Can someone please take me through the steps of how to install PHPVMS please. I'm having trouble when it goes to the tables and then i say next step and it doesnt load. Then when i go on the website its half loaded? I Need Help!! Cheers Myles

Hello and thank you all for such a wonderful and intuitive system. (Sorry for the runnon post, but I can't seem to use a carraige return.) I haven't maintained a website since the days of Allaire Homesite and WsFTP. I've never used style sheets or server-based systems. I have no problems running any of the Flight Simulator or Virtual Airline functions. Everything works GREAT! I'm used to seeing pages I that I can't edit and alter, then upload and that's all there is too it. How do I get my front page to say something other than, ... "Welcome to phpVMS! Hello, I recently made a local_config.php file to put the code that VAcentral gave me. Now on my airline on VaCentral, It has the correct number of Pilots and Pireps, but now hours. Any ideas?

For some odd reason, VA Central is only showing a pirep on Tuesday. Has anyone else ever had this issue? Clearly we have pireps every day of the week. Is this something on my end or VA Central? Thanks fellers!

I'm trying to sort out the email issue. I am not sure as to why Forgot Password emails are being sporadically lost. If you have requested a password reset and have not gotten the email, wait for some time (hours, day) and try again, and see if you get it.

Hi there to all, my problem is I am not seeing any of my flights listed on the live map or in the listing, I have checked to make sure my API key is installed and so on but still no positive result. How ever I am still able to send my PIREPS and schedules. Can someone please help me with this.

I would like to know how to ban a spammer from my website. He has created 3 fake accounts. Made 500 fake bids and is sending weird messages to my airline staff. We currently have his accounts on freeze and are not accepting any new members in case he attacks again. He keeps changing i.p. s and emails but I have all of the emails and I.p. s for each account. hello everybody im quite new to phpvms i have it up and running with 2 logged flights. i have a quick question though is there a way i can limit a pilots location for example "jon fly's from ksan to klax in a crj700 with the tail sign NCRJ7" is there a way i can make it so he can not leave klax unless he fly's to another airport in the aircraft he got there in or like buy a ticket to a new airport. i am more interested in the aircraft location stays at destination airport than the pilot location because i want my pilots to have the ability to fly where ever they want. http://unitedstatesvirtual.netne.net/phpvms

I made an account on VA central and added my airline to it (Dominican Airways) and I changed my e-mail on the account to something else, But now when I log into the account the VA's that I have are not on there or anything and I can't manage my account so can someone help me please?

Virtual Airline: MVS Due to an error in sending information from the VA, we have awarded the prize for 5000 hours, when really we have only 1845 hours. Could you correct this? We do not want awards, we have not yet achieved. Sorry for my poor english

I've seen this and other similar responses, but that made me and my airline (Atlas Virtual Airlines) extremely confused about how the whole Point system works. I've read that it's basically based on numbers of PIREPs filed and active pilots, with actively flown scheduled routes, live fuel price usage etc. somehow being factored in. The big question is... what does that mean? How do you get those numbers, and what do we do to raise or otherwise control our ranking? My airline's been using vaCentral for roughly two years, but we've only seriously looked at the system for so long... Hey, 2 days ago, we had around 8500+ points on vaCentral (MIA_merlionvirtualairlines) and then I cleared out the pilots who haven't flown at all, and now, our points are down to 6900. If that isn't an error, can you explain how the vaCentral scoring system works? I mean, we've earned the 8500 points without those inactive pilots, so why would removing them cause any problem like that? Cheers.

I had added some routes for my va that fly in and out of KORD-O'hare International Airport. It shows that KORD is somewhere over in Germany?????? So I went in and manually fixed in the add/edit airports. Now the problem is in the schedules that kord is still in germany even though it is fixed in the admin center. Example is KORD-EDFH is 663....nm istead of 5000....nm

Hi, I have just registered my airline (which has been going for over a year) with vaCentral and am now trying to build the interface from our custom web site (build in Perl) to vaCentral using the XML interface. Unfortunately I have run into some problems with uploading schedules (routes), which are always rejected as INVALID XML. I managed to update the general VA information and the pilot information without a problem, which seem to indicate, that the way I am posting is correct. Thus, I am a bit confused. Recently we had a recruiting drive that netted us 22 new members, of them 8, never got out of the gate [Never made a flight] so after 72 hours if they fail to report for duty, we drop them from the roster. Now I can understand taking a hit at VA Central for deleting inactive members who have contributed to the program and just moved on. But we lost two slots for deleting pilots who never contributed a single flight? I thought I understood the formula but this has me puzzled. If we want to maintain our ranking, does this mean you never delete pilots whether they have contributed or not?
