Hi all, I'm very very new to this and have only limited knowledge of HTML, PHP, JavaScript,... and have only been at this since a day or two... I'm trying to add a slideshow to my homepage. I've used many before on standard HTML pages and they all worked fine, but no matter what I try, I seem to get stuck here. In stead of seeing a nice fading result, it just places all the images I specified below each other. Can anyone clarify, or give a useful tip as to where I can find a solution for this problem? In My Schedule_Briefing.tpl file, I am wondering if it is possible to get rid of the two charts that appear, and make them links only? I mean I obviously see the links to go to Airnav. I want to get rid of the charts due to the skinny template I am using. The 2 charts side by side REALLY bust up my template bad. If I can not make links that say "Click here to view charts" I am sure one chart under the other would be fine.

I have some problems with my skinning. #1 For some reason, the pilots list, claims that everyone joined the 1st of January 1970 - any fix for this? Code: <td align=center><?php echo date(DATE_FORMAT, strtotime($userinfo->joindate)); ?></td> I have "d M Y" set in the Admin Center. #2 I'd like to replace the default navigation bar, with something custom, I managed to remove the buttons themself, but not the navigation bar in itself, to be replaced. Is any body else totally Fu%$ed off with IE, the way it renders stuff is nothing like FF or Chrome. Just thought id have a rant because i have spent all morning tinkering with my css to get it to look right in all 3 browsers.... God damn Microsoft! Back to business now

Found the original Obsess Blue and trying to modify it for my site with phpVMS. When I test it in Dreamweaver it looks like this: http://www.jacobslistings.com/va/lib/skins/ObsessBlue10/index.html But when I upload it to the va it loses the styling: http://jacobslistings.com/va/index.php/Frontpage Here is the original template: http://www.jacobslistings.com/va/lib/skins/ObsessBlueOriginal/index.html Any ideas what I am doing wrong? I have created a module called FlightBoards.php and a template called flight_boards.php. I have managed to set it so that a link appears on my page and when clicked, it takes you to the FlightBoards page that displays flight_boards.php content. What I want to do is to get rid of the link and just have the flight_boards.php content show directly in the page without needing to click on a link. So far, the code I've used to create the link is: http://<a href="<?php echo url('/FlightBoards'); ?>">Flightboards</a> My question - what would be the code needed to call the content directly into the page without needing a link? i have managed to install PHPVMS and have it running. However after getting it to run i realized that my install doesnt look like the ones i saw on the tutorial videos. When i go to my domain it is just text, there is no admin panel, no search bar, nothing. first pic shows what i was expecting it to look like, second pic shows what it looks like when i installed. I believe it is a problem with the CSS, Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Dear Forum members now its been few days i have been watching phpvms forums to see how things work here so finally i decided to make my own skin from scratch i have bit knowledge of codes but not full expert i need help in making this skin so first of all you guys should know what is my plan what kind of template i am making so you can assist me here is the rough sketch or idea of my template. now please help in in coding this the main problem which i have is to adjust sidebars and also i want to keep in mind that i only want to show my sidebars on front page not on all of the pages so please suggest me what should i do from where i can start. I really want to give my new Virtual Airline Link Airways a "personal feel" I think the look of the website is very important therefore I need a personalized website. The only problem is I don't have any money so if anyone will design one for free or will give me help to design a site would be greatful. Hello all, Currently working on a skin for the phpVMS admin panel for a virtual airline I'm staff on. Once complete I'll probably release it if there's interest for it. Also avaliable to customise this for your virtual airline and change anything, pm me if interested. Here's a preview of the new navbar which replaces the default sidebar (I'll be adding more images as I progress with this) Feedback would be appreciated

I am having trouble with a template skin I am using for phpvms. Everything appears to work alright (still have alot of work to do) except when I click on View Details in the Schedule Info it shifts the entire template to the left side of the screen. http://02de367.netsolhost.com/phpvms/index.php/Frontpage Still have to get the permanent domain name and get the airports and schedules finished along with awards etc... but I like the way the template I choose is taking on the text color etc... for all the items in phpvms. Hi, Anyone tell me how I can stop the Newfront from showing underneath every page you visit in the ObsessBlue skin? The echo page content is there as well as the show newsfront, but if I remove the shownews front, the news doesnt show at all when going to the home page. Thanks in advance, Graham
