I have recently noticed through reviewing posts that it seems many issues have risen. It is sad to see the forums (virtual airline discussion in particular) turn into a mud pit of hatred. I feel like many comments are just driven because someone has an axe to grind. It especially offends me to see that when someone posts one news announcement it turn into a fighting match between others for something totally off topic. I am writing this today to urge all members to stop bashful comments. If you have a problem with someone please don't post it for the world to see. Some say they do it to expose the fraud but is it worth it, all it does is start huge backlash. Please, a…

Hey everyone! I was just curious if anybody ran just a virtual regional airline (American Eagle, Pinnacle, Colgan, Expressjet). If somebody did could you please post a link? I'd love to join. If not, I do have some phpVMS experience and would start one if anyone else would be interested in one. I was thinking American Eagle, or Expressjet (new merger with ASA would be fun). Let me know what you guys think! Mark

Hello all, I wanted to take a moment tonight to congratulate the members of Legend Air for collectively completing over 300 flights for over 500 hours! After a very slow start Legend Air has picked up in the new year and already has completed over 45 flights (our average was 22 flights per month). I am very proud of where Legend Air is heading, and I thank all of you for your support and help through the rough spots! Thank you for your time!

Hey everyone, I would like to invite everyone to join me when British Atlantic Virtual Airline Re-Launches July 1st. British Atlantic is a professional virtual airline operating from London Heathrow to a range of world wide destinations. We operate a mainly Airbus based fleet, however still operate some of our legacy Boeing fleet (which is due to be replaced soon). British Atlantic has been open since May 2009, however recently it was decided to completely overhaul the airline with a new website and better marketing to attract more members. Will publish more info soon as we get closer to launch. We are a proud Global One Member http://globalonealliance.com.

Tonight, April 08, 2012 marks a very big milestone for Legend Air. We have reached and surpassed the 500 flight/800 hour mark! Our pilots have been working very hard to get us to this point, and I am very proud of how the airline is coming along. We hope to pass the 1,000 hour mark here in the next couple of weeks and put a big dent in our mission for 1000 flights!

Alaska Airlines Virtual had began planning on February 10, 2012 and had began creating our website the following day. Here at Alaska Airlines Virtual we will never give anyone a check-ride or an exam to reach another rank in the airline. We feel that flight simulation is a hobby so there is no need for exams or tests. Our staff team is highly qualified and trained to be apart of the staff. All of the staff here have been running on simulators for atleast 2 years and some of us even more. We welcome everyone even if you just purchased the simulator to come and fly with us. We would love to have you fly with us and participate in Teamspeak and events. Why not sign up now? …

air septimanie - the friendly virtual airline is pleased to announce the integration of its web site with vaCentral - the premier resource for virtual airlines on the net. Thus, you can now choose to sent your pilot reports (PIREPs) to vaCentral and to follow your flight on their live map. Although there are still a few minor issues outstanding, I am working with Nabeel to fully integrate our custom web site with vaCentral. Based in the beautiful Languedoc region in the South of France with bases in Béziers, Frankfurt-Hahn, Paris-Orly, Lübeck and London-Stansted, air septimanie is a virtual airline for X-Plane and FlightGear flying a fleet of 11 Airbus A-320 and 5 Boe…

Fellow flight enthusiasts, If you have a moment, please take a look at www.flyvtwa.com We are a new VA and would welcome anyone serious about flying TWA. We don't offer any new skins or planes. What we do offer is the chance to fly actual TWA flights from their timetables, using the proper aircraft from each. We also offer a nice history base of TWA. Our VP/COO was a Maintenance Manager for TWA so we have a great knowledge of what was truly used and how they should be flown. We also have a custom made KaCars available to our members. FS_Products did a wonderful job on this. If you have an interest, please read our info so there will be no surprises if you decide to joi…

During the last days, our team develops a new forum platform for phpVMS. Of course the development of this module is not very easy as we want to make it as good as possible via offering your virtual airline the same functions with any other forum platform (smf, phpbb etc). Of course, as we would like to create some converters, we would like to know whick forum platforms are being used by virtual airlines (the most). If your forum platform is not included in the above list, please let us know via posting in this thread. Thank you for voting.

As with anyone who has used a flight sim for any length of time I want to start a VA. Well, I want to desin one, for personal use to begin with. Being in the process of moving house and starting a new job Im not sure how much free time I will have, but if I have the time I would like to launch it before the end of 2015. A resolution of sorts. Firgured I would run it past you guys, and you clearly know your stuff, and see what you think. The basic premise is a simple one, a regional airline based in Scotland. Prestwick to be exact. It will run island hopper flights to the hebridies(from Connel airport) and orkney/shetland (from wick) along with connecting flights to Pres…
