I'm really struggling installing phpvms. I have upload the files to my ftpclient and now i don't understand the next bit. "Click" open and copy the URL path to the "Install.php" Highlight the location field and copy the complete URL to the installer I'm using windows 7 and smartftp any help would be much appreciated. Whats the pros and cons of removing inactive pilots? Does it hurt your VACentral Ranking? What does everyone else do to pilots who never fly or don't fly anymore?

The acars map shows the planned route. Is there a way to show the actual flown route (thus far) on the acars map? Since the aircraft bubble updates on the acars map, the data should be available. TIA!

Hey guys, how do i hide my website login url? Example www.mywebsite/index.php/login is my login page. how do i change that to something else like www.mywebsite/login or just www.mywebsite.com without having the login name or index.php in my url ?

I dont know why. other than kAcars my website is working perfectly on other all Programs. I tested them also. But most of the users need kAcars. But it is not working, or it is unable to login! can any body say how to correct this problem? My website - www.airindiavirtual.com

Hi Guys, I think this is a self made problem what I'm not sure how to fix, I created another Airline in the admin section, as well as changed the flight numbers of all flights from ZAP to AWC, the ZAP airline code still remains as well as the new AWC code, both are enabled, no flights now show up in VAcentral (not surprised to be honest with you) If someone would kindly point me in the right direction to fix my monumental c**k up it would be much appreciated, all I wanted was to make the flight numbers the correct code of AWC instead of ZAP, also new users now have the ability to choose their pilot IDS as either ZAP or AWC which I didn't want either, any help as always g…

Ok, I'll admit that I don't really know anything about PHP but was able to at least follow the skinning tutorial... I was wondering if there is a way to customize the 'boarding pass' like add your airlines logo or change the format of it to look like that particular airlines actual boarding pass? Hello guys, I had a real weird issue today: When a user was logged in, the site was working normal. Soon as I logged out though, there were loads of error messages all over the homepage, many relating to database issues. Also, things like recent flights, filed pireps, news and other stuff that gets loaded from the db was not showing. I tried clearing the cache, didn't help. I bothered the support of my host but they pointed at the phpvms system, saying their servers were well within parameters. Then, while being logged out, I clicked on one of the links on my page and then went back the homepage.. all of a sudden all was fine! This got me thinking about the session m…

Hi, I've installed phpVMS 7.0 and I've got a problem in the css file directory. When I'm on phpvms/index.php, the css file directory are phpvms/index.php/public/assets/... but the good file directory is phpvms/public/assets/... I've tried to go on phpvms/ and it works fine for the css, but the redirection to installer (phpvms/index.php/install ) don't work because there is no index.php in file directory. How can I do ? I think this is only a problem of css file redirection but which files call these css files ? Kind regards

Nabeel, Is there any way of making error messages red and bold, for example when a user registers if for example they fail the human test this text gets lost on the page and its difficult to distinguish, if i can change a setting in the css to make these messages red and bold that would be excellent. Would you happen to know what the style or class is?

Nabeel, While editing any pilot's information from the Admin Center, If I click the "Save Changes" button the top says "Profile updated successfully" but then no changes have actually been done. I have tried several accounts and the same problem exists for each member. I'm not sure why it isn't working as it was before. Should I re-install the admin stuff again through cPanel or is there a quick fix up your sleeve?

Gday Guys I went to fire up my site today and i got this error Notice: The template file "/home/a5579765/public_html//lib/skins/CURRENT_SKIN/header.tpl" doesn't exist in /home/a5579765/public_html/core/classes/TemplateSet.class.php on line 248 i have not changed any files on the site, and for some reason this decided to display, im unsure what it means, may someone please explain the situation to me please, its ironic, as i was just about to move the site onto a paid hosting service Thanks

Hello all, As i am still bust with configuring everything and translating everything i noticed a strange thing in the calculated distances in the flight schedules. I have routes with 2 decimals and with three Example: EHAM -ZBAA = 4231.03 and EHAM - LFPG = 215.289 Is there anyway to change this so it wil automaticly going to round figure like EHAM -ZBAA = 4231 and EHAM - LFPG = 215 Tnx and have a great 2011 Regards, Cor

Hi, Quick question, I have noticed that there is an issue with total flight times on pilot profiles, and I'm not sure how to fix it, or if it's even an issue. It might be me just miscalculating something. Let me give you an example. I have logged three flights on my profile. My total flight time shows as 3.25. Now to take the times of the three flights, these are 00:38, 01:14, 01:33, which works out after adding as 205 minutes / 60 = 3.41 hours. Is there a hidden trick I've missed or maybe some kind of an issue with my settings? I wouldn't like to leave it like that, I imagine it could cause potentially some issues later on.
