A lot of work has been put into the financial part of PHPVMS 7. This tells me that there are several airlines that must be using such systems. Id like to get some ideas as to how people use this information, for example, pilots earn pay, has anyone come up with some way to let pilots use their salary?

Hi all, I try to do my first database backup today, before this rely on hosting automatic backup, but maybe unreliable and take long time when ask them to restore. However phpmyadmin backup function failed, and support advise to use SSH. The final sql file is over 14GB and nearly took down server. Reason give is cpanel resources exhausted. Is this normal size or every time I do back up the site is is error 503 for almost everyone?

Hello everyone. I've purchased phpvmsacars and implemented it in my future VA. Since I would love to give to mac users on xplane the chance to subscribe and join my VA, I want to implement also xacars but it seems that the developer stop the project and the website xacars.net is down and no more mainteined. I have xacars client 2.5.6 from another VA but I miss server side implemetation files and readme/manual on how to do it. Is there someone by chance that has those files and could eventually share them along with a readme on how to implement it? Or, is there another way to support also mac users? This is one of the major 'headaches' if you want to use the financials of PHPVMS as there are so many factors in the real world that affect ticket prices . In the Virtual airline world I think we try to keep things as simple as possible unless you really want to copy a real world airline 100%. So how do you work out your fares for the flights in your schedule to be a 'reasonable amount'. Hi guys Have setup my subfleet, fares, flights and added a B738, on the Fleet page it says Aircraft 0, and if I enter a manual pirep, it wont allow me to enter the aircraft. I assume although I have the aircraft in the fleet, I haven't actually bought one?

I am getting ready to take my phpVMS website live to replace my older VAM powered one. Question is, is there a way for me to enter my pilots transferred hours so they show as flight time and not transferred hours? Like manually editing the total in the database? Or possibly filing a manual PIREP with all the transferred hours? I'm just looking for a way for them to show up in a pilots hours, and not have it be listed under transferred hours. Hello, after i have uploaded my fleet in cvs file the aircraft has no location yet. But if I manual add an aircraft I can choose its location and this is going to take along time is there a work around? Thanks Jerry

PHPVMS V7 has a nice import feature from csv files but it seems there are considerable differences between the csv files and what you would input on the screen. Does anybody know the reason for this such as the Subfleet table has these fields in the csv but you do not input them all on the screen those marked with xxxx are input on the screen airline,type,name,fuel_type,cost_block_hour,cost_delay_minute,ground_handling_multiplier,cargo_capacity,fuel_capacity,gross_weight,fares The others are not input when adding a new Subfleet two inputs MAIN HUB and SIMBRIEF TYPE are available for input but do not show on the csv so that's 6 fields that are…

Hello, If anyone may be able to help with this issue then that would be greatly appreciated. So as for the issue we have Recaptcha working but some bots/spam users keep registering with the same email types from russia. Emails that keep signing up: @dizaer.ru @yandex.com Ive also attached an image showing that our recaptcha is indeed working, but all the green passes in the image are the spambots. So these bots are either able to get through the tests or they are not actually bots and its people just spamming the site. Hi Guys Not used PHPVms for a long time, but decided to give it a try and again. Am I right in saying that if I want ACARS with point scoring, I need to pay £45 for the software? Or I can use vmsAcars 7.0 free download to just record basic flight information with no point scoring?

Hi everyone. I was wondering if there could be a way to ad a "time factor" to the financial system. For example: If you leave the airplane on an airport that isn't your hub instead of flying back. The longer the airplane will stay at this airport, the more parking fees you'll have to pay for it. Does anyone know how we could set up this?

Hi all, We are very new to this system, our current system is on VAM which is now unsupported by the original developer. So we were looking to build a new site to move too over the next few months. I setup hosting and installed phpVMS, I used the vs7 from the developer and also purchased the Acars module. I have now had a few comments saying that we should use phpVMS v5 as that is the current software. Most of you have been around here for a while so should we push on with 7 or drop back to 5. best wishes Doug

Hi all, I have added a skin to our phpVMS v7 site and it works. But is there a simple way to change colours and images to fit our airline. DO you use an application ?? I can see colour codes in the files but where do they come from. I am completely new at this last time I made a website you could use MS Publisher to make pages, LOL regards Doug

Hi everyone. As far as I know we have the ability to set the fares by flight or by a specific subfleet. I´m still using VAM until we can switch to phpvms7 and there I´ve implemented a formula like "(PAX) x (Distance) x (specific variable)" for those flights that aren´t schedule flights. That means, that a pilot that would like to do a charter flight to a destination that isn´t a regular one can do it and the comoany still will have benefit from that flight aplying that formula. Firstly, great to see this integrated in the core product for phpVMS7 - couple of queries however... I've installed this to test out for a future launch of a new VA so to test I have a single route with a single sub-fleet which is assigned to that route. However on the Simbrief form, the aircraft type still needs to be selected. Would it be possible to have that default to the appropriate sub-fleet type (or first sub-fleet type if multiple assigned to a route)? Additionally, rather than editing the simbrief_form.blade.php template to change the default unit of weight, can this be called from the config setting so that future overwrites during u…

I have four subfleets A320-200 B738-800 A350-900 B787-10 In each Flight that I register, I assign the four subfleets. Then I export the Flights in CSV to see how the table looks and I observe that it only assigns one subfleets. The other Fleets he placed inside custom fields and fares
