Hey guys, When a potential pilot (or somebody interested for whatever reason) comes first to my website, I'd like to show them some kind of video/demo/intro. obviously, return visitors shouldn't see this. detecting a logged-in pilot is easy enough, but how to check if somebody comes for first time to my page? thanks in advance

Hey guys, I wonder if anyone could help me on this one: I want to check if a visitor is on a certain page, and then have the page display something. reason is: I have a page with a forum and a chatbox. So if somebody goes to this page, I want the homepage to show this, so that other pilots also be tempted and visit the forum/chatbox to meet their colleagues. Obviously, if the user moves to the next page, this should also be detectable. can this be done?

Hello everyone, I have a problem with the enconding. Can anybody help me how I can change the enconding to "UTF-8"? I don´t get where I can do that. I already have edit the app.config to UTF 8 but it dont works. Sorry for my English.

I'm trying to create a table in the pilot_public_profile.tpl that will show the Aircraft Usage Statistics of every aircraft type that the pilot uses, so I can award them with an aircraft typerating award. I am trying to import flights but getting no aircraft and it was skipped but I have the aircraft in my fleet but I have the right ICAO codes for the aircraft but it looks like the csv file has B752 in the aircraft colom and my aircract names are name wright as Boeing 737-200 any way to fix this? tanks

I am having an issue with putting a LIVE acars map on my frontpage. As shown below i see the table where pilot information is shown but the Google ACARS map doesnt show. Mind you it is a fresh install of phpvms and the regular index.php/acars map is visible but not when i try to put it into the front page. I figured it was a JS problem and looking at chrome it says i have a few issues but i dont know what is wrong with those JS files as the dont show any errors when i go to the LIVE FLIGHTS page to see the acars map. Any help? Much appreciated!

When setting up pilot group to give them certain access to the admin area, how do I restrict access to the SimPilot and all Add On module(s)? There is not an option in the Group Permissions area when editing the groups! Thanks!

I have recently purchased a domain and hosting from ipage.com Following the instructions from the internet, I have done the following to attempt to install PHPVMS on the newly acquired domain: - Setup a PHPVMS Database within the iPage MySQL Control Panel. I ensured that all permissions were allowed. - Installed and connected to my FTP server using Filezilla. - Dragged the phpvms folders into the \ Root of my FTP. Hello phpVMS community, I haven't been able to find a solution yet for this error, so I'll see if it's appropriate to start it as a new one. On my schedules, there are a bunch of strict standards when finding flights causing pilots unable to get to bid on flights to fly for us. You can kind of figure out that it's an issue. Hello, I hope this is the right thread, my problem with FSFK is that if you send the perfect report but does not send the images as seen in the video where it says how to configure, work with other systems management and FSFK had in the tables BD for managing images and amounted to a file (WEB PIREP), which amounted to tables given directory, but now I see qui upload any images. Someone tell me why not oque to do to get the images sent by the FSFK. Thank you all (Resolved)

Hello all, I'm making tests to include Natracks in my flight planning. For now, I'm only checking if the route parse will be done well by copy-pasting the complete IFR route including Natrack in the "Route" field, like this one between CYUL and EGLL: AGLUK CEFOU PORTI 4750N 5040N 5230N 5220N LIMRI XETBO NIBOG UN551 BEL UL10 WAL UY53 NUGRA BNN1B Look at the Natracks points: 4750N 5040N 5230N 5220N The route parse, including the route map, ignores the 5230N waypoint. If I change it for another waypoint, like 5330N instead, it's ok, 5230N shows. If I simply delete another waypoint in the list, for example 5220N, it's also ok, 5230N shows. Hello , i have a Problem with FSFK Pireps, i do my FSFK Setting as shown in the PDF from Eddie Baker - LIVE Map works fine, but when i send my Pirep FSFK says - "1 Pirep successfull send" - then opens a webpage "file:///C:/Users/Volker/Documents/FS%20Flight%20Keeper/Reports/Services/Flug%20ETSN%20nach%20ETSI%20-%2010042011%20-%20SVCRSP.html" and shows me "Schedule does not exist. Please update this manually." Pictures are uploaded to the FTP-Folder and Schedule is booked!
