Every phpVMS install can be linked to a central stage - bringing everyone's profits, finances, passengers, loads, all into account, to a central area for ranks and more, to build a virtual airline industry. There are rankings based on flights and financials and pilots, eventually leading to virtual stocks and market worth. This will hopefully bring about some real, tangible competition, and some consolidation of everything that's out there. Several VAs are testing and whatnot. The site is: http://www.vacentral.net

The current situation with vaCentral is as follows; I took over the hosting and maintenance of both the phpVMS and vaCentral sites in January of 2015. Nabeel's career has continued to move him to higher positions requiring more and more attention which in turn made it very hard for him to maintain any consistency with these projects. My intentions in taking over were (and still are) to continue the development of a version 3 and keep the websites up and running. As they say, good intentions never go unpunished. The source field for all pireps sent to vaCentral has been missing in all versions of phpVMS. If you are using version <= 936 you will need to add the following line to CentralData.class.php find (appx line 387) $pirep_xml->addChild('revenue', $pirep->revenue); and add $pirep_xml->addChild('source', $pirep->source); Final config should look like $pirep_xml->addChild('revenue', $pirep->revenue); $pirep_xml->addChild('source', $pirep->source); } If you are using one of my 5.x versions you will have to make a slightly different change which you can find here -> https://github.com/D...a1e0f72f10e517d This will allow vaC…

The vaCentral API is being permanently changed to api.vacentral.net . The api.phpvms.net URL will cease to operate by 9/15/15. You can tell what server your airline is currently hooked to using the live flights page on the vacentral site. Please change your api url in your local.config.php file prior to 9/15/15. Hi, I have been trying to get CCFTracker set up with my VA (crew.tcxvirtual.com). I have downloaded and installed the module to /core/modules, but when I login using my pilot ID and password, I get this error: https://ibb.co/rbx8L2W For those of you incapable of following links, it says "Login error: the connection to the VA site has timed out!" How can I fix this?

Well, this happens the last two days: for every flight we make, our score goes down!! Since the VA got in vacentral, every flight was giving 1 point (sometimes 2 and i do not know why), but the last two days we get penalized when fly!! funny No change have been made to our schedules or pilots, and the flights made are as scheduled (aircraft, time etc), i cannot understand how this happens

At this moment we are using the flightboard made by Jasper Bussemaker but this is running on Flash, so not usefull anymore within a year. What are the users here using as a flightboard. I saw a very nice one at https://www.skyva.hu/en/ but have now idea which one thats is. Regards, Cor

Hi We are having a problem where the "Airline Latest Events" section of our airline is not updating on vacentral. this can bee seen here http://www.vacentral...eo_geoairlines Although the last updated date on the page shows that updates are happening the data in the Airline latest events section is not updating and staying static. All PIREPS are getting filed with vacentral and can be seen on the last 100 flights page so it just seems to be a problem with this particular section. As I am quite a noob can someone give me any advice on what to check so that I can track down why this is not working. Thanks

Hey there, I'm the CEO of KLM Virtual. For about 2 or 3 days now I have been experiencing a problem with uploading my pireps to the vacentral system. Hi, I've noticed that I now have 4 PIREPS waiting to be sent to VACentral. When I try to send it manually it will not work. I get the below errors. Hi, Please can somebody help? I have searched all over and cant find the answer to resolve my issue. Hi guys, I was just wondering.. will there be a server where all the virtual airlines will fly together? I mean, we can see eachother on the live map at Vacentral.net but we don't really fly together. I know that there is vatsim of course, but i was just wondering if there will be a phpvms dedicatied server in the future.. :-) Thanks guys! Lucas

Hello, I would like to know a code with which the network in which a pilot has flown or is flying online can be detected (IVAO / VATSIM or OFFLINE). In my airline, taking into account the current regulations, pilots who do not fly ONLINE in IVAO or VATSIM their flights are rejected. We use smartCARS but I have detected that even if they select fly "ONLINE IN IVAO", for example, they are not flying in IVAO and I want to prevent that. I really appreciate the help! HI Nabeel, The past couple of days have been a massive headache, i wont bore you with the details but i have to reinstall apache among other things after an os upgrade to Ununtu 10.4. Now my pireps are not sending and if i send them manually i get, FAILED exporting PIREP #1512 - No response from API server with the list of pirep numbers. Currently were at 31 waiting to be exported. I also changed the name on VA central a couple of days ago as well so that may also have something to do with it.

hi, Everything appears to be sending to VAcentral however it doesn't seem to be counting hours. Just wondering is this a bug or have we done something wrong? The Airlines code is FRS if you want to have a look into it. Regards, Stephen.

Can someone please explain to me why 'greased landings' have become popular and seemingly encouraged on VACentral and the associated stats/scores? Greased landings are UNSAFE and surely should not be encouraged due to the amount of runway used/needed and the possibility of ending up through the nearest fast food restaurants plate glass windows should a gust of wind choose to hit the aircraft? I would like to give some feedback on the ranking system from the perspective of ZonExecutive. We have moved from rank #24 (old) to rank #132 (new). Our policy on deleting pilots is as follows: Once you've completed your first flight, your account will never be suspended or deleted for inactivity. You are free to take a break, come back and fly again at any time. However, if you do not fly within 100 days of your registration, we'll automatically delete your account unless you've logged in within the past 30 days, or have posted at least once on our forums. I had to pull my logo off one of my VA's to adjust the contrast. When I try and upload it again, I get this message. This error (HTTP 500 Internal Server Error) means that the website you are visiting had a server problem which prevented the webpage from displaying. For more information about HTTP errors, see Help. I changed the text and saved, no issue - but attempting to re-install the logo and save, this is the issue. Nothing has changed except I gave it a little more contrast as I mentioned.

Hello, grabbed a module from crazycreations for Auto Assign. I installed it. It works but when I hit Generate routes this pops up: Deprecated: Non-static method AutoAssignData::getstartitineraryid() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in /core/modules/AutoAssign/AutoAssign.php on line 201 CC forums are quiet dead so that’s why I’m posting here. Seems more a PHP issue than their mod. Many help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, there are some issues about vacentral that i do not know how to fix: 1. the logo and/or other images do not upload 2. in the VA details page, the graph of daily pireps is inactive 3. when a pirep arrives, it is counted in the VAs list, before it is accepted. So, sometimes the flights number is not correct. Hi all, We have been looking at vaCentral for quite sometime and finally opened an account and setup our VA. On the home page of vaCentral it says "you can implement your code to talk to vaCentral through XML." When registering, there was a link to a user guide, but it was a dead link and we have a couple of questions: 1. As we are not using phpVMS, but another automated system our pilots use for sending flight reports (currently FSAcars, but will be updating to our own inhouse system later this year), where do we need to place the XML code? 2. Hello Nabeel Since this morning we can't update any pirep to VACentral at Admin dashboard shows "You have 32 PIREPS waiting for export to vaCentral. Click here to send them" but when is clicked gives "FAILED exporting PIREP #795 - No response from API server" (all pireps same error) strange since I had no updates this weekend at our server (except latest phpvms) , I already checked Curl php and is working fine so far do you know if some other VA is having the same problem ?
