Hello right so when you our creating groups and i see the list of permissions i want to know how to add custom ones i know how to use them but dont know how to add them so like they our a option in that list etc i have looked throw evey file and sql but nothing please help

Hey Nabeel, Happy Holidays man! Just have a quick question, why is it that I may add aircraft, airlines, and routes but I cannot delete them. The ones I would like to get rid of remain on the site creating a lot of clutter and disorganization. Another thing is we have a flight school also that is a division of our airline, I created a new airline on the admin panel and would like to add aircraft to the academy's fleet. How do i get to assign the aircraft to that airline without having it affect my V.A.

Hello friends. I have a basic problem, I'm willing to block for some aircraft rating. but some pilots still reserving flights with the aircraft and also blocked release, Example. In AdminCenter put the A320 into a Commander rating, but the co-pilot can book a flight and system releases. APP.CONFIG.PHP my script this way: Config:: Set ('RESTRICT_AIRCRAFT_RANKS', true); To block flights with aircraft restrictions on what can I do?

Hi, I got a csv with all out schedules. When I import it, it is being processed and the routes are added normally. I can see no errors. However, afterwards no schedules are showing up and they are not added to the database either. Adding a schedule manually works just fine though. Any idea what is causing this and how I can fix it?

Hi, My Acars map seems not to be working correctly. It keeps adding lots of new flights for only 1 flight. It's almost as if every time a new stage of the flight is entered (boarding, pushback, taxi etc) it adds a new entry. Also the pilot id's are incorrect - they display as 0000- or something. Hello, for my new VA website, the last big problem for me is the transfer of the number of flights. When i update the number of flights in the pilot profile, this number turns to 1 when a pilot fly for the first time on the new site. It's resetting the number of flights in the database. I've try to do the same thing wich works with the transfer hours. So i've created a new column "transferflights" in the pilots table of the database. Ok I am trying to add a new pilot by registering as a new pilot but the Captcha is no showing the numbers. i.e. what doew this add up to + is all it shows and I then get this incorrect-captcha-sol. So why is it not working. Lloyd

G'day All, One area that my VA lacks realism is the fact that we cannot do multi leg flights like our real world counterpart. for example, Qantas 9 QFA9 has a stop over in Singapore WSSS, from Sydney YSSY, before continuing on to Heathrow EGLL, under the same callsign of Qantas 9 QFA9, is it possible to change a setting, or some coding to allow schedules to be added that have the same callsign ? If I am using: Config::Set('USE_CRON', true); I edited that in my app.config.php, from false to true. Do I ALSO put it in my local.config.php??? Because that is what it indicates in my maintenance options screen: Also, remember to change in local.config.php, USE_CRON to true, so phpVMS doesn't try to automatically schedule these tasks to run. I would have to ADD that line into to the local.config.php, whereas the app.config.php already has that line, you would just have to change it from "false" to "true"

Yesterday everything was working, but today when i logged in, i could only see 3 schedules. i checked in the admin panel, all of them are there, but only 3 are displayed for the pilots. i tried to reupload the cvs file, but that didnt help. what may be causing this? http://swisssvirtual.com/index.php/

Hi, For months we have been doing fine, and there were no edits or anything, and just the other day we started getting errors from the registration form. And, we haven't touched that, or the databases recently, so i am clueless as to why it is happening. Error: Error Registering Cannot add or update a child row: a foreign key constraint fails (`vdalairl_phpvms`.`phpvms_pilots`, CONSTRAINT `phpvms_pilots_ibfk_1` FOREIGN KEY (`code`) REFERENCES `phpvms_airlines` (`code`) ON UPDATE CASCADE) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I want to sort my airlines aircraft in ascending order when the pilot comes to choose his aircraft for submission of a pirep. I have tried two ways so far. in local config i did this. /* Sort the aircraft by order*/ Config::Set('AIRCRAFT_ORDER_BY', 'name ASC'); That doesn't appear to work. I also went into my mysql db and went into operations changing the alter table order from "id" to "name", but that doesnt seems to work either. Dear Fellas i just found a problem with Admin center access which is as follows. in admin center i went and created new group with the name 'Finance' and gave below permissions to the pilot. View finance Admin Access after 1 week the same pilot sent me an email and informed me that his VA hours reset to zero instead of 2000+ when i investigated in admin center i went to Admin Activity log and found the same pilot somehow got access of pilots profile and he himself changed his own profile data and because of that his VA hours showing zero now still dont know why? i got confused as how this pilot got access so i changed his password and i myself logged in from his …

Hi there, I am trying to run if(MainController::$activeModule = 'Frontpage') inside layout.tpl, it seems like its working but its really not. I am trying to present diffrent div's for a homepage and diffrent for all other modules. HI All, I'm starting a VA with some friends, and we want to have fleet management, that is, that each aircraft is at a location, and then flown to another. So basically, it should work like: Aircraft Reg PH-BUF is at EHEH When a pilot requests schedules for EHEH, only aircraft that are there will show, this case PH-BUF will appear, with all available routes from EHEH Flight is bid on, and pilot flies the route Filing a PIREP, the pirep is inserted, automatically the .php pirep insert script needs to change the location of the PH-BUF to the destination airport of the pirep filed, which is now the current location of the aircraft.
