I came across this snippet a few days ago that will allow me to display recent flights underneath a map (GCMap), and it works like a charm. I sized it down and added it to the sidebar on my home page. Now, the question is this. This is my first mod which I am going to release to phpvms. I will be making a flight information centre which will include the live flight map, recant flights, and live flight board and booked flights. I am hoping that this mod, or re-vamp of the live flight board will be finished within the next week or two. Thanks chris

I didn't see anything posted about the problem I had, so I figured I'd at least throw this out for anyone else who might encounter the problem I did. My install was showing ancient weather maps from around February/March and wouldn't ever update when I would look at a flight brief. A few edits in the schedule_briefing.tpl file and I fixed the problem. Enjoy. weather_map_update.zip

Dear All, I have created this post at a long shot and was looking to see how it went. People have asked me recently what is the best software to use for airlines without needing a web master. I believe that phpVMS is far superior for its kind, yet one thing that have turned many people away are its lack of add ons. As many people may have noticed various virtual airlines are now in call for a 'Training Academy'. I myself cannot code PHP but I have pretty good knowledge of working in Virtual Airlines to find what they need. I believe more airlines would begin to use the software if this was available. Hey Guys, Recently I have been working on a PAX module when I hit a stump. I was going to take special events ( such as christmas and easter etc.) and make them high flow days were the PAX would increase. Now after adding these into my module set, An idea spurred into my head. Why dont i take a break from this hard stuff and make something simple we can all appreciate?!?! SO! Just wondering and i think it would benefit others too, could it be possible to make a module that when you post news to your site, it makes a post in the forums containing the same as the news on the front page of the site? Anyone interested in a module that displays warning to the pilot? If interested I will be providing the module only $1. What the module does is basically: The administrator sends a warning to the pilot, the pilot receives this warning if the driver accumulates three reports the pilot is automatically removed from the Virtual Airline. What do you think?

Good Evening, I am very new to phpVMS and trying to figure this section part out. I am not new to PHP but my skill level is just below an intermediate level. I have developed web_apps before but this is the first time I've tried to take something a existing system and add something to it. Anyways, I am trying to add a new filter to the original schedule_searchform.tpl file that comes with phpvms right from the download. Below are the two parts of code that I have added. I am looking for a code, a module, etc. that will automatically analyze a submitted PIREP and automatically reject them based on certain perimeters, ie. -1000fpm landing rate. Hello fellas. I am curious if anyone ever came up with an addon for the news module to make it so if one had created hub pages, one could post news for that hub only instead of it showing up on the front page as airline news. During all these years, I have noticed that va administrators are keen on finding a way to allow their pilots to use their virtual money. I have already released a Piloy Shop module but in reality, purchasing things in Pilot Shop does not give you extra capabilities except the downloadable items. There were a lot of virtual airline who had come back to me and a wide number of custom solutions has been offered. Hi guys, right now i am working on a script which will automatically output a real flightplan. It will look like the picture below and it will be included in the schedules_briefing.tpl - i am also working on a script where you can print out that flightplan but nothing else from that page. i think, i will need about 2-3 days until its done.
