Hi all, I am just starting out in skinning. I downloaded a template and followed the tutorial but when I go to preview it I get this message: Notice: The template file "/home5/spiritc1/public_html/virginatlanticvirtualco//lib/skins/exmachina/header.php" doesn't exist in /home5/spiritc1/public_html/virginatlanticvirtualco/core/classes/TemplateSet.class.php on line 231 and another one at the bottom of the page talking about the footer. I have tried various filepaths to see if I'm doing something wrong but nothing changes, no matter what I do. I did notice that the crystal file is called layout.php and so I tried renaming the file to that and the error disappeared but th…

So i'm having extreme difficulty getting my custom pilot center's schedules, working with action.php, to be able to add bids without giving the well known "No route Passed" error. I have done everything i can think of to removing all references of ANY javascript being called in to copying everything in core_htmlhead.tpl and placing it in either of the schedule_x.tpl files. Nothing will get this to work! I have it working on my website now that does not have a custom pilot center page. Just having issues adding bids using action.php...... I'm attempting to get my news to display as: Date | Subject: Body but is coming out as Date | Subject: Body ----- After triple-checking my formatting I looked up the news table in the database - it appears that the body field has <p> tags attached to it when it posts... I dug all through the admin side and even into the SiteCMS files trying to see what I can tinker with to prevent/work around this but no luck. This is a clean install of phpVMS so no other files have been customized. Suggestions?

Hi all, just currently setting up a testing phpvms on localhost. However, I've tried skinning myself and have looked at guides on how to do so but i cannot figure out on how I can start skinning with CSS? I'm getting a little confused. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

When uploading a copy of phpVMS to a sub domain on my site for testing I noticed that the default crystal skin worked and my skins did not without changing the path to the skin, but the crystal skin has the layout.php instead of layout.tpl . Can someone explain exactly what this does? Thanks!

About to release my admin skin, however I have been forced to edit the default template files in admin/templates. I noticed that adding them to the skin folder, like you would on the main site, does not work. Changes made to those files in the skin folder do not show up. Is there a way around this?

Hi, I'm currently creating a theme for a VA. In my menu, I use: <div class="btn"><a href="#" title="Thing" style="border-color: #831029;">Thing</a> for making the menu (Without phpVMS). How can I intergrate it so phpVMS's menu works with this? Thanks.

I am not sure what has happened to the bottom footer but it doesn't seem to be always on the bottom of the page, and some users have a problem with the footer appearing across important messages and links. Hello everyone, Would anyone know who can provide free admin template(s) for the community? I think speak for the community when I say we'd greatly appreciate any Template released. Because it'll deffinately be a change from the basic phpvms admin looks. I am aware that some people pay for custom admin templates. But for those who cant afford a superb job (me ) something free and cool looking would be great. Biggest shoutouts to those that agree and the guys/gals that'll willing out of the goodness of their heart create one!

I've installed about 5 skins into my FTP so I can see which ones I like the best. The default phpVMS one works, and so do two others. But this new one (Zumeweb's Pacific) will not work correctly! Here is the error I get: Notice: The template file "/home/bluehawk/public_html//lib/skins/Pacific/header.tpl" doesn't exist in /home/bluehawk/public_html/core/classes/TemplateSet.class.php on line 248 And then the site is all messed up, showing only some old news info from the other skin, and what not. I'm trying to find a skin that works for me, since my old one (Skyline Green) isn't doing it for me

Good evening everyone. After the feedback we received from my previous post, about easyJet Virtual, we have decided to close it down. We have now decided to open a fictional VA, called 'JAJ Virtual'. Hi all, right me and a team are creating a virtual airline for easyJet, we sent them an email yesterday explaining and still waiting for a reply back. However, the staff at easyJet va have created roles etc and have done the information and routes the our virtual airline website. I am working on converting a template to a phpVMS skin. What I thought was a slider for images turns out to be something I have not come across. As you can see the Piper Cub is a static image for slot 1, I am trying to figure out how to change the image when you press the different numbers 1-6. well its my first Post for Asking help i have a problem i uploaded the Template on my Testside so here is a link http://91.143.80.101...tual/index.php/ well the Problem are that i have needed many cheat to bring this to work, at last it works now but the sliders and change from mainside to pilotcenter should work with a popup but it not want work i dont know what i must change any advise would be kind.
