Hi Folks, We updated our website last weekend and somewhere in the mix we seem to have misplaced our transfer hours. We uploaded the new site from the test server to a different directory and fine tuned it so as not to disturb the live site and then copied over the local config and changed the directory to go live. I have double checked the local config and the transfer hours in rank is set to true....what did I miss? Thanks

Am new to the world of phpVMS, but hav set up a VA using it but need to change a few colours. The attached image shows the text that I need to alter. Both the BLUE and BLACK text are what I need to change. Ideally I could do with it all being white or light grey. I am fully aware of hex colour codes as have used them in html sites in past. What I do not know is which of the .css files contain the parts that I need to alter. Would be most grateful for a few quick pointers. Richard

Hi there, I was looking for any links to NOTAM pages or charts, because the old ones in Flight Briefing are outdated and don't work anymore. I tried capturing links from the FAA, but it seems they don't want you to capture their NOTAMs anymore.

Hi, My name is Ricardo Maigre, and I'm a CEO of Friends Virtual Airways. We have phpvms with randon flights active and working good now. But I get a litle problem. All pilots can do Bids on Bid already schudele Bids. Please how can I block new schudeles when pilots have schudeles to finish yet on randon flights. Hey I've got some emails from new pilots who are trying to register to my VA but they cannot complete the registration. They say that after they type in the reCaptcha and press the "Registration" button they rather than a successfully complete page, they get a refreshed same registration page they are on. This is has been unedited by me, so i don't know what the issue could be. Thanks

Hi all, Okay, the commitment is made, my own VA. I would like your advice as to how to become a more confident administrator and better operator. Should I study and learn: HTML, PHP and CSS? Will basic understanding of these programming languages help me to administer my VA? Any books, DVDs, video tutorials, that you suggest? Not even enough knowledge to even be called a Noob yet! I was playing around with acars and after I logged of and shut down xplane using XACARS 20 min later its still showing I'm in a "current flight" Could this be due to a refresh rate and check on Xacars/acars file. I'm still fairly new to acars. KC

Good day all. I have a quick question regarding the custom acars program. Our VA allows for charter flights and we are trying to figure out a way to fly them with acars running. So far all we can fly using our acars is flights that is on the schedule. Does anyone have any suggestions on how we can do this? There has been a thread at our VA in the forums and so far all we can do is manually enter the pirep once we are done the flight. All of us would rather file the flight with acars. Again if anyone got any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks, Slushie23

Hi, i know there is a few topics about departure boards and such. But well there mostly about where to find one to use or to get one they have paid for working. This does not relate directly to phpvms so if the moderator wants to decline or remove that's cool. Anyway here is problem. I have made a little dep and arr board it works great but the problem is i can only make it read flights that have only 1 day set. So the script look at todays date witch would be 6 then compares that to the database and then shows any flight that has the same day. Then sorts ect. The problem is i have no idea how to make it so it reads the row and looks for a 6. By this i mean. If you h…

When i am trying to edit a route or add a route or anything trying to fix a route this is what i am getting this??? Notice: The template file "/home5/starall1/public_html//admin/templates/core_error.tpl" doesn't exist in /home5/starall1/public_html/core/classes/TemplateSet.class.php on line 248 How can i fix this?

Myself and another pilot are having trouble with FSFK sending a PIREP to the website. We are both trying to send a non-scheduled flight. Our custom kACARS alows it. FSFK seems to not allow it. I am on phpvms_Extended Schedule does not exist. Please update this manually. Anyone run into this problem?

Hi, Quick question, I have noticed that there is an issue with total flight times on pilot profiles, and I'm not sure how to fix it, or if it's even an issue. It might be me just miscalculating something. Let me give you an example. I have logged three flights on my profile. My total flight time shows as 3.25. Now to take the times of the three flights, these are 00:38, 01:14, 01:33, which works out after adding as 205 minutes / 60 = 3.41 hours. Is there a hidden trick I've missed or maybe some kind of an issue with my settings? I wouldn't like to leave it like that, I imagine it could cause potentially some issues later on.

I got a question concering the A/C Type - i used Kacars for a short Testflight, LOWG - LOWW. The flight should be done with a Dash 8, that's what it says in the Schedule, however, using Kacars i changed it to an MD11, and filed the PIREP - so far so good. But now, the submitted PIREP still shows the Dash, only if i view the log i can see that the MD11 was used - is it possible to show the actual aircraft used ? 'Cause if i view my PIREP's it says "Dash" as flown aircraft

We have installed the Touchdown Statistics modification on our website Virtual Blue (flyvblue.org), when we delete a pilot that has a landing rate that is in the top 10 the pilot is referred to as ‘100’ is there any way to get this to say ‘Retired Pilot’ or to not have them show at all in the list? I have attached two screenshots. Any help with this would be very much appreciated!

We have the a new install for virtual carrier wing 3 (1.0.1.4) ever since we updated to have the fligh track record every 20 seconds we have had issues where the flight does not record properly for lomng flights. I know you were talking to one of our guys and it was indicated to change.. As quoted My question is what php am I looking for here so I can edit this? Wood
