Hello all, A few months ago we launched our virtual airline (www.skygreeceva.com). Lately our host (Host Papa) has been banning our IP's because of too many 'httpd' connections and has offered a solution that puts us on a dedicated server to stop this from happening. Here is their official email Your IP was blocked 4 times since 30th May. The logs have been rotated since that time. But, these were related to too many httpd connections. So your software is creating to many connections to the server at one time. You will need to adjust this or upgrade to vps if your not possible. As the vps has no limits on connections. Hello All I am unsure as to how i can change the size of the google map under 'View a map of all my flights' in the pilot center. I believe that its this file : profile_myroutesmap.tpl that you edit, but its empty, i checked the one currently used by the site and it is also empty, how can i change the size of this map? Thanks

Hello I do not know what has happened but no-one's signature banner is appearing, I have tested it with Mozilla firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer and it is not working on all of them, I have not touched any of the settings except from changing the themes and the Banner. My hosting service is stopping access to its MySQL4 servers. While phpVMS mainly works with MySQL5, there are one or two glitches. Are there any plans to release a version that will be compatible with MySQL5? Thanks, Ken

MYSQL 5.7 can cause problems with phpvms as it by default enables strict mode, which will break your site as pireps will suddenly stop going through. You will need to contact your host to get them to disable it. If you have a VPS or dedicated server you can do that yourself via either the Terminal or an SSH client such as Putty. It seems more and more VA sites are coming up with this problem of PIREPS not submitting, but they get an email saying a PIREP has been filed.

I have just moved from another hosting provider to a new reseller account I have started up, but... I tried to export and import the MySQL database from the old one to the new one but it won't let me import to the new one in phpMyAdmin. I am stuck now because I have a photo gallery, phpBB forum and 2 phpVMS (1 standby/backup). I am going to keep trying to export it and import it in other ways to see if it works but I wonder if anybody else knows how to do it? Because my old host had my DirectAdmin username (goldenair) then put _forum so it was 'goldenair_forum' but I can't do that with my reseller package. Thanks.

Hy all, I search the list of fields of the various tables and their meanings Do you know if there is that somewhere? if it exists of course. For example in the table "pilots", there are the fields "rankid" and "ranklevel" Rankid I understood that it was referring to the table "rank" (fields rankid) but "ranklevel" I do not see what he's referring to Same, always in the table "pilots" the field "gid" ?? what is the value (ex: VAbbVIDP or LFBOLICJ) in advance thank you for your answers Best regards

Hi all, I have uploaded the phpVMS files to my site, and set the permissions (IE passed stage one of the installer). However, I am a little confused by stage two - the database stuff. I want to know: 1. How do I create a MySQL database for phpVMS, that will allow me to pass stage two of the installer? What do I need to enter into each of the installer fields? 2. Is ALL the necessary stuff free? Thanks very much.

Hello. Would anyone here know how to do delete a row from a MySQL database after a certain date? so lets say someone puts in 11/12/2012 in a form text-box and is sent to a table in a MySQL database, when the date 11/12/2012 comes, the row in the MySQL database will delete? I'm trying to make a booking module, and I don't get any errors, but it doesn't update the flight schedules. I think it has something to do with the mySQL update. Hi Nabeel, I set up the 'phpvms' va software and it worked perfectly and this morning it surprized me with the following prompt: "Fatal error: Function name must be a string in C:xampphtdocsphpvmscoreclassesMySQL.class.php on line 134" Where (which folder) can I fix it? The other part of the website works fine except phpvms and the phpbb3 forum inturface. Both of them return the prompt above. when I try to access them. There is a security hole affecting ALL versions of phpVMS. The security whole affects Auth.class.php and can be exploited via the login form. I have submitted a pull request on github, and i suggest a patch is released ASAP.
