I've looked around for a bit and haven't come across this yet, I apologize in advance if it has already been answered. I need to change the schedule search from the default drop down list, to a search box. Both for the departure and arrival airports. I have a fairly large DB of airports and it heavy lags the site when it attempts to load them all under the drop down options. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I'm using 5.5.x

Hi everyone I've added in a pilot field for peoples VATSIM ID in the admin panel, and it is showing in the table as "vatsimid". I've then copied the text in the pilots_list.tpl that pertains to the addition of a custom field, and where it pulls the field name based on the pilotid, I've called it both "VATSIM ID" and "vatsimid", and neither are getting any results. I've added "<th>VATSIM ID</th> to the table headings, so the column is showing, but the dashed lines don't stretch across into the new column and it is completely blank. I'm obviously doing something wrong but I can't figure it out! Any ideas anyone? Also, how can I sort the pilot list by desce…

Hi, I open this thread to ask two questions: 1.- How can I see the amount of memory PHPVms is using? to monitor resources. 2.- I have doubts in the phpvms_sessions table, it seems that the sessions of that table are not eliminated and I have more than 4000 records. Many of these registers put Pilotid = 0, which also makes me wonder who is the pilotid = 0 ... (Could it be SmartCARS?). Hello all, I'd like to Auto Accept PIREPs. Now I can auto accept PIREPs, but other informations are not change. Maybe you will say that can make a fake PIREP. That's not problem. I think add a cron job will solve this problem... This php files is located in "core" But it didn't make any changes, even it can't accept PIREPs. I'm not good at PHP... so i need your help Is there anybody tried to auto accept PIREPs?

G'day Guys, I have recently appointed a dev guy within my VA, and I'm trying to allow him access to the dev site to work. Currently i have setup the account so he can access the files, but he can also access the local.config.php, and other sensitive files that contain passwords and information i don't want him to get at, how can i prevent him from accessing these files ? i have tried the permissions but that doesn't seem to stop the account. I setup the ftp account through my host's cpanel option. I can see that i can password protect a directory, but why not a file ? I'm not sure you guys have done this before but if someone has, any help would be great. Cheers Tylo…

Good day, I have for some reason not a phpvms_ledger table. I do not understand why, maybe because I doesnt have the latest update. I did not do the update due to the many modifations. The site function fine, but the finances does not update when selling/repairing aircraft, not showing the expenses, sales income. Any help, or a SQL query that can add the table? Best Regards, Jakes

I dont know if its down or what but i updated, got no errors and by the way i love 1.2, just thought i would say that. But back to the topic the acars map dosent seem to show in firefox....shows just fine and dandy in IE...so i just thought i would throw that out there... And also when i updated for some reason not all but there are a couple of flights that when from having aircraft to now having any....nothing big just thought i would let you know of this as well.

Hi Im new in useing xacars and have some problem. i upload the serverscript.zip file and creat the tabels in sql.also i creat new user , flight and edit conection information. when i insert the flight No in Xacars client flight information shown but the start acars bottom is inactive. some one can help me .and its need to creat any folder in miy site like FSacars? tanks

All, On my new website when new Pilot's sign up or even anyone, I can edit there profile eg. ranks and it says saved the settings. But the ranks arent showing as changing when i go back and look at the list of pilot's Same As New Pilots i assign them a rank and save it but when we accept them they go to the standard new hire but i have deleted that rank from my website Im clueless Cheers guys Website: www.aafv.com.au

i have been looking into using the FSACARS system but i am sin a loose end as i have tried several times to get it wrking on to my airline but i have no idea how to install and the files and to what folders,,, the creatdb.sql will not install as i dont no where to install correctly please could some make it easy and point me in the guided path

Hello all, I'll have on each page within the admin center, in the upper left corner, an error called sidebar_dashboard.php. Due to this error I can't add anything, because the sidebar is gone. I appears to happen to all the pages not only the dashboard. Does anybody know an fix for this? Thanks KLM

Im sure this has already been answered but I could not find anything related, within the recent past.... Is it possible to make custom profile fields required before successfully allowing the application to be submitted? I have the questions showing up on the application but people are only filling out the main required questions and leaving our other fields empty....makes for a blank profile since they dont fill the info in. Is there a way to address the issue? possibly make all fields required? Thank you and sorry if I am bringing up old posts...

Hi Nabeel, I have created a custom field when registering "vatsimid" i want to pull all that field values in to a plain text web page, i thought the values would have been in the pilots table but the're not, i have had a poke about but any assistance would be appreciated. G'day Guys, Ive spent the last few hours updating my registration emails to incorporate more information, making it easier for new pilots to orientate themselves with the VA. I am having trouble just displaying the 3 digits of the Pilot ID, so i want just 001 not QFA001 to display. Hello, I am trying top have a stat on the front page showing all pilots that are active. The problem is that retired pilots are also classed as active, giving a misleading figure. In my thinking I need to count the pilots that have a status of not retired but am unsure what query to use? Thanks in advance, Greeham

Hi, I am trying to file a pirep at my VA, but I keep getting the following error: Deprecated: Non-static method CodonEvent::hasStop() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in /core/modules/PIREPS/PIREPS.php on line 478 How do I fix that problem as I am unable to file thus others will be unable, it I think is causing a problem for smartcars too, as it wont file the pirep.
