The live map on my site seems to always refresh every minute, but I'd like it to refresh every 30 seconds if possible. I've looked at the acarsmap.tpl and that still shows a default setting of 10000 (i.e.10 seconds), and the refreshTime in acarsmap.js is 6000. Changing either of the values appears to have no effect on the map refresh, which remains stubborn at a 1 minute interval. Any assistance to point out where I'm going wrong would be very much appreciated.

Gooday (again), I have searched the forums and found this topic a number of times, however, none of the solutions has worked for me. How can i get the actual route of the flight, shown on the ACARS map and myFlights map. Some information i have picked up from the previous threads is stuff to do with the Route Details column in the database, which for me IS NOT being populated. I don't know how to get this to happen. The person who made my skin, put TwitterBoostrap in, and this affects my acars map displays (Zoom, Bubble, ect are affected). Could this also stop the routes from displaying? I have been able to get the weather layer though, and it works perfectly fine. ww…

Hi all I've tried to set the zoom level in the config using map_zoom, map_zoom_level, etc. and none seem to be working. Is there an easy way to set the level, as my VA only flies in the UK? Cheers

Hello all, I'm having trouble getting my ACARS map to zoom in. I did a quick forum search and found a post stating I had to edit the acarsmap.js file. Well I did that as well as editing the Map Zoom in the local.config file and nothing works. No matter if I put a higher or lower number is stays the same. I want it to zoom in a little but it won't work. I'm running the latest beta and using the default, unmodified skin. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi i was wondering from some time... how can i change the zoom level of the live map have tried editing the local.config.php line 70 but regardless of the number i put the zoom level always stays the same on the site... i can change the center position of the map but so far i couldn't change the zoom

I'm helping a friend out with his VA and a problem has been the ACARS map not showing pilots (with kACARS, XACARS nothing). He has the same version of phpvms as I do, and my map works. When I test acars the info is in the database but not on the map however it is on the vacentral map. Here is what I have done so far with no luck: I copied the core/modules/ACARS from my va to his I copied the kACARS_free folder my my va to his I copied the xacarsconfig.tpl, fspaxconfig.tpl (ok, I may have got the names wrong, but all the config files for each acars type .tpl file in the libs folder) from my va to his. I dont know if its down or what but i updated, got no errors and by the way i love 1.2, just thought i would say that. But back to the topic the acars map dosent seem to show in firefox....shows just fine and dandy in IE...so i just thought i would throw that out there... And also when i updated for some reason not all but there are a couple of flights that when from having aircraft to now having any....nothing big just thought i would let you know of this as well.

Hi all, Was trying to change my Acars map to the weather version. All I can see in the local_config is # Valid types are G_NORMAL_MAP, G_SATELLITE_MAP, G_HYBRID_MAP, G_PHYSICAL_MAP I tried changing my map to G_WEATHER_MAP but it doesnt work. Would anyone have an idea of how to do this please. I just set up my airline, and i made a test flight. FSAcars: It was able to get the flight plan, but when i tried to send the log, the program crashed, FSPassengers: Didn't even recognize the config file xAcars: Cant even connect to any URL. I would like to get up and running, but nothing is working!

Hi All. I am currently setting up a VA for an airline that runs on a simulator other than msfs or xplane. It is FlightGear which is a free open source sim. It's not quite upto all the bells and whistles that the aforementioned sims have, but i want to provide a top notch va for the community there. FlightGear has its own multiplayer servers and a flight can be tracked via these, so i would like to know if the Acars systems can be adapted to point to servers other than msfs etc? Where would i begin looking? i have very limited programming skills unfortunately.. Thanks Alex

Alrighty here is the deal, one of my pilots has posted on out site saying that he submitted a pirep and its not showing in his recent pireps. I go to the admin panel and the flight he flew before the one that did not show up is there in good flying colors. Yet the other one says he is missing the aircraft reg. and name, so would this cause it to not show up in his recent pireps cause as soon as i added the name and reg it showed....?? Here is his post.. So im guessing it didnt show cause of the no aircraft name and reg. Just thought i would ask thanks.

Hi there I've been having a problem with the reports sent by my pilots. When they send the pirep it shows in admin center like this: Then I check the DB and the PIREP table and the aircraft->name is being inserted rather than aircraft->id. I checked the SchedulesData and everything is correct, I checked the fspax.php and it's correct too ($aircraft = $sched->aircraft;) : Anybody knows where the problem is? I appreciate it.

Hello there! We are looking inside the community for the phpVMS software in order to be used for our VACommunity. Right now we are on the testing phase but so far we tried both v7 beta and version 5 stable. We would like to know if we buy the ACARS version from phpVMS will it be compantible with PHPVMS 5 (from proAvia) or it's only for phpVMS 7? Do you recomend any ACARS software that works with xPlane & msfs 2020 because all the links from the forum are dead and we are not able to test something like the free ones. Thank you very much.

When doing an xACARS flight (For any pilot) on our system our livemap does not update the flight information of the flight instead it creates another log of the pilot in the sky without a destination or departing airport listed this also doesnt update the aircraft in the sky instead it of course makes another one. We have reset our live map but to no avail. Any ideas? microflightsim.co.cc/deltava to see for yourself

Ok, that last few revisions, I have had no luck getting acars to work correctly. I did a flight today and up on trying to accept the flight i get a "unable to save wrong file type" error. The flight stated it was over 65000 hours, the flight number didn't show correctly, I put KSK1003 as the number in ACARS. Right now for me ACARS is as fu@*ed up as a football bat...The flight was also -1.00 hours thus causing me to have negative pay. Hello everybody, I'm having some problems with all kACARS, now I don't know if there's something wrong with my computer, or if it's my website but when I try to log log a flight it gives me this error http://imgur.(VA)com/o2GoU (remove the VA) any help on how to fix it would be greatly appreciated PS.
