Nabeel, would it be possible to capture in the database the ipaddress of the user registering and have this displayed in the admin pilots list?

Can anyone offer some help, I want to capture the ipaddress of anyone that uses the contact us form (contact_form.tpl) i have added the following to the form but do i need to modify the contact.php code in the modules folder as well? <input name="ip" type="hidden" value="<?PHP echo $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDRESS']; ?>"> All that is displayed in the mail currently is -ip

I was wondering what it would take to send a specific device (iPhone) to its own unique site. I have the code that recognizes the iPhone, but what files would I have to edit/make for a separate site. I use my iPhone a lot as I am not home often, so it would be convenient for me to have a more iPhone friendly site, both bandwidth and ease of use. I've done this before with a layout website, made by hand, but it seems to be more complicated for phpVMS. Any help appreciated! Thanks.

Hey guys. My va is currently on a 200 concurrent SQL connection. Im thinking of upgrading to fivedev hosting as they offer 1000 concurrent sql connection. My VA pilot has only 60 pilots, at 1200 schedules. 190 fleet. May i know if 200 concurrent SQL connection is enough at the moment. My pilots everyday i get around 6 flyers. Unless events, we can get up till 15 pilots at most. Hope to get your feedback!

Hey all, I understand any questions should go here, so I have a question that bothers me... is anyway an admin can edit (add/remove) the funds that the virtual airline has that is more to simulate more complex financial transactions, for example: - say the aniline will get a loan of $100 mil. for purchasing new or used planes - can we (manually, or in another way) add this amount of funds to reflect this kind of loan? - say 2-3 months down the road, the airline will pay back the loan and the interest, say $125 mil. - is anyway we can deduct this amount to reflect this kind of transaction? now, I know on the payback side, we could include it in the airline expenses …

Hello dear recently i invloved a code that doesn't allow everybody to visit the phpvms website by puting <?php if(Auth::LoggedIn()) { //show the layout ?> LAYOUT CONTENT <?php } else { //redirect to login page ?> <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;URL='../'" /> <?php } ?> in layout.tpl but the problem that the registration form needs layout file, i wonder is it possible to exclude registration module to use layout.tpl ?? cause now when i try to visit registation form the website redirect me to login page looking forward, tx

Ok...I have been trying to figure out how to do the following: I would like it so that when I get an email sent requesting acceptance of a pirep, if i can include a single link on the email that will alow me to hit it and accept all. I am actually wanting this because I have the pirep requests being forwarded to my phone, and instead of browsing to my site (on my phone) I would like to just hit a link. Kinda like a confirm registration link. I have been researching how to do this, but no luck. Anyone got any ideas ?

I have configured my VA in another site while the other hosting platform's problem were solved. Having that done I want to move all my VA configuration to the other platform. Is there a way to do a full export? I only see Import/Export schedules but don't see that for airlines, airports, pilots, awards, etc. For example what if I export the schedules and in there I add a new schedule that was not present before. Will it add it or fail? if any of the imported schedules has a new airport I suppose that would fail because of the referential integrity, right?

I was wondering if there was a link pilots could go to and fill out a form to deactivate their account. If there isnt, how could i make a page with boxes to fill out like name, why you want to deactivate your account ect.. and how could i make the pilot prove its him who is sending it and not someone playing a joke? if that makes sence :S Thanks, James

Hello all! Would someone be able to show me how to make the "View PIREPs" page in the Admin Center (when your looking at a particular pilots page) display on multiple pages? Right now my top pilot has 1066 PIREPs, and when I go to his "View PIREPs" page to make edits, it takes a dreadful amount of time to load his page. This is because it is loading all 1066 PIREPs on one page. Is there a way to display only the latest 20 PIREPS on this page (so basically list 20 PIREPS per page)? I think this would drastically increase loading times for pilots that have over 100 PIREPS. It's kind of silly to load them all on one page. If anyone could help me, it would be much appreci…

Dear fellow phpvms users and developers, As I already have an established VA and was previously using vAPN as the VA suite, I am now using phpvms and am extremely happy with your product. My VA is designed in Joomla CMS with phpvms access via a menu item that is only visble to registered users. But I would like to show the Pilot Roster to the public, meaning I need to show the roster on its own for the public to see. Is there a way I can use the Pilot Roster page solely as a .php so I can wrap it inside Joomla ? The other idea I had was to make a second core_navigation menu and only display the pilots link, but I can't see a way of having two core_navigation menu's. …

I am having trouble matching file nomenclature with the documentation in the phpvms for dummies. Is there a checklist, or cheatsheet available to set up and get started? I have the aircraft, routes, and airports, but for some odd reason cannot set up the site and database to get them there and the rest is equally challenging.

on the beginning days of this month i had started my own VA Site using the latest version of PHPVMS downloaded from the main site. However, i had encountered a frustrating problem that i cannot sumbit any PIREPS to the system. The MANUAL Submitting option processed and return me nothing but "No reports have been found. I noticed all my pilots Last PIREP and last recieved PIREP date/time didnt match (ive gone through them all manually in phpadmin to match them). Also Active/Inactive.....I have a flashing icon Green=active/Red=inactive in the admin and roster pilot list this is triggered by the 0 or 1 variable in the Retired database enrty. A lot of pilots had flashing red when their account was active so i checked my DB and those accounts had 2010 in the Retired entry, this i found was entered after i turned a pilot inactive then returned them to active.
