Is anyone else having issues with the PHPVMS 5.5.2 "Email all Pilot" email system ? I have 2 sites and both are letting me construct and send an email but not posting to members ? Thanks in advance

Hi I hired a new Linux server. but when I installed phpvms errors. There was the missing modules. phpvms need to install the modules for the server. If you are happy to help. I get the following error. Hi simmers, We have been using phpVMS with Kacars for a couple of years now. The ISP we have been with is closing down, and we need to move to a new host. The current host is running on KonsoleH and the new one on CPanel Even though we did inquire beforehand if there would be issues with the migration, everybody assured us that the move over will be a walk in the park, needless to say, that didn't work that way We did as instructed, zipped the complete route of the old host and exported the DB's manually. Hi all. I've just been advised that I need to migrate my hosting - I've purchased new hosting and I'm currently in the process of backing up our VA's website however I'm unsure of what the process to 'restore' the new site to the new hosting entails. Could anyone offer some insight in what's required, what needs to be set up on the new hosting and what's required to bring all the databases and files across in functioning order? We're running Sim Pilots phpVMS 5.5 and the hosts php version has been set to 5.5 but outside of this, I'm not aware of what else I need to change or set up. Any help is appreciated. Brendan.

I think this is a serious problem. I have been unable to send mail since l first install it. The problems of more terrible now. I found that no matter how I set, it always displays success. If I use smtp, no log files indicate that sent the email, login in the smtp. About mail server,I tried using anonymous mode,But still not effective. If I use another mode. l cant find any logs path about the send mail. ps:I use win08, php5.3.

hello all i have a quick question would it be possible to add a line to the massmailer to only mail to active pilots(not inactive in phpvms but retired in the database) as the autoretire function doesn't put the retired pilots it inactive in the admin. gr joeri

My hosting service is stopping access to its MySQL4 servers. While phpVMS mainly works with MySQL5, there are one or two glitches. Are there any plans to release a version that will be compatible with MySQL5? Thanks, Ken

I have set up my website, set up the database (actually had the web server (commercial)set up the MySQL database)and have done the FTP including assigning permissions to all of the files as shown in the installation instructions. I have taken the URL to the install.php file pasted it into my web browser and when I go to it I get the raw code in the file not the control panel. Any suggestions? I don't know if this issue has come up before in the forums but didn't find it in a search. I'm probably just missing something simple, but those are also some of the hardest problems to identify.

this is my modified schedule boarding pass. tpl It seems I have learned JUST enough php to screw it up. Can someone fluent in php please tell me why "I have an unscheduled end in line 111 the last line of this code. I have gone over it over and over and can't see an error but it worked till I changed one of the if icao gate schedules because I was not getting the proper selected gates just weird three digit random numbers. Does anybody have a script they wouldn't mind sharing for Pilot Applications to join a VA? If so, can you post here or pm me and also tell me where it goes on the server? Would prefer one that also has transfer hours and a space for a link to verify those hours. I think it is odd that phpvms does not include one. If is included, how do I activate it? I need help....Just setup phpvms on a new website. Everthing went fine, except the docets provided no path from my domain to site index.php or admim/index.php. Used www.mysite.com/phpvms/index.php and www.mysite/phpvms/admin/index.php......seems to go to a login page (Both are the same) how do you setup or develope the site. Documentation is week. Hi all, Everything is running beautifully on my phpvms site, except for one thing, the pilot brief page. The "click to view NOTAMS" button for the airports always seems to go to a page that isnt there: https://pilotweb.nas.faa.gov/geo/icaoRadius.html?icao_id=EGNX&radius=2 (being one example for EGNX) Also, the airport chars are just image holder with links that dont exist again - http://www.airnav.com/airport/EGNX#ifr (being an example) And finally, I am not sure if its a setup issue or such but the weather graphs dont seem to do anything are are for the wrong country... Anyone able to help?

When a pilot is selected from "all pilots" depending on the number of preps it can take over a minute for the graphics to show if the pilot has over 1000 flights. There is a issue regardless of number of flights, still very slow. we have verified this on 2 different servers, both paid. We have this running on AWS w/1cpu & 1Gb memory. Also have turned off "check for updates". Anything new since last posts in 2014

Hello guys, I need a little help. I wish the ranks were awarded not only based on the hours but also the number of flights made. I was able to bring up the function in the admin panel and make it work. The table in the database is updated correctly, but if I add the hours to a pilot with the "transert hours" the rank is increased even if there isn't a number of required flights. Can anyone help me?
