Hello everyone. I have the cron job setup to run once a week on my site to do all the maintenance and when it runs, it resets the flights count on pilot roster and public profiles and in pilot center to 0. I found this in the maintenance.php file : MainController::Run('Maintenance', 'resetpirepcount'); MainController::Run('Maintenance', 'resethours'); Is it safe to say that I can get rid of the resetpirepcount part to stop this from happening? I get LOADS of inquirys every week as to why their flight count is 0 again. I tell them it is the cron job but in their eyes we do not know what we are doing and a few have left over this already. Quick question... Not exactly phpVMS related in itself, but.... Someone has copied my site. They have taken the source from each and every page, changed the wording (in some cases, word) and my images are shown, as well as the website being identical apart from having different member names, pireps etc. It actually looks, to me, like they have downloaded the whole directory from /home upwards and uploaded it onto their server. Now, correct me if i'm wrong, but this is an absolute disgrace, i've spent hours, probably hundreds of hours making, designing, editing, coding, you name it, with it, and i refuse to let some thieving scum take advantage of it. ...which leaves m…

Hello everybody I hope this topic will find you well, After 1 year of working with version 2.1.936 i've noticed there is another version ofr phpvms.updated.zip Version 2.1.938 well i checked the forum how the process must be done. As well i complied with the instructions but something attract my attention, that the /install/update.php asked me for Force update i did, the job done without any error when i visited the admin, i notified that the current version still 936 not Upgraded ??? Any suggestions ??? Tnx

Ok I got an issue with downloads. I have one site using Eddies Blue Ice theme and another using my own bootstrap theme and any time I click on downloads, it gets stuck in a refresh loop. Eddie and I came to the conclusion that it was my custom slider. Moving forward. Now on to my own theme that I made, i had the same problem. Click the download an get stuck in a refresh loop. Once again, I thought it had to be my slider or something my template related. So I switched back to the crystal template and what do you know, a refresh loop on download. Fast forward to today after i got good and ripe over this and I installed a FRESH vanilla (nothing extra installed, out of the …

Hey i have a quick question after watching that video tutorial...within the template folder what other files do i need to have, i see he has like , login_form, pilots_list, profile_main and so on, is it just whatever you edit you need in your template folder or are there specific files...If so what exact files do we need to put in there cause right now i have everything running from where they are, and my template is just calling them in...couple more questions... Is the way i have it set up bad... Hey guys. I got a guy to do a little temporary site for me while simpilot was skinning my real site. The guy set up vms so that it logs in with pilot id instead of email address and he told me to contact him before I update so he could do something another. simpilot finished my skin and gave it to me to upload but before I uploaded it I figured why not update. I updated then uploaded the skin but now the login wont worth. Niether pilot id nor email address. simpilot seems to be a bit busy and I cant get in touch with the other guy so could someone help me fix this?

Hi Guys, After fixing the other issue I had with aligning things up, I notice this now and I can't seem to fix it, no matter what I do. Would this be a CSS issue ? Any ideas ? The arrow ain't doing much I know .. lol but ALL of the left hand info is sitting right on the left border. I dont know how to creat <div>'s so I got nothing on the right side, all this content is shown vertically on the frontpage, but thats a seperat question. lol Thanks in advance for any assistance. Hi my Va has the David Clark Tour 1.3 Module. We would like to edit this so a tour can be made that does not require the arrival ICAO to be the next depature ICAO on the tour legs. Can this be done. We have the site a few years and recently starting to learn PHP Code. Thanks Gearoid

I just incorporated two downloads in to my website using the download option in the admin panel. The first link is a word document and works fine, the download appears immediately. The listed URL is: http://www.civilvirtualairtransport.com/lib/missions/louisvillepickup/louisvillepickup.docx The second link is a FS9 flight plan (.PLN) but does not work. It is in the exact same folder and destination the .docx file but an error message appears and says the link is invalid. http://www.civilvirtualairtransport.com/lib/missions/louisvillepickup/louisvillepickup.pln Is there a problem with the file type (a .pln) file? I know the url is correct...any suggestions?

Hi Wondering if AIRAC updates are progressing any further (Ref. Hosting and Navdata Updates ) Around our neighbourhood the airways and fixes has changed a lot since the first version and we hope to se an update able airac soon so we can easily keep it updated. Uptil now we have been updating some fixes ourself but its not the best solution. Thank you Jan Tore

Hi, we are only using the database and Admin Panel from phpvms and designed our own structure for the user interface. Because of this the link in vaCentral doesn't direct the visitor to our homepage as you have to enter the main phpvms installation path. My question is, if I can put a normal redirect into the frontpage_main.tpl so that visitors will automatically get redirected to our main page when visting http://skyline-va.de/phpvms ? Or will this mess up communication with kAcars or vaCentral? -Lauritz

Hi all. I was wondering if a news item could have its own view/page? For instance: va-domain.com/news/1, va-domain.com/news/322, etc What for? Have the possiblity to show more content, have each news item marked as "Like" on Facebook or shared on other social networks, etc.

The minimum image size is 5 pixels(w)11 pixels(h) tp a maximum of 44(w) to 11 (h). tried gig,jepg and png. There located in a webfolder on my system...not located in the phpvms folder..as there is no instructions for novas Phpvms assumes everyone knows php. I am curious..... Is it possible to make it pay per minute? Or after an hour go to pay per minute maybe? Example. I just did a flight that was 1hr 57 minutes. It paid me for 1 hour. Kind of bogus since I was 3 minutes shy of 2 hours. Can you see why I ask this? I kind of just donated an hour of time for free. Not that it matters. The pilot pay is kind of useless right now anyhow on my setup. Now I could see if my flight was an hour and 3 or 4 or even 15 minutes to only get an hours pay, but 3 minutes shy of 2 hours and only get 1 hour pay? This got brought up to me by another pilot and I really never paid attention since the pilot pay does not matter to me. I am looking…
