Hello, I want to create a fuction/module which would send a email automatically to the pilot if his / her bid is removed automatically from the system due to not flying it in the specified time. Could this be possible? Regards

Hi, I was wondering if there is a possibility to use a three letter code for Pilot ID's and two letter code for flight numbers? For example, FEU for pilots and FE for flight numbers?

Hello everyone. I have the cron job setup to run once a week on my site to do all the maintenance and when it runs, it resets the flights count on pilot roster and public profiles and in pilot center to 0. I found this in the maintenance.php file : MainController::Run('Maintenance', 'resetpirepcount'); MainController::Run('Maintenance', 'resethours'); Is it safe to say that I can get rid of the resetpirepcount part to stop this from happening? I get LOADS of inquirys every week as to why their flight count is 0 again. I tell them it is the cron job but in their eyes we do not know what we are doing and a few have left over this already. Hello all, Afaik the fuel price in phpvms is 3.10 USD/lb by default, right? At least that's what is still set in mine... Now I found this site though, and I'm confused: http://www.iata.org/publications/economics/fuel-monitor/Pages/price-analysis.aspx It says here that in Europe and US the fuel price is roughly 290 cents per gallon? Now, A gallon of jet-a is apperently 6.6 lb depending on the temperature, so that would mean the fuelprice is not 3.10 usd per lb but 2.9 usd per gallon, which is 6.6lb which would come down to approx 43 cents per lb? anyone can shed a light on this, would be much appreciated by more than just myself, I'm sure

Hello, I am a season CEO of a previous VA that was using VAFS previously. After a while we went our seperate ways and I decieded to make a new VA using PHP VMS. With the previous VA that I had I made a BEAUTIFUL website by using 1 and 1 .com and I would put the "Modules" (Va windows for pilot stats, Airline info, live maps, ..etc) directly onto the site. I was curious if there is anyway to do this with PHP-VMS? I know the entire system runs off of the website but I was just curious. I have an odd question that i don't see a thread for.... I exported the schedule we have to work on it quicker and then import it. I see that the flighttype section is empty to I go through and add the C, P, H respectively for the type it is. After importing the flight i noticed all pireps have a negative profit so I exported the schedules again. All the Types are again missing. It appears that the system on input is defaulting all flight to passenger loads with cargo prices....I verified the .csv has the right price. Not sure why it is doing this....any ideas on help would be great. Would like to see positive profits again..... Also noticed that the system is charging …

Hi all, Firstly i would like to apologise if this is in the wrong section! I have a query, my VA has over 300 aircraft and i'm going through a phase of updating certain information within the fleet etc, doing this through the php admin center is painstakingly long, so i was wondering whether it would be possible to add aircraft in a similar way of adding schedule i.e in a .CSV format?

Hi all, I'm having an issue where only 2 aircraft are showing up on the ACARS map. I've spoken with the developer of the ACARS and he is unsure as to why this is happening - he has tried to fix it but he's out of options. The vms_acarsdata table is only populating 2, however on the ACARS Admin panel it does detect 4 people flying and it logs the PIREPs for all of them. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here's the deal. I want to add a new field to the schedules table. I've done this before with the bids but it was a bit easier in that case because when you went to edit the php files there was very little to change, whereas with the schedules there's a bit more. Question is, is there an easy way to do this? And is there any way to prevent the changes being overwritten by updates? I know the usual way round the update overwrite issue is to create a new class file but this isn't going to work in this case because I need to modify an existing one. Any ideas?

Hello, We are currently having problems. Someone was signing up and he did his registration fine. Then i get an email saying a pilot has registered, so i go to the admin center and its not there. No one else had accepted it, but yet i was still getting the email? Can anyone help please? Myles

Hi All, Hopefully just a quick question. I have just installed PHPVMS and on the whole it looks ok. I have just clicked on the "register" link though and I get a message saying that the module "registration" doesn't exist. I have looked for something on here that points me to a script or module which is for the registration but can't find anything that looks like it's the right thing. Hello all, Did a search, but didn't see any info on this issue. When I go into the phpVMS admin and click Airline Operations > Flight Schedules & Routes it is blank. However, if I check the database all my flights and routes are there. Whew.... I've tried multiple browser and multiple PC's to rule out a browser cache issue. Any thoughts? Jerry
