Hello, I am coding a state of the art pilot center that includes custom data to each pilot. Lets say we have 3 different ranks: First Officer, Captain, Senior Captain And we have 3 trainers: John D, Jane D, John DA I am trying to make it so if your rank is First Officer, it will say your trainer is John D. If you rank is Captain your trainer is Jane D. I assume it would be an if statement like if rank= First Officer then show John Doe Obviously I don't know what I am talking about with the code, but I assume it is something like that. Can someone help me out? Thanks!

just one thing we noticed in my VA. Sometimes it can take 12 hours for an admin to authorise a Pirep on my VA, no major drama;s But, if a pilot flies from A to B, and the pirep is not yet validated by Admin, the aircraft still shows available to others at A Is there are way to lock out any aircraft pending pireps, until authorised, to stop duplicate use?

Hello all! I completed a flight today, submitted a PIREP just fine and closed the flight. The problem was that the Live Map was still showing the flight to be active a few hours after it was submitted. I thought starting a new flight would fix this issue, but it just replaced the old one after it was closed. I am using 000webhost as my hosting sight and kACARS_Free as my ACARS system and have had few issues before this. I was wondering how one, as soon as they close their flight, has their flight removed from the map. Any help is appreciated! Sean

Hello, i hope i'll find someone able to help me because i've try several solutions without any result. My problem is that i want bids to auto cancel after 24 ou 48 hours if the pilot doesn't fly for his bid. I've try to setup auto cancellation in local.config.php like that: # Whether to close any bids after a certain amount of time Config::Set('CLOSE_BIDS_AFTER_EXPIRE', true); Config::Set('BID_EXPIRE_TIME', '24'); so, no result after several tries. Hello there, I was wondering how to create html pages that use the layout template and that do not need to be edited by the system and the editor inside Admin Panel, but rather via HTML. I'll explain why because you may think that I'm trying to cheat the system, or I'm bollocking the product. The product is in fact very fantastic and functional, yet I find that remaking pages everytime you reinstall phpVMS (happens to me quite often, as I'm developing) is quite annoying, because you lose your pages. It would be nice if there would be a way to create pages and link them to the menu. I would appreciate any tips. Thanks, HighFlyer

How do I make a hotspot on the header that links to somewhere. Specifically, I have the VATSIM logo on my header, and want to make a clickspot so it links to www.vatsim.org when clicked. I know how to do it in dreamweaver, but I'm not able to use dreamweaver. I have no clue what code to put in where, plz help.

A couple of days ago, Inwas going through the various pages of our site and discovered that there is an issue on our Registration page - a reCaptcha error advising "Invalid domain for site key" This of course means that no one can apply to be a pilot. Worse than that, I don't know how to fix it other than I need to get new keys (from google I think) and paste two keys - public and secret- somewhere. I am not very proficient in playing with these files, so I need a good explanation...anyone up for that? thanks

Whenever deleting an item the page should ask if your sure. There might also be some mechanism for deleting multiple entries at once.Certain staff members should receive notification on certain events (Pilot Join, PIREP FILED) etc.Add the ability to sort displayed scheduled (By Flight Number, By Departure Time, By Arrival Time, By Flight Leanth, etc)

Hello, I think that there are a problem with the script that upgrate the current version. If you see this two screenshots you will see that in the first image, the system says that I don't have updated the system version, and this invites me to upgrate. Sorry guys, but the way the download section is setup, it makes it very hard to work out exactly what version / download I should be using. I read somewhere that its recommended to use the lastest Beta due to bug features, is this correct ? If so, do I update, or install the lastest Beta ? How come none of the .zip files have a revision reference on them ? e.g phpvms_update_rev780.zip ? I have so many zip files now I dont know which is which, and without clear knowledge on what I should be downloading is only making it more and more confusing. Hi, in my company there are some Staff position like the Event Coordinator, Flight Operations Coordinator, Membership Coordinator etc. I want to know if is possible that the Flight Operations can see only the Airline Operations Section (in the admin center), or the Membership Coordinator can see only the Pilot & Group Section and the Pilot Report Section(in the admin center), for example!!!. Hi all, I'm currently going through a stage of trying to move our Mass Emails over from the local hosting to a dedicated system designed for mass email marketing as my VA has gone over 100 active pilots and our hosting keeps shutting our email system down whenever we mass email due to 'spam protection' I've spent hours on the forums and I've updated the Local config php as well as other associated files to enter the SMTP/Auth/User data, tries TLS, SSL etc and have had no luck. I've even correctly set up the DNS and MX records (and reverted the MX Records for further testing) MailGun seems to make mention of an API requirement however it doesn't seem to be m…
