Hello. I have been slowly poking away at trying to setup a website for a new VA utilizing phpVMS and after having made a dent I'm concerned I've taken the wrong approach. I have rudimentary knowledge of web development. I've poked around at some basic HTML/CSS udemys and things of that nature. I have some friends who are software engineers and web developers who understand all of this stuff, and one of them has helped me with an initial setup, but I don't want to be presumptuous and take advantage of them by pressing them to hold my hand. Hello! I develop ACARS for phpVMS 7 with Visual C# WPF, and I have some problem by collect X-API-KEY. I was try to use Laravel Passport(aka oAuth module), But phpVMS API's are linked with X-API-KEY so It's very difficult to migration with phpVMS 7. Now I try to use Webbrowser for login, and parse html source for collect X-API-KEY. If you login with ID and password in phpVMS 7, You can see your X-API-KEY in html source, So I decide to make with this source. but Webpage's UI is different with ACARS program's UI, and I have many problem for design our UI when I get API-KEY with this solution. Good day, it would be a good idea to have a box to specify that the aircraft in question is a helicopter, and that on the map appeared as such, not how viable it would be to apply it to the system.

I know there there is an option in phpVMS 5.5 to make pilots Active, Inactive, Retired, or Banned. Is there a way to Hide Pilots? I know a lot of admins have rules where pilots have to fly their first flight in 7, 14, 30, etc... first flight, and they hate having those 0 flights on the Pilot Roster. And have 30, 60, and 90 for inactive. But since you already went through the process of approving them, maybe they could not make the 7 day rule and they return not too far in the distant future ready to fly often. Or maybe you have someone fly 30 flights in a month and not come back for 6 month's, you want their data, but not them on the Pilot Roster, unless they are flying e…

Hi, im looking for a host to run a few separate instances of phpvms + Wordpress websites. my requirements: 4 Crew Centers 2 live phpvms 5.5.x 1 live phpvms 7 1 beta testing phpvms 7 currently all these are individually hosted, we would like to share a hosting solution. can anyone recommend a good host that will work with phpvms? Most have long contracts so I don’t want to make the wrong choice

Hi all, I have added a skin to our phpVMS v7 site and it works. But is there a simple way to change colours and images to fit our airline. DO you use an application ?? I can see colour codes in the files but where do they come from. I am completely new at this last time I made a website you could use MS Publisher to make pages, LOL regards Doug

I try running the installer and I get this error: "SQLSTATE[42S02]: Base table or view not found: 1146 Table 'u122878635_users.users' doesn't exist (SQL: select * from `users` order by `created_at` desc limit 4)" I assume it's because theres not specific database in the u122878635_users But then I try to go make one but it need how many columns I want and such.

Given that one of the hardest jobs in setting up a virtual airline is sorting out schedules that work well , alongside the subfleet and aircraft to fly the routes. Now if you have MSFS 2020 and the FS_TRAFFIC add-on it comes with a good set of schedules that you can copy and use with some coding to make all the data for your airline. When you create ranks, there is an option for "image link". Does anyone know the correct format to put here. I have looked through other files and tried to follow the url format for that image. I created a "ranks" folder inside phpvms/public/assets which I have several .png files. I have tried different combos of linking the image like (../ranks/ /phpvms/public/assets/ranks/ ) and many others with no luck. Will this new system accept png? Are the images for this suppose to show up in the profile page of pilot or somewhere else? Thank you for any help!

So I was using a 3rd party module for the installer, I decided to scrap it and just write it fresh from scratch. If you download the new nightly tarball, you should be able to just extract it, and then go to /install. Right now, it will create the database files, and then load the default "dev" data. Eventually it'll have the final step of creating the first user and stuff, but for now I just want to get the DB install stuff working. If you have issues, zip up the files in the storage/logs folders and add them to a post so I can take a look. I'm working on a solution for /public as well on shared hosts, so if you want to help test that, let me know as well.

I have been trying to get the ACARS for phpVMS 7, the hosting site does not respond to my request. I have tons of issues with downloading data as CSV or uploading CSV, my email notifications do not work and when I try to oder acars app I keep getting that my email is not verified which I have done. Is there ANYBODY that can help me out. Thanks in advance, Gerald S.

Changing a Pilot's ID using the new phpVMS 7 Changing pilot's default ID's is something which we need to be able to do, to easily manage our phpVMS system and subsequent flight logging system. When a pilot joins the VA, they are assigned a Callsign (which will be the same as their ID on our phpVMS webpage) and once they were registered on our phpVMS 5 website we could quite easily change their IDs to the one they have been assigned. This helped when it came to identifying pilots and dealing with promotions. I am wondering whether anyone may be thinking of producing a widget/addon to do this. First off should I ask these type questions here or in the Off Top Bantor area? I think since they are related to phpVMS 7 & Laravel this will be alright, but let me know if I am wrong. hello everyone, I just met this system and tried to install it on my site. I use Altervista. I would like to use your system but only using the manual Pirep sending function, because my idea is to create a virtual airline for pilots who use xbox. phpVMS 7 beta 3 seemed to work but I couldn't open the manual Pirep submission page, but i don't know why! therefore, is it possible that you make a "light" version without the ACARS application? thanks for all.

First of all I have to say PHPVMS 7 is such a huge leap forward, I cant help but be excited. Coming from 5.5 this is a huge breath of fresh air. Seems like many features previously requiring heavy mods are now native to phpvms, which is great. One thing that appears to be missing is the ability to limit Route types to a certain rank. My airline is one of many which operates in such fashion, rather than limit aircraft to a certain rank, we limit the distance the pilots can fly. Would this be a desirable feature to be implemented in phpvms?
