Hey guys, I am looking to do some minor changes to my VA website, but i am not good with PHP at all, so i was hoping someone would be kind enough to talk me through it? Take a look on my website and you'll see what i would like to do, http://braathensvirtual.no. 1. Add the promo video of my VA to the top of the pront page, above the live map. 2. The live map and the news box on the front page are not aligned with the image slider, would like to do that. 3. Change the color of my footer. 4. In my flights schedules page, the Options list and my main flight ID are white, the same colour of the background so I can't see anything unless I put my cursor on it. Is there a way I can change this specific text colour. I am using the Lance Free Skin. Thanks

Hello. So i'm working on a custom pilot center using Action.php to avoid the java scripts and junk from my current theme. Anyway, im setting up the pages, for example, my flight bids. Theres the following code in there: <td><a href="<?php echo url('/pireps/filepirep/'.$bid->bidid);?>">File PIREP</a><br /> When i have http://localhost/site/action.php/schedules/bids open and you click on "File PIREP" it takes me back to Index.php. It needs to go to action.php. How would i change the above code to go to action.php rather than "URL" which goes to Index?

Hello, I'm sure this is a newbish question but I'm trying to edit phpvms, between the stylesheet and code, and I'm having issues when trying to load up new images on the site it seems to be caching them for a long time. I will clear the cache on the site and in my browser or even view in other browsers such as firefox and it seems they are still the same? Is there a option somewhere that is keeping these for a certain period of time?

Hello guys I am contacting you all today in hopes of finding someone who is experienced in coding and web development. I am currently starting a virtual airline called EastLink Virtual.I would like to have a front page developed for my website which will be running on PHPVMS. I am also looking for someone to create a logo and a paint scheme for the airline. Blue and Gray would be the colors unless you recommend a better idea. Hello, I am trying different skins. I installed the Ocean Blue and was trying to figure out how to add modules such as fleet under the Corporate Menu or add other menu buttons and different modules, documents, and etc. Where can I find a fleet module or string to add it to the Ocean Blue skin? 1) I have two divisions of my airline. I would like to be able to have a different look for each division. Is this possible using a single install of phpvms ( perhaps pointing to a specific skin folder for each division ?) 2) and after the loast question this will seem simpleton.... for the add static pages, am I able to call phpvms information into them ? for example a new page just for the news, finacials, etc.... if so can anyone give me an example of the coding for that ? Hi First off I would like to introduce myself.... I'm Vincent and i am the COO/Webmaster for the newly launched VA, JavelinAir. I have never used phpVMS before nor am I good with css.. So far I have managed to setup a teamspeak and forum for our VA and install the phpVMS on our website (www.javelinair.com), do the necessary adjustments such as adjusting the callsigns, writing a welcome message, and etc.... Now my biggest problem is creating a skin for it, adding 2 modules (teamspeak and forums). I have watched the tutorial videos and still find it so hard to do this. Hi guys! Got 2 issues here. First is when I try to bid a flight i'm being shown a blank white page and the flight doesn't bid. When I try filing a PIREP at index.php/pireps/filepirep, and enter a flight number that does not belong to a flight between the airports selected, it gives me an error message saying that.Is there a way to make a custom PIPER possible? So a pilot will be able to select a departure and arrival airport (or better yet just enter ICAO codes for any airports), enter a flight number, and that'll go into the logs. Thanks!

I have found a hosting company and have been talking to the CEO who is an aviation fan himself, so I now have free hosting for 3 months for the VA and then if I have enough traffic after 3 months funding will hopefully continue and my VA will be a partner with this web hosting company, well a different company owned by the same man I think. But I have watched all the skinning tutorials and have some graphic software but neither dreamweaver or virtual studio/basic or what ever software the admin was using.
