Virtual Norwegian is a virtual airline based on the real airline Norwegian Air Shuttle, one of Europe's largest low cost carriers. As a pilot in Virtual Norwegian, you get to choose among flights to over 100 destinations, operated from our hubs in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Spain, UK and our recently added hub in Bangkok. Make a short hop in Scandinavia, or perhaps a longer flight into the heart of Europe, or maybe even try a long haul flight from Scandinavia to either Bangkok or New York? Choose between several airframes, such as the Boeing 737-300/800, our brand new Boeing 787-8 or our historic MD80 or Fokker 50. Our schedules are updated weekly, and the ATS-…

I'm not looking to claim the cliché “unlike any other VA!â€, but I would like to build something that's lacking in the virtual world. I'm split between two ideas: a fictional low-cost carrier or private jet charter? Option 1: There's a lot of really nice and professional VA's out there based on real airlines, but when it comes to the truly 'virtual' VAs they all seem to turn into an "anything goes" mega-VA. This VA would be California based, operate the B737-700 and -900, and focus on aeronautical competence, proficiency, and accomplishments rather than just build a logbook to nowhere flying everything under the sun. I even have a working paint job for you to critiqu…

Can't remember if I showed you all my crew portal when it was originally released but here is the BETA for v2. Screenshot, showing the Airport lookup page which displays data, METAR, NOTAMs and, eventually, charts. It was developed to create an environment for pilots to access information as quickly and efficiently as possible. However still in development, the finished version will include: Flight progress page for pilots to monitor ACARS data for their flight, as well as complete a digital navigation log for their flight Airline-specific NOTAMs Weather page displaying European weather charts and forecasts Airport index which displays airport information for a sp…

Hello everyone, I have this strong urge to start my own virtual airline. As of right now, I don't have anything started, but that is for a reason. Before I start, I want to make sure I've got some support and that my time isn't just being wasted. My question is, would anyone here be interested in working with me to start this VA? I would be looking for 1-2 Co-Manager(s), 1-2 Livery Painter(s), and 1-2 Programmers. I also do not want to release any information as of right now on what I do have done, due to copyright issues. Thanks guys/gals, hopefully we can get this show in the air soon. Vlad

(6/6) – Dallas, TX It brings me great pride and joy to finally publicly announce our secret project to the Virtual Community today! I have been working hard with COO Brandon Reeves to bring a new, fresh, and fast VA to this community to fill one of the major gaps. I am proud to announce vWN Airlines to you, and give you some of the details about what will set us apart from other virtual representations of SWA on the web today. The idea of vWN Airlines was hatched mid-April of 2013 as both myself and COO Brandon Reeves were searching for a new VA home in the name of Southwest Airlines. The search rendered a few major VAs, who all had some really strong points of o…
