Hi mates. Im trying to use 2 modules for the schedule system (RealSchedLite from SimPilot and FlightBookingSystem_V1 from Parko) - and unfortunately the pilots are bidding in every plane, the ranking restriction is not working in these modules... does anyone knows how to fix this? thanks.

Hi, I know I brought this post up in the past, but I was unable to set it up. The code I had was completely wrong and closed out all the schedules besides AAL001. Does anyone have any other idea on how I can erstrict New Hires from flying like 777's? Like in the real world, new pilots first start small, as there hours get bigger so do the aircraft they can fly. Thanks Ada

Hey Everyone, I have a problem and when I set my aircraft restricts, and I put that setting in the local.config.php file # Pilot pilots to only fly aircraft they're ranked to Config::Set('RESTRICT_AIRCRAFT_RANKS', true); And It is still not working, it is showing all of my schedules. What Could be the Problem? Thanks!

Has VMS got to the stage where a pilot can select any aircraft for a given route rather than the admin chosen one? I only ask as I flew 2 routes with a 767 and had 737 capacity. Thanks Richard

In the aircraft table, what is the purpose of the minrank and ranklevel fields? I'm assuming one if them is for the minimum rank level to use that specific equipment. Also, in phpVMS 5.2.2 - does restricting the aircraft by rank actually work correctly. I'm using simpilot's Front Schedules if that makes any difference. Thanks

My site is near completion; only one remaining problem that I cannot get solved. In the PILOT CENTER and PILOT PUBLIC PROFILE pages I have this problem: I am trying to add a table to show Aircraft usage by ICAO code. Once that pilot has flown that aircraft I want it to show in the table, so we can keep track of how many hours a pilot has spent in the plane so they can earn an award for certain aircraft. I was trying to pull out the information from what was showing from the ADMIN CENTER (Aircraft Reports), with no success. Can someone help me with this. is it possbile if i assgin a aircraft to a route and i assgin a same aircraft to a different routes. How can i adviod like the aircraft is in use? I dont want to put over 50 same aircrafts with different regs. How can i make one aircaft open that wont say aircraft is in use. Please Help Me?

Hey i was wondering is there anyway you can make your airline code 4 letters?? Cause as of right now i tried to make mine 4 and it only accepts 3...Could i easily change this or prolly not..even if its a little hard it would be nice to use 4 letters..

Is it possible for VMS airlines to join together? As per real world Eastern fly's routes for South West, BMI Regional to name a couple. I wondered if it was possible to "merge" or link VMS VA's so the pilots could share your joint airlines routes, or something i cant think how it could be done so im throwing it out to you guys for discussion. How would it be possible to pull information such as an airline name, total pilots, pending pilots, number of schedules, number of flights, all this information into a web page from a public web address such as http://www.mywebsite.com/core/airlinestats.php ? somthin another like that because you cant pull the information from the codon config since the local config is encoded and it uses that to get the information is it possible ?

Hi all, I was wondering if it is possible to change the my VA's ICAO code it is currently ANG and I need to change it to NGE. Anyone know how to do this? The only reason I wish to change the code is because I was doing one of our scheduled flights on Vatsim when a controller sent me a message telling me that for my airline my code should be NGE to be the same as the realworld airline. As I was using ANGELAIR01 as my callsign which is not very professional. Any help would be great. Thanks Scott

This one is getting pretty difficult for me to understand. I am wanting to have a table to show on my site that displays the airline logo instead of the airline name in it. I have the airline logos named as the 2 digit IATA code the same way my airlines are named as well (ex: Southwest= WN, Delta= DL)and they are all .gif images. Is there an easy way to pull this off?

No biggie, but....I noticed that when I added an airline in the admin panel, it would not fit the entire airline name. I was using "Eastern Pacific Virtual Airways", but it dropped the "s" in airways. So I assume it is only allowed a 30 character limit!?

As the BAe 146 Virtual Pilots Association is entirely devoted to the BAe 146. We have realized the 146 has been operated by a massive range of airlines. However instead of adding every airline into the PHPVMS database i would like pilots to be able to simply put their airline flown in the "Comments/remarks" field in KAcars or which ever logging system they prefer. On my home page i currently have a Latest Flights board (an image has been attached to the post). I would like it to display the airline they have flown by gathering what they have put in the "comments/Remarks" field of their flight. for example i may fly from EGBB to LFPG with British Airways, so i would put in…

Over the last couple of days I have been building up my schedules data base. After uploading this new data base to the system and checking it all against the website search functions and showing correctly installed the next day when I went to the search functions I wasn't able to search any schedules. I re imported my schedules to see if that resolved the issue, however during the upload it says airline codes do not exist? So I went to check the airlines list and that is now completely blank....
