Hello, I'm having a little trouble with the profiles. I recently changed the pilot IDs to 00# instead of 000# but it seems mainly the signature for the first/admin account. It's showing my hub as KJFK but I don't even have that airport any more. It's also saying on the signature image that my pilot ID is 0001. I've tried resetting the signatures with the maintenance call but it's still the same, ID is 0001 and hub is KJFK. Any ideas guys? Thanks.

Hi, I am having a problem trying to get phpvms to install I keep geting this error message Fatal error: Class 'DB' not found in jas/core/common/SettingsData.class.php on line 28 and was wondering if anyone has encounted this problem before and if so what the solution is. Thanks in advance.

Hello there, I was wondering how to create html pages that use the layout template and that do not need to be edited by the system and the editor inside Admin Panel, but rather via HTML. I'll explain why because you may think that I'm trying to cheat the system, or I'm bollocking the product. The product is in fact very fantastic and functional, yet I find that remaking pages everytime you reinstall phpVMS (happens to me quite often, as I'm developing) is quite annoying, because you lose your pages. It would be nice if there would be a way to create pages and link them to the menu. I would appreciate any tips. Thanks, HighFlyer

Hi there, in the local_config.php there is the option to automatically set users inactive if not active. Mine is set for true -60 days. However, it does not set any pilot inactive at all. My code as it is now: # After how long to mark a pilot inactive, in days Config::Set('PILOT_AUTO_RETIRE', true); Config::Set('PILOT_INACTIVE_TIME', 60); If someone can maybe direct me to the solution for this, i will appreciate it! Saw a posting in the forum from a year ago about a new Flight Booking System. Emailed the creator but got no response. Has anybody tried it, and how happy are you with it? We like the idea of making pilots depart from the airport they last landed at, but the zip file we downloaded would be more helpful if it had install instructions with it. It say in the posting to create an SQL table. A what? I'm lost right there....

Hi there, I have created a new group named Commanding Officers, and I gave the following access: ACCESS_ADMIN MODERATE_PIREP The idea is to have the group have acces to approve pireps, but nothing else. I also have a test account added to the group, but the admin page is not showing up at all. Do I miss some settings perhaps? I got phpvms working on my home server useing windows server 2003 running lls system. Have php 5.2 installed with phpmyadmin thats all. Theres no errors that show up. Anything like that is it im missing something or what. but you can click any page but it sits at index.php http://deltaairva.net Changed OS from Windows Server 2003 To a linux Software. and It works perfect.

It was the seting in my php.ini file forgot the defalt time zone there hehehe. fun stuff with home server lol.

Do you guys use google chrome and whenever you go editing a news with many formatting, then your chrome gets frozed up. That doesn't happen to firefox as well. I'm thinking the text editor doesn't like Google Chrome?

Hello everybody. I have a little problem. I changed the latitude and longtitude in the local.config of the map,but th map map always shows the same place. I would like to center it for frankfurt(germany),but it still shows the united states. Regards

I have this strange issue with logging in that I am still trying to troubleshoot. If you are logged in and have it set to keep you logged in, it works perfectly fine... Until you close the browser window or tab for the site completely. When you re-open the page, it says you still have to login and acts like you are not... THEN, when you click to login, it says you are already logged in and goes back to working normal. I haven't thoroughly investigated this, but from the looks of it there is a session or cookie reading issue between the application and the templates. Has anyone else experienced this, and/or is there a fix for this?

HI, I added a few new pages via the admin page then all the info I wanted about the hub was also added. when I went to view it all I got was a blank page with the writing on, no background or skin layout. So then I went to link the css sheet to each page via cpanel editor, then all I got was the back ground image no skin layout or writing. I cannot seem to get both of them together, it appears as if it is not reading the skin layout and not displaying correctly. I want to add 6 pages showing detail's of the hubs and the pilots. In my Admin section, under Reports & Expenses, Overview. The data displayed, over what time period is this based? Second, when we compute our income and expenses, we use 80 cents per mile per seat for income (or 3 cents per pound/mi for cargo flights), fuel at $1.50/kg and operating expenses at 15%. My question is, is there a standard we are supposed to be following? Thanks!

Hey, I need some help here dealing with multiple parameters code. I have 6 retired status, but I want to look for pilots who has a status of 2 and 4 together I tried the following but not a success $params = array('retired' => 2,4); $params = array('retired' => 2 AND 4); Hopefully someone can help me to achieve that. Hey, so I do still have the registration problem, but it still goes through. But i had a problem with flight schedules when I added a bid it said, "No route passed' So i took out: <script type='text/javascript' src='<?php echo SITE_URL?>/lib/skins/sleekv1/js/custom.js'></script> <script type='text/javascript' src='<?php echo SITE_URL?>/lib/skins/sleekv1/js/jquery-1.2.6.min.js'></script> And now i can add a flight bid, but I cant see them when I click my flight bids, All i see is "No bids on any flights" and now the 7 scheduels i made arent there because i bidded on them... any help?

When adding airports, phpvms stalls. Is this due to the attack on the server? Also attachments have disappeared from posts on the forums, is this also due to the attack? Should I ask the devs to reupload their files or will the backup take care of it?

Hello, Is there a way to change the maps from Google to Bing Maps? I've been searching in the 'acarsmap.tpl'. Two questions: First, the fuel is being calculated at $5.1 per kg on all our pireps. Is this because of the ongoing issues? Seems like it should be $1.5 for a more accurate price (at 3 kg per gallon that would be $4.50/gal). Either that or it's reporting $5.1 per gallon instead of kg. Second, when you edit the pirep there is a block for expenses (Additional expenses for this flight (catering, cleaning, etc). Where do I enter this data for each aircraft type so it is automatically calculated? Thanks!

I've been running phpvms for about 2 years now for Buffalo Airways Virtual, last week our account was suspended as we were using over 25% of the RAM on the whole server! The web host said that there may be too many querys going to the database, the database for phpvms is over 170mb! What would I have to do to disable some querys? Would compressing and re-indexing the database make us use less of the server? If yes, do you know how I can do this? This is the first time we have used over our 5% allocated RAM space in 2 years.
