Searched in the forums but couldnt find anything on this topic. On live map everything works great but all the planes point in a SE direction no matter what. Same on the vacentral livemap too. Any suggestions?

Hi guys, i have a problem. Hello, I'm re-asking for help because after the first post nobody answer me. I'm trying to get a VA online, I have ehost as hosting, uploading phpvms via cyberduck after creating a database, just following the manual instruction. When i paste the install.php URL in my browser, error 500 shows up, i've tried to delete the .htaccess file but nothing has changed. I've also contacted ghost support but they answer me they don't give support for third party. Could someone please help me?

G'day Guys, I have been trying to get my new drop down menu working for my site, I've spent quite a few hours on this, but am getting nowhere. Some help would be very greatly appreciated, to point my back in the right track menu here: http://qantasvirtual.com/dev/ if you need to take a look at the coding, just let me know and ill chuck it up. I am unsure why the footer has moved to its current position. what i am aiming for is to get the pilot center to display under crew when logged in, and not be there if a user isnt logged in. Cheers

G'day Guys, I have recently appointed a dev guy within my VA, and I'm trying to allow him access to the dev site to work. Currently i have setup the account so he can access the files, but he can also access the local.config.php, and other sensitive files that contain passwords and information i don't want him to get at, how can i prevent him from accessing these files ? i have tried the permissions but that doesn't seem to stop the account. I setup the ftp account through my host's cpanel option. I can see that i can password protect a directory, but why not a file ? I'm not sure you guys have done this before but if someone has, any help would be great. Cheers Tylo…

Just a quick question guys regarding the flight times in the route set up. A little background. helping start new VA exclusive to Xplane. I've started uploading routes via the template csv file which is very nice. I have a quiestion regarding how you set up the flight times. Example. flight number xxxx takes off in the eastern time zone and lands in the pacific time zone. Do my dep times and arr times have to reflect the zone change in zulu. Or is there a way i can just stick with Zulu in my flight time and is the correct tab 00:00Z in my template. My mind is not wrapping around this. Second question. Does Xplane's IN SIM time have to reflect the Z time on the boarding …

Hi, we are only using the database and Admin Panel from phpvms and designed our own structure for the user interface. Because of this the link in vaCentral doesn't direct the visitor to our homepage as you have to enter the main phpvms installation path. My question is, if I can put a normal redirect into the frontpage_main.tpl so that visitors will automatically get redirected to our main page when visting http://skyline-va.de/phpvms ? Or will this mess up communication with kAcars or vaCentral? -Lauritz

Hey guys, I am glad to say after a stint away that I was able to bring my VA back with a pretty reliable host. I don't have a single complaint with it at all, except for the registration form is not working for some people (me as well). I know this is a very common topic here so I made sure and read as much about it as I could before posting this. Im sure this has already been answered but I could not find anything related, within the recent past.... Is it possible to make custom profile fields required before successfully allowing the application to be submitted? I have the questions showing up on the application but people are only filling out the main required questions and leaving our other fields empty....makes for a blank profile since they dont fill the info in. Is there a way to address the issue? possibly make all fields required? Thank you and sorry if I am bringing up old posts...

A few days ago, I started customizing the bid layout, but I have a question. How can I map the route? I am using the Simpilots Group Schedule Search. When I try to search for a flight, I get No Routes found. I believe it is because in the Schedule Search, "Select an Aircraft Type" drop down menu, does not show aircraft, even though in they are in the data base (Admin Center Add Edit Fleet) and all are active.

Hello phpVMS community, I haven't been able to find a solution yet for this error, so I'll see if it's appropriate to start it as a new one. On my schedules, there are a bunch of strict standards when finding flights causing pilots unable to get to bid on flights to fly for us. You can kind of figure out that it's an issue. Hi, actually in my phpvms v2.1.936 I have this code: schedule_briefing.tpl <!-- Flight time Row --> <tr> <td colspan="2"><?php echo $schedule->arrtime - $schedule->deptime ?></td> </tr> But this code not show minutes, only hours, so if I have arr time = 12:59 and dep time = 09:00 the result is 3hours, not 3:59 hours.
