I will try and keep this as up to date with problems that come up all of the time. 1. This forum should be for VA owners to ask questions. If you are a member of a VA and are having a problem please contact your VA staff and ask them for your support first. If the VA staff can not answer the question then they should ask it here. 2. Custom kACARS questions should be asked to my email account. Since these are custom a lot of times a fix for one VA's custom version may not work for another VA's. 3. For the past few weeks I have been working with Nabeel to integrate phpVMS7 into kACARS. As of right now I will be able to integrate with phpVMS7. Once phpVMS7 is in a BETA stage I will release a kACARS Free version for testing. There is no point in releasing anything at this time since phpVMS7 is only in ALPHA and things are changing daily. I just wanted all to know that I am on top of it and which direction I am moving in.

Fatal error: Class 'CodonModule' not found in home2/ /public_html/flight/phpvms/core/modules/kACARS_Free/kACARS_Free.php on line 22 There has to be a fix for this but I simply cannot find it. I've mastered Java but that doesn't help me here despite the fact that PHP looks like a child of Java and C++.. Anyway, all help would be appreciated.

If you are having this issue with kacars then follow what i did I couldnt find any way to figure this issue out, but even before it would load it would give me an error saying that kacars could not load or assembly etc...etc... and i googled it...and saw something about fsuipcclient.dll and searched my computer and found it with all the other acars prog's that i have so i copied it into folder but...still didnt work... now i went into the c:program files /fs-products/ folder and copied the kacars.exe program and copied to my desktop (actually i have a folder where i put all my acars icons/programs etc) but you can put it where you used to have it and then i loaded kacar…

Hi, How to install kACARS phpVMS to make it work with? I have a problem, every time I enter my password and PilotID comes up "Connection Error", I wonder, should I put some files in server to make it work properly?, I looked for some guidance but I have not found anything (maybe because I have a fever: D), at least someone I can help out with the installation?, I need it urgently because I've put on hold the drivers for change system to phpVMS, exchange forum, website and dell'ACARS, and not I think in five days I can do everything without the help of someone you who installed it!, Thanks in advance!

Ciao to all, my problem is that the kACARS_Free correctly connect, load bid and send pirep to the VA site (Pirep filed) but nothing is registered in the MySql DB, except the date and time of the pirep submission in the pilot record. The Live Map show nothing... Thanks for support Gianni

Hello All, kACARS has been working fantastically up until the last few flights. Now when someone goes to file a pirep they are given a connection error. Interestingly the pirep still files on the main site but their bid is not removed from their bid list. All other parts of kACARS work correctly. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help

Hi, Our v.a. uses custom kACARS and one of our pilots is struggling with a fuel issue, in that 99% of his PIREPs show 0kg fuel usage, even though the log itself shows correct take-off and landing fuel quantities in lbs. Very occasionally he will have a PIREP with the correctly calculated value in kg, but I'm at a loss to figure out why most show 0kg. PIREPs from all other pilots are spot on with the fuel usage the majority of the time, although sometimes I will see a report with a negative value, but there is no indication of midair refuel etc. In all the above situations, I can manually work out the use by subtracting the landing fuel value from the take-off value, a…

Hi Lorathon, let me start out by saying thanks for the script. It is great! Several of us on my very little va site use KACARS error free. Works a treat. I got a guy that just got windows 7 and We solved one problem for him by making KACARS as administrator. Then it let him save the va profile but in the main controls when he attempts to login with his username and password, it simply says Connection Error in red letters. I then told him lets check the .net framework. Sure enough it was current and yet he still has the issue. I have went through hoops trying to get it to work and nothing yet. Any ideas of where I can have him go from here? I promise you I have read ever…

Recently, users have been contacting me about issues downloading the kacars program from my site. Not everyone has this issue though. The issue is caused that when they download from the site it converts the file to a .man file. I checked the backside and it has the item downloaded onto the server as a .msi....any idea why when they download the program it is switching the extension to a .man? Is there a way to fix this?

Hello, Some of our pilots, including myself (6 in total) have been getting the following error message: unhanded exception has occurred in application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue (just brings uo same message) if you click quit, the application will close immediately. (it shuts down but then on reload gives the same message box) I have tried re-installing ACARS, .NET Framework and FSUIPC with no luck, the others have tried it also. Cheers, Thomas.

Hello, We have been experiencing a problem with our new Custom kACARS system. When one of our pilots finish a flight they will still be on our live flight maps and such and just marked as arrived. The only that i know how to fix it is to go into phpmyadmin and delete the pilot that is marked as arrived in the database acars_data. The reason we can not use the script built into the admin center is because we usually have more than one flight in the air at a time, so we cant clear all the data. thanks, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Well, lets start off by saying that your kACARS is the best. It just works right out of the blocks. Thank you very much!! I was wondering about the possibility of the actual departure time being read from the sim and not from the system. Most of the flight we fly are normal daytime flights, but are flown in the evenings, or wee hours of the morning, but we set the departure time to a few minutes before the scheduled time to depart, this way we can monitor if the pilot did fly the flight at the correct times or not. Example of a flight that takes place at 15:00 UTC teh sim time was set for 14:50 UTC but the log shows as follows Again thanks for a brilliant products. …

I used a custom Kacars, and it works great. but I wondered if this was possible to code in? as the fleet get's used, and aircraft land at an airport, is it possible to only show, in the aircraft list in Acars, aircraft that are at the airport that the current bid is starting from? I ask, as I have pilots who just pick random aircraft, and fly them, aircraft which were not actually located where they started the flight Not sure if it is possible, but if it could, it would be great

This might not be the correct forum, but I am trying to find out where the aircraft in the PIREP is being reported from. Is it the aircraft in the schedule the pilot has bid on? The reason is we're trying to implement routes that can be flown by any aircraft and I don't want 27 number of aircraft types in our fleet) different flight schedules for each route. So I thought about adding a "default aircraft" to every route and then allowing the pilots to select the actual aircraft being flown from the dropdown menu in our customized kACARS.
