I have searched and can't find the answer to this question. When you start a flight you have say 10,000lbs on board, you then land and have 2,000 on board. Now there is obviously some fuel used for Taxi as the 10,000lbs is on takeoff and the 2,000lbs is on landing. Which makes sense, but the 2,000lbs I take it is not counted as an expense to the Airline only fuel used with some calculations for Taxi? Is this correct?

Hello All, I'm new to phpVMS and I'm not a programmer by any means. I have a friend working to help me get some things set up. I've noticed that the fuel weight in the system is currently set to KG. and I'm trying to find where to change it to LBS. Our ACARS application is capturing and reporting in LBS but the site is converting back to KG. Any help appreciated! Mike

So i love the feature of the live fuel prices but i was wondering if there could be a way that only buy fuel that you actually use so you don't buy fuel you don't need?

The average fuel burn on a 737 is 2,000 - 2,500 kg per hour. Then how does this make sense: I believe FSAcars is exporting the fuel calculations to phpVMS as pounds, not kilograms. In fact, I am positive. Is there away to add in a conversion or change this somehow? Due to this, we are spending almost twice as much money on fuel as we should be. Thanks!

Hello guys, I wanted your help because I do not work correctly the "new pilots" If a pilot is enrolled in my company, but it is still not accepted, I do not see this pilot in the "new pilots." If you confirm the pilot from admin pannel, this form disappears from the "new riders" and it makes me see dpilots registered for a long time and not in order of date of registration. Hi Nabeel, would it be possible to add a notes section or history in the admin section of the view pilots. I would like to be able to add comments about pilots which would be for admin eyes only like a private history tab or something like that, just somewhere to keep pertinent information about the pilot.

Sorry, but I am having trouble(again) with my frontpage/css/header. If you look at my site: http://www.canadianclassicairlines.com/CPC/ There is a large gap from the bottom of the dropdown menu to the top of the news there. I need to seal that gap I have been playing with everything from the .css file to the header.tpl/frontpage_main.tpl and am having no luck. I feel I am overthinking this. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Guys, I created the following lists on my schedule, code flightnum depicao depgate arricao arrgate route aircraft flightlevel distance deptime arrtime flighttime notes price flighttype daysofweek enabled I added depgate/arrgate - So they are already pre-established gates. I want to be able to add them to my pilot brief, what can I do? I've been trying and trying but it doesn't seem to work. It'd be just like adding an extra feature. Please help! Regards, Zeke

I am getting this error for the "Latest Flights" gcmap: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/luvswavi/public_html/lib/skins/airlines/frontpage_main.tpl on line 57 Line 57 is: foreach($flights as $flight) Also, the Map is on the left side of the webpage, how can I center it? Hey guys i am using a bit of code to bring back all pireps for the logged in user, $flights = PIREPData::findPIREPS($userinfo->pilotid); Which works great, i need to put a limit on what is fetched say 20 or something and im having trouble getting the right code. I have searched all over the forums and have not found anything on it. The gcmap went from flat showing my pilots 10 last flights to being a huge globe map showing the flights. Is there any way to keep the map in flat view? I searched gcmaps website and found no solution!

I know when I set up the schedules it asks for an aircraft to fly that route, so I copied the same tail number for each set of schedules. i.e. Flights out of EGKK are in the 100's is G-JST Flights out of KBOS are in the 200's is G-FSCJ Does the pilot have to fly that aircraft or can he fly what every aircraft is the fleet at that airport at that time?

Hi all, my name is Antonio Sessa and i'm webmaster of new Virtual Airline : vvair.it This VA is the official va of www.volovirtuale.com , the first italian flightsimulation portal. We've choice to install phpVMS for our site. I've first problem after installation : if i change anything in General Setting Page (format date, google key etc) and click on SAVE SETTINGS i receive "Settings were saved" message but the setting was lost! I've set right permission on folder core and lib Anyone can help me ?

This will be fixed with an admin option in the next update, but for now, download the zip, and extract the "createzips.php" file into your site root (where index.php is). Then run it. It will generate a signature for all the pilot's in your VA. createsigs.zip
