I have a member of staff who is purely admin and does not fly. Is there a way apart from them filing a false PIREP, to stop the notification email being sent and the system to not recognise they have not done a flight without impacting on the rest of the members? I have had a search and could not find anything. Thanks in advance

Hello all! I installed PHPvms and I added a .cvs file full of airports - 37,590 to be exact! I could add schedules and added 49, then suddenly I got this issue: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 8968127 bytes) in /home/flyourwo/public_html/core/classes/CodonCache.class.php on line 202 How do I fix this and what is the problem? On line 202, it says the following: $value = serialize($value);

I'm thinking of making a map of flights for the pilots can see destinations to fly more graphically. Something like this: http://viajaraargentina.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/ruta-aerolineas-argentinas1.jpg It would be a bitmap image mapped with coordinates that when you click on a city to return all available flights to that destination. The problem is that the link schedules/view, destinations are not filter for airoport, shows all. On our site the link is http://newaps2012.com.ar/index.php/schedules/view It should be something like "http://newaps2012.com.ar/index.php/schedules/view = KJFK" or something, but can not find the right way of putting it. Good Day. We have ACARS running on version 5.4.3. Our ISP have just upgraded their site to handle PHP version 5.4.4, and now we are experiencing compatibility problems. Any chance that you will be upgrading to 5.4.4 in the near future? We have spent a fair amount of money on add-ons based on the PHP system, and have a large ACARS logging data base on the PHP VMS system that looks like it is all going to go pear shaped if something does not happen. I would appreciate your comments.

Is anyone using phpVMS in a military VA environment? I'm looking at quite a bit of customization and trying to make a decision as to whether it's worth the extra effort. While phpVMS looks like an excellent program for a civilian airline it does not provide for the kind of freeform route structure required by the military (any airport to any airport); a rank structure based on merit, not flight hours; pay has no real meaning; etc. A helpful pointer to a really good military admin program that will run on a Windows server (even payware) would be very much appreciated! 1. I want to create a group for deleted pilots so that they they are treated just like a guest, but so that I've got records of the flights etc, so what would the code be for the group in the PilotData.class.php ? 2. My PDF documents won't load via the links in the pilot centre. Just reuploaded them all, which took away the error about them being damaged, but now they don't load. Any ideas? 3. Some pilots are still getting the inactive login notice. However, I changed the php so that they'd be able to login to access the Pilot Centre, but it's not working. Any ideas?

Dear members i am using similot 5.5x version and on schedules page it shows all the schedules without even searching i wanted it to display the schedule only once searched for it can anyone please help. i already tried simpilot frontschedule module it is not working it shows no route found. thanks

I am attempting to create a test environment in order to make some website changes/testing without affecting the production environment. Is there a good way of copying the production environment into a test environment. I installed a fresh copy of phpvms and overwrote most of the files, but doesn't seem to bring all the formatting over properly. Thanks!

Personnel installed the skin lance and after 3 months I saw this error : "Fatal error: 'break' not in the 'loop' or 'switch' context in /home/u928397390/public_html/admin/modules/Pilotmanager/Pilotmanager.php on line 73" No changes were made, I just can not access the admin page. Hi, Thanks for the new update. It is really great and adds to the reality. I have one problem though, the pilot roster under pilots doesn't show the list of pilots up? Is there something I should do? Hi Folks. I hope everyone is having a great new year! I'm sorry if this has been asked before but I can't find anything during a search. If I have a flight scheduled say from New York to London, but I want different aircraft types to fly it (i.e., 747, 767, 777, etc.) do I have to create different flights for each aircraft or is there a way to setup one schedule and choose between allowed aircraft? I need help with Pilot Id's in PHPVMS. I want the pilot ids to be in the following format 10000 10001 10002 ..........And soo on... I have tried by changing the pilot id's manualy and keeping the Config::Set('PILOTID_LENGTH', 4); # Length of the Pilot ID "4" but than the new member gets 1002 instead of 10002 when i do it to Config::Set('PILOTID_LENGTH', 5); # Length of the Pilot ID "5" it gives 01002 instead of 10002 So can you guys help me please ? So, I've hit on an unusual issue that has occurred as a result of having to rebuild my VA. My hosts 123REG, made a major stuff up and deleted a load of servers including ours. We've rebuilt it from a backup image but we've got a few odd things going on now. First and most important is that our pireps are now not recording anything in the "log" field of the pireps table in the database. I wondered if it could be to do with Smartcars but that is recording the details just fine and I've checked their scripts and they are all good and as they should be. I've checked to see if there are any errors being logged but there aren't. I'm not really sure what to check next. Can an…

Hi all - new to the forums and phpVMS. Me and a friend are really excited about finding this software and we're pouring our heart and soul into starting up a VA over the next few months or so. I have questions of course, most of which I've been able to find the answers to, or with a little bit of experimenting, figured out myself. I do have one though (I've tried searching) - When a new pilot signs up to the website they automatically get a pilot's ID - is there a way to disable this? I think personally they should only get a pilot's ID once they've been activated by the site admins. If I've missed something, or there's an add-on that does this I would be really inter…

How do you guys handle website development with an active site? Do you have another domain, or sub-domain. Or is running a local server such as easyphp the best way to do that. My site is up and running fine, however I am wanting to develop a wider skin and don't want to risk messing something up at my main site.

Hi, I've added a custom PIREP field so my pilots can record the number of points they get following each flight however I'm not sure how to display this in the Pilot Center as part of their profiles...any ideas? I've tried the Custom Profile Field option however this doesnt appear on the PIREP so not quite what I'm looking for :-) Any help is appreciated!

Hello I have a tiny problem when changing a pilots ID on my phpvms site. I know about the off set of 0. So when I try to change an ID to 301 I get 0301 is there any way to make it so it changes to 301 with no offset. Thanks Icebox

Hello! When I downloaded the "update.zip" it also includes files that are not updated (not mentioned in the changelog), so if I upload all these files it will also overwrite files that are modified by me, for example, most of the templates and so on. So it is quite hard work to get everything to work in correct way again. Also when doing this "restore" operation I may also accidentally overwrite some new flies with older backup files, in order to get the site to look like it used to be before the update.
