Midway Virtual Airlines is based on the real-world Midway Airlines. There were actually two Midway Airlines, both now defunct. The original Midway operated from 1976-1991 and was based out of Chicago Midway Airport. The second airline, based out of Raleigh-Durham Airport, was in operation from 1993-2003. Currently, Midway Virtual uses routes from the original Midway Airlines, although we use aircraft from both airlines. Routes vary from extreme short-hops to trans-continental and everything in between. Our ACARS application allows pilots to automatically record their flights and send a PIREP directly to our system. Hello, I have one virtual airlines American Airlines Virtual and working well. Now i am planning to open other one. But this virtual airlines will have forum, blog some extra things. I want this virtual airline to be helpful to the virtual pilots. For this i don't need finance help. I only need some friends to help me with opening routes and do some things in forum and blog. I am looking for someone experienced in phpVMS as I am only a virtual pilot willing to fly there. To me - after nearly 2000 hrs flying online - the Himalaya region is the most challenging and beautiful to fly. I think there is more people like me to for flying in DHC-6, Do-228 VFR. The VA would be imitating local airliners to have 16 destinations (VNKT,VNPK, VNLK....). Cheers

Today we received our order for 10 brand new Boeing 737 800 aircraft, all painted in our new livery! The aircraft are now available to download from the pilot centre and the aircraft will be used from with the new winter schedules when they come into operation in the next week.
