone tries to reach a page that requires them to be logged in so they are firstly directed to the login page then after successfully logging in they are taken to their initial requested page.

Hi all, I'm having a bit of a struggle with the custom .htm pages, I can get php to work however when it comes to things like <? echo $pilotcode; ?> they won't display. I understand it's to do with the defining variable not being passed to the custom page but can't figure out how to solve it. Any suggestions or solutions?
