I would like to make a post about our new ACARS program developed by Blackbox Design. They have created us a spectacular ACARS system that provides all of our pilots with an easy way to grab charts, fuel planning and bids right from the application. The application was fairly well priced considering that most of the other ACARS developers were for the most part over priced. The HALCARS System is in its final stages of development and should be released to Hawaiian Pilots by Saturday or sometime before then hopefully. Hey everyone! I was just curious if anybody ran just a virtual regional airline (American Eagle, Pinnacle, Colgan, Expressjet). If somebody did could you please post a link? I'd love to join. I have recently noticed through reviewing posts that it seems many issues have risen. It is sad to see the forums (virtual airline discussion in particular) turn into a mud pit of hatred. I feel like many comments are just driven because someone has an axe to grind. It especially offends me to see that when someone posts one news announcement it turn into a fighting match between others for something totally off topic. Aloha, Just to start off this post on a positive note i would like to congratulate ourselves on a whopping 25 flights in one day only having 20 some pilots. Below are some things we have done in our 10 days of service: 1. We have contacted the real world Hawaiian Airlines asking permission for our VA to run. 2. Fellow Virtual Pilots, The Hawaii Air National Guard (Virtual); 154th Wing is being formed for those pilots that are serious about flying military aircraft but without the constrants of Virtual Special Operations Groups (VSOAs). The 154th is a diverse unit that flies fighters, tankers, and transports. That being said the current stand up for this "VA" is the C-17A, KC-135R, C-40C(737), and the C-37 (Gulfstream V). Welcome to our new Virtual airline "Virtual Caledonian". Our Virtual Airline has been formed as a tribute to the former real world airlines, “British Caledonian†and “Caledonianâ€. There has to be something done about these skin thieves. This is the second time someone has stolen my skin. I am not going to point you out, you know who you are. What can be done. Maybe give no support to these thieves. I know its only a game. Generally I would share if someone asked me. I have paid for some of the features on my skin, that like pouring salt in the wound.
