Hello, I would like to install phpvms on a Debian 9 server with PHP7 and I am a little lost with the versions of PHPVMS Which version would you recommend installing? PHPVMS 2 or PHPVMS 4? If I install PHPVMS 2, will it be possible to migrate without loss of data to version 4? Thank you.

So, i just broke my whole install. I installed a duplicate copy in a "Crew" subdir so I can use the main dir as my home page website. Was going well with this HTML template but somehow, i broke the phpvms install. I probably didn't break it, but now i'm getting all kinds of errors where I wasn't before. So, im just going to start over.. A learning experience for sure!! For those of you just starting your airline or converting to phpVMS, this is not for the lighthearted. Was there an update or something? All of a sudden I cannot access my Admin page. Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator at webmaster@usvcg.org to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Quick question, I apologize if this has already been addressed, but I'm curious to know if I can reset the Pilot ID's to start back at 0002. I created two test pilots to see if the registration emails showed okay (which they did, yay), and I noticed it assigned the second test pilot 0003, even though I had deleted 0002. Any way? Alternatively, I can reassign these numbers to future members of staff, but will it re-use the numbers that it initially assigns them when they sign up? Thanks!

Hello, I want to know if I can know if the flight with ACARSData::get_flight($code, $flight_num), Is in flight or not, Beacuse in my code, I want to search some flight and check if the flight is in flight and get some details about the flight, I tried to do this one, $results = ACARSData::GetACARSData(); echo $results->aircraft; But it didn't give me noting, I already tought about the foreach option but i'm inside while and if i do the foreach it will change me something that I don't won't to change, And when I did this one: $results = ACARSData::get_flight($code, $flight_num), echo…

As you can see, when I enter the site the site gets all messed up, without css, with nothing. From what I saw is because of the scripts, this is saying that they are not safe, I do not know why, because I believe they are safe. The site looks all cute just if I click the blue "Done" button. Hi Folks, I am attempting to create a new group to have someone else access the schedules and look after them. I created a new group called Route Manager and gave them permissions for Airlines, Fleet, Schedules, Import and Access Admin on my test server. I then assigned this to a test user I have in the database to see how the changes would affect the end user. I am able to access the admin section and the flight ops area, however I cannot do anything with the links in the flight ops area. The flight ops section expands when you click on it and the links to the different templates are there but clicking on them does absolutely nothing. I already did a search of the for…

Hello, I'm creating a module where I would like a logged in pilot to view ONLY their info. I have based the module on the Roster module that has been referenced in the forums and tutorials (It's basically a copy of the Roster module showing extra columns that I added for different bank accounts). Is there a variable that returns the users id, like '$whoami' or '$myid'? Something that returns who is accessing the page so they only see their information. Hi all, I'm having an issue where only 2 aircraft are showing up on the ACARS map. I've spoken with the developer of the ACARS and he is unsure as to why this is happening - he has tried to fix it but he's out of options. The vms_acarsdata table is only populating 2, however on the ACARS Admin panel it does detect 4 people flying and it logs the PIREPs for all of them. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

How can I position the text for the boarding pass so that it will stay in place no matter what? I can do it now, but it's a adjusted to my screen size, and on my laaptop it's way off. Hi, I use a hosting service for my VA. I changed the password on one of the SQL databases. Now the site is crashed presumably because it cannot read the correct DB password. I'm told I need to change the password in the connection strings but I don't know which file(s) they are in. A tech helping me thought it might be the ezdb_mysql.class.php file, but editing that did not help. Can someone point this very nervous novice in the right direction...please... Many thanks, -Russ

Hi Everyone, I am new to phpVMS and love it so far. One problem I have is that our pilots don't normally fly scheduled flights. They just fly any where anytime. When it comes to manually submitting a pirep it always asks for flight numbers and wont let you enter dep ICAO and arr ICAO as it gets this from flight schedules. Is there a way that they can put in their own ICAO codes and Flight numbers etc to submit it ? Or has anyone done a module to do this ? Thanks in advance John

Hello, I am trying to use the Foundation 5 framework with phpVMS, but I keep getting some Javascript errors. I am currently using the frameowrk, but I took the javascript files out of the <head> tags so the website will function correctly. I am just curious if anyone else has had any compatability issues, and if you did, how did you fix it? I do not currently have the error codes from the console, but I can get them if needed. Thanks!

Hi, I've noticed that when vaCentral page is slow, my va homepage is also very slow and I am not able to get intro the admin panel. Also this phpvms forum seems to be very slow. Some pilots also mailed my, that they get connection errors inside kacars. I've checked the logs and contacted my hoster, they have no issus with their server. Is this a general problem? edit. I get bad gateway now in this forum

Hi, i have problems to edit expenses on admin panel after update to 930 following message appear: Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, 'Finance::editexpense1' was given in /home/xxxxxx/transpolar.cl/core/classes/MainController.class.php on line 218 I created a new expense and try to edit with same resoult. How can I change the update time for the live map? It updates properly during the flight and shows me landed, but after I submit the PIREP and finish, it still shows me on the live map for the rest of the day maybe longer. Help plz

Hi , I have added a schedule , but for some reason it doesn't show it , I have browsed the forum about it and changed the schedule result tpl file so that it reads "7" and "0" for Sunday but still no luck , it shows 20 schedules but not the ones I added today for Some reason , it might be a bug for Sunday ?? Even tho there are schedules can be flown on a Sunday and they show ? So confusing lol

Hi guys I have a problem with adding modules I follow the instructions to add the modules correct along with the sql but for some reason it comes up with an error saying the /public_html/en/core/templates/credits index.tpl doesnt exsist so when i look in filezilla it has that file as a php file so i change it to a tpl file and it works but in my admin centre where i can add edit and stuff for the module i just get this error credits/sidebar_credits.php and i can seem to fix it i have attached a screenshot aswell

Hi everyone, im very new to all this and I am having issues with the live flight tracker. I'm currently using the Ocean blue v2 skin, I have set up the API key so it works. But what I'm finding is when a route is in progress the departure and destination points are incorrect on the map, I have double checked the long and latitudes of the airports and they are correct. I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to look at or check, so if anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it Rob
