Had a quick search over the forums but no luck. People have asked I believe how to be able to search the schedules by using hundreds of different variations. But what I was wondering if it's possible to add an alternative flight search box by flight type? You know, when you upload the schedules you can say if each route is either: The reason I say it is as you know I have a charter airline and there are literally tens of thousands of charter routes, but then amongst those there are are few routes which are actually "Scheduled" routes. So to be able to filter those from the charter routes I was hoping to be able to search by either "P" passenger flights or "H" Chart…

Hi All, Is it possible to include Pax/Cargo data from the Pilot Brief page in the PIREP that is recorded on the database? The data is stored in variables. As an example, a flight has 200 POB as generated using a formula, and stored in a variable. I'm wondering if you can put this into the database and present it on the PIREP page for the specific flight. Thanks, Hayden.

Hello Some of you may know the website fuelplanner.com They have an API now, where you can post variables and get variables back, so you can seamlessly integrate fuelplanning in your website (eg pilot brief) I'm very inclined to spend the 20 bucks, but there's nothing known about how to integrate it with phpvms. Does any of you use this API and can shed a light? Just so I wouldn't have to reinvent the wheel.

hi there, im in the process of mkaing a new VA, so obviously im adding all the relevant information. NOW for some reason, when i click the accept button on pending pilot registrations it doesnts do anything, also i cannot airports, i submit the right information but i get and error saying "cannot add airport" many thanks in advance Leigh

Is there a way in the schedule_results.tpl to check the latest pirep submit dates with todays date so that i can make something like if the pirep submitdate == today for that flight number and then echo a specific image in the line of that specific scheduled flight? The reason i want something like that is because i want that every flightnumber can only be flown once per day. Any ideas?

I'm thinking of making a map of flights for the pilots can see destinations to fly more graphically. Something like this: http://viajaraargentina.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/ruta-aerolineas-argentinas1.jpg It would be a bitmap image mapped with coordinates that when you click on a city to return all available flights to that destination. The problem is that the link schedules/view, destinations are not filter for airoport, shows all. Hi, I was wondering how I could create a database column in a way that I could avoid it being wiped out during updates? They don't come often, and I'm not complaining at all, but I'd rather be safe than later lose that data. If there is a way to do this, I'm absolutely clueless on how to assign arrays so they can display in a table, i.e $schedules->new_column_name, so could anyone please redirect me towards some kind of a tutorial or point to a starting point with an example? What is the best way to get the acars map to show up on the front page? I tried copy and pasting the acarsmap coding to the frontpage_main, but the map ended up far off to the right, not even on the template. I am pretty new at this stuff, so if there is a code for it to link to the acarsmap, could somebody proved that please, or let me know how to move the map onto the frontpage template, that will work also, thank you.

I have completed 7 flights for 19 hours and 14 minutes, counting each of my flights that are showing in my pilots profile. However, the system is only showing 7 flights for 2 hours and 54 minutes. Does anybody know what is going on with this?

Hello, I am setting up the pilot brief for prefile with vatsim however I can manage to split the flight time into hours and seconds as box 1 requires flight hours and box 2 requires mins, any ideas on how to split hours and mins? thanks

Hello everyone. I have the cron job setup to run once a week on my site to do all the maintenance and when it runs, it resets the flights count on pilot roster and public profiles and in pilot center to 0. I found this in the maintenance.php file : MainController::Run('Maintenance', 'resetpirepcount'); MainController::Run('Maintenance', 'resethours'); Is it safe to say that I can get rid of the resetpirepcount part to stop this from happening? I get LOADS of inquirys every week as to why their flight count is 0 again. I tell them it is the cron job but in their eyes we do not know what we are doing and a few have left over this already. We have the a new install for virtual carrier wing 3 (1.0.1.4) ever since we updated to have the fligh track record every 20 seconds we have had issues where the flight does not record properly for lomng flights. Hi guys i`ve got a problem with the maintenance.php and the bids removal. I have set the local config to : # If someone places a bid, whether to disable that or not Config::Set('DISABLE_SCHED_ON_BID', true); Config::Set('DISABLE_BIDS_ON_BID', false); and in the maintenance.php i`ve activated this for the cron job: if(Config::Get('CLOSE_BIDS_AFTER_EXPIRE') === true) { SchedulesData::deleteExpiredBids(); CronData::set_lastupdate('check_expired_bids'); } now the bids are removed after the period i`ve set but the flights don`t show up in my schedules again after the bid removal.
