Hi all, trying to help out my friendly VA manager by troubleshooting a minor issue on kACARS and the phpVMS VM. Flight hours are currently being tracked by computer system time, making it possible to make a cross-country flight in 25 minutes. I understand there is an option to track by FS time, or time factoring in accelerated time. Looking for some guidance on where I might be able to find such a setting and adjust it to reflect in-game time-stretching. Cheers! -JT

I have a pilot who is having a strange problem with his kACARS - it will not show all of our VAs fleet in the drop-down list. He sees only 4or 5 of the 32 available aircraft. All other pilots are NOT experiencing this, which tells me that something is wrong with his install or its setup. is there anyone that might be able to shed some light as to what might be taking place? thanks

Getting the following message on the Get Flight Number info block. This problem appeared suddenly last evening for no apparent reason "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt tp continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. Input string was not in a correct format Details (Included in the .zip attachment JIT Debugging is not active - have no idea how to do that. exception.zip

Hello Yesterday I made the last flight using the K-acars, I have not moved anything of configuration and today simply "does not work", if we add to this the problem of the re-captcha system, something is Going through phpvms? Is the best system I have managed but apparently there is not much to do on my part. I appreciate any help because I am a beginner.

We have deleted a pilot, including the ACARS_data from the database. The flight still shows up on the map with a PID of 0000. How can this be deleted? http://prs.flyafava.com/ thanks

Hi again Just setting this up again and came across this issue last night and I'm banging my head to figure out why it's just not working. First sorry if this is been posted before but I been searching for this issue and haven't come across anything. I've been setting up Flight schedules using two different airlines. With the first schedule of flights setup and complete for airline number 1 can be seen in both the flight schedule on the website and within the Kacars program when going to get flight info and bid. I am having an issue with some kAcars PIREPs that seems to only be happening with one pilot (at the moment). The data coming through is incomplete, and not consistent. See attached. These are just two recent examples, but it's been occurring since he joined. So here's what I've done up until writing this thread: 1. Seeing as how it's only happening with one pilot, I immediately thought it to be an installation issue on his end (and it still might be). My staff and I followed up with him to understand his installation, and we don't feel he's done anything differently or erroneously from anyone else. I want to limite the specific group to use kACARS. lt is important for me to do this. The fs_products's owner said the setting is in the phpvms but not in the kACARS. But l cant find it in the admin panel and files in the website. Who knows that? Please tell me, thank you.

At the almost end of 2015 there seems to be a problem with Kacars. As most people are dutch in our VA i have use google translate to get the message in English. Gents , I been using Kacars for some time and have been working great untill last two days last on the 20th OCT, shut computer down and took on no updates at all by the history log. Next morning open it up I can get into the ID menu entry with User and Password Okay then when I get into the main page, no warning bell sounds and the cursor can not click on any thing on that screen. I have to click the top right "X" and close the program then little menu pops up and says akcars-Customizable Not working. I have checked Drivers no updates were take they are up to date, and unit worked before and no changes were done then to not working. …

Dear members, I just joined phpVMS with an airline called Aveiro Express. Its a VFR based VA, so that requires a better position Log by the Acars. We use kAcars but it has the handicap of not having a position, flaps or lights log (mainly position) wich limits the actions and realism of the VA. I also tried FSAcars but i keep having troubles with the connection to the Operations Website. With that been said, I request, if possible, some one with the programming skills to help me go foward with my VA thet grew in the last days and I felt the need to improve my services.
