I have a little problem in my VA. I searched in the forum but i not found this case. In Aerolineas Argentinas virtual, pilots ascend for two conditions. Hours and a examination. A pilot only can take the examination for the next rank if he has the required hours. But, if the pilot fails the examination, he remains in the range that has now. Hello All Is there any way to make the LIVE ACARS map in this similar way? Just show the current location, and draw the path travelled, and then yeh the remaining distance like how it is there on the map. I think nobody has come up with this waiting for this MAP Good Day.

Hello all, I had just finished installing phpVMS and noticed that the admin center is just short of working. I cannot see any Pilot Reports, Pilots themselves, Airports, or Schedules. I had done install/checkinstall.php and my webhost is xampp. How do I fix this? I am disappointed that I can't run a virtual airline on my OWN webserver...

So, i started to translate JAL Virtual's site to Japanese, translating my skins .tpl files to Japanese in Dreamweaver, i planned to do the same for phpvms base .tpl files. But of course i wanted to test it out first, so i translated my core_nav, and live flight .tpl files uploaded them and got not Japanese Characters but all out random "@56vvv". Why is this happening? I am using Firefox and i have a Japanese language pack installed on Firefox and Windows. Screen of the issue (yes you get to see my new site) and yes i know the nav bar is not placed properly. Dreamweaver image on the right, result on the left. This is what im getting on the other pages i translated too.

Hi Guys, Can only see white pages? http://buffaloairwaysvirtual.com/index.php/pages/partners - Just had to do a full re-upload of the site after someone decided to hack into it although didn't do anything to the databases. I've re-uploaded and uploaded them again but nothing works. Also the ACARS Map isn't showing. Can someone help? Been bashing my head against the wall for the past 3 hours. Thomas.

I was curious how someone might go about adding a section to the pilot list, that kept pilots who were a big part of a VA, but who have passed away. Kind of like a "gone but not forgotten" reference, so that they would always be listed on the pilot list.

How do you guys handle website development with an active site? Do you have another domain, or sub-domain. Or is running a local server such as easyphp the best way to do that. My site is up and running fine, however I am wanting to develop a wider skin and don't want to risk messing something up at my main site.

Hello, I've been getting an error for days. I've reinstalled phpvms three times but it still is present. Just after installing it, I try to login and I get this error first: You must be logged in to access this feature! Then when I click login again I can see the admin center, logout, file a new pirep, view my bids ( just as if I normally logged in), etc. But when I click on View pilot center for example I get this error: Error! You are already logged in! I've been searching this forum for days but couldn't find any answer. I checked my database, created new ones, etc and still the same issue. Hello, I need a div between my header and footer for every page but the homepage is there any php or anything I could use so on the homepage the div wouldn't be visible. Or would I have to add the div manually on each page? Thanks

I am getting a 500 Internal Server Error in the Admin Panel only, everything else works fine. I contacted my website host (Arvixe) and they said it would have to do with phpvms. I think my previous post failed to post.... Until a few weeks ago I was able to login to the site as administrator and do all administrative activities. Today when I use those same credentials (I have not changed them) results in me being brought to a login page asking for my login credentials. I doesn't go further than that. However, when I used the kACARS Free client 1.0.1 (latest) using those same credentials, I managed to log in to the system using the kACARS client but NOT on the website. I then used the password reset and it said it sent a password reset link to my account but I never receive it. I checked the email address on the database and it is correct. But …

Hi! I am working on a phpVMS site that I installed on my local PC - with use of XAMPP. If I would like others to view this site from around the world, I am assuming this is what I should do (but it is not giving me the result I need): 1. Configure my firewall to allow port 80. 2. Configure port forwarding for port 80. 3. Assuming my external IP address (using whois website) is xx.xx.xxx.xxx and my phpVMS site folder is called 'phpVMS-VA', I would assume for someone to view the site would have to put in their browser: xx.xx.xxx.xxx/phpVMS-VA What am I doing wrong here? it was pointed out to me that even though we changed the fuel weight it was giving the numbers on phpvms, its still giving kilograms after being changed to pounds example one of my pilots did a flight KLAX-KMSP started with 54822lbs of fuel and ended with a use of 34939lbs. (by far everything is still accurate) when submitted and phpvms does all of its calculations, it says 15848.1 fuel used @ 0.8 / unit if you convert the 34939lbs to kilograms you get the roughly 15848kgs which phpvms is saying is pounds.... there is something wrong here becuase the way i am being charged for fuel is still in kilograms even though the back end settings are in pounds. Hi there, I am trying to run if(MainController::$activeModule = 'Frontpage') inside layout.tpl, it seems like its working but its really not. I am trying to present diffrent div's for a homepage and diffrent for all other modules. Hi I have just setup a free PHPVMS system for myself and my friends. It is running I installed everything including the module of the kCARS free program to work. I can login and start the flight, after I land, taxi to a gate, parking brake on and engine shutdown, I then click stop record, and submit flight. I get a comformation that it has been submitted, but when I look on the website it is not there, and my flight which I just submited is still under my bids.
