I'm very new to this virtual airline business but i wanted to set up one from a long time. a few days i ago i heard of a Virtual Airline manager and i stumbled upon PHPvsm, i downloaded it and now i have no idea of what i have to do with all the files contained within the download so if someone could help me it would be very much appriciated thank you

Hello! I have a request for something that I think will benefit everyone. At the moment you select one aircraft to fly for a certain route. However, the pilot, might not own that aircraft because it is for example payware. So the pilot cannot fly the route. However if in the route details it says that you can use another aircraft as alternative (e.g. a freeware similar aircraft size) then they would be able to fly and will add it to their bid, fly it, PIREP it. Hi all! I'm having a problem sending manual PIREPS from the website with phpvms. The pireps sended with Xacars, kACARS and FsPax are OK. The problem is that sometimes, ACARS programs crashes and the only way to file a pirep to count that hours is filling it manually from the pilot's menu in phpvms. But when I write all there and send the pirep, it gives me this error message: The flight code and number you entered is not a valid route! Ovbiously the pirep doesn't appear in the administration menu to accept it, so I don't know what I have to do to make that manual pireps can be sended. Thanks so much for the help!

Hello, I am searching for an export of many airports. As we are running a business airline with no schedule, I want to get as much as possible airports in our database. I have a member of staff who is purely admin and does not fly. Is there a way apart from them filing a false PIREP, to stop the notification email being sent and the system to not recognise they have not done a flight without impacting on the rest of the members? I have had a search and could not find anything. Thanks in advance

If anyone is interested, I've managed to compile a current Navdata file ready for import to your database. NOTE: although it contains all navaids and waypoints, it does not have any airway information, therefore phpVMS will not expand any airways in the route (tbh, I'm not sure if it does this anyway). Since the files are too large to attach, they are available here: Gzipped CVS file Gzipped SQL file It would probably be a good idea to back up your database first - I assume no resposibility for loss off data

Somewhere along the lines when I was absent a while back, I mussed have missed the whole navdata thing. I noticed I have the table created in my database and all inserts have been added. My question is, how is it relevant to our websites and how do we use it? That is a massive amount of info in the database to just sit there. Any info on this would be appreciated. Ray

hey i was wondering if anybody knows how to change the time stamp...for instance when it submits a pirep it sends it as 12:00:00 i was wondering if anybody knew how i could change it to just submit as 12 with out the :00:00 any help in this matter would be great...thanks

Hi friends, I've been trying to create a page through the control of the fleet, pilots on visitors to see the number of flights performed by each aircraft miles flown and so on. Well I got the folder core/templates and created a file controlfleet.tpl and was testing at the following address www.mysite.com/index.php /controlfleet more when I go to the address the message appears: An Error Was Encountered The module "FLEETCONTROL" does not exist! Could anyone help me how to create the page, I used the page's source code that is in the Aircraft Reports Admin Center, or if there is any such addon please pass me the link, thanks.

Hello In the admin center, why does it say that the cron should be run when there are little or no flights being done. I also am just wondering how do I make all the pilot rank, their name, their flights, their hours and Pilot IDs be under the correct title. Thanks in advanced Icebox

Hello together! I hope you can really help me! My Problem is that i can insert a plane or a pilot but when i want to see them at the tables, there is nothing. But when I reenter the Pilot or plane or Airport it is showing: Airport already in Database! Thats right, they are in the Database! But they aren't shown in the Admin Panels! Why not? I have the latest version of phpvms.....Admin, when I click on Schedules, pilots/groups it's all there but Internet explorer warning pops up saying it can't open the page and says to, or it will abort if I close the message and it closes the page. Didn't hav this with the earlier version. Otherwise everything seems to be working, just need to learn how to use....documentation sucks for a novas.

I just installed the latest version of phpvms......no problem, database, permissions ran installer field in all fields....can't login...What this about. I show up as a new pilot but I can not login in with my email address or password and I checked everything.
