Following a successful build and launch of my new PHPVMS V7 Virtual Airline Virtualairhygge. (http://virtualairhygge.com) I would personally like to thank Nabeel for creating the software in the first place and to all those who have been busy sorting out the bugs and adding value to the base package. Many are trying phpvms7 but there is no ACAR that works perfect. Without that we can try little. smartAcars is not configured until phpvms7 is final kACARS does not work APVacars V2 does not work either. The version of phpvms7 has in its demo "http://demo.phpvms.net" a module in ADDONS called VMSAcarars that the versions of DOWNLOADS do not have. I don't want to say that the work done by everyone is bad. Unlike. I think the work is excellent. I guess I want to see the end. Forgive if I look anxious. Thank you all for your work.

Long time no chit chat gents. Hope all is well! My first post back here in quite some time. Life has threw me a curve ball and I am ready to jump back in finally. Just curious, is Paid ACARS (not nagging at all about that Nabeel deserves all he gets for his work) the only option thus far besides manual PIREPS? I hate to start a new Startup and pour cash into it to possibly fizzle out. I suppose that is where manual pireps come in handy but I have polled MANY virtual pilots over the years and most will not join a VA that accepts manual pireps. I am just tryin g to examine all possibilities and and what ifs and come up with a solid game plan before I just start …

A real booking system as Fsairlines has, where you can bid by aircraft type in a same schedule (for example In flight SKU103 I can bid with an A320 and a B767 and each other, including all registration of these aircraft if the aircraft Was in the same position that I'm... If the aircraft wasn't in the same Location as me I can't bid a flight with that aircraft). And the pilot can use the jumpseat ticket. And the last one a option to translate an aircraft to other location (Admin) and the translate could duration as a real flight.

With the older Phpvms software it is rather easy for a hacker to bypass the normal registration checks and backend register with the VA but submitting the registration form directly. I've had to resort to brute force banning from the .htaccess file. For Phpvms 7 will there be better security with registration? Particularly I would request ip address logging and multiple methods to ban like you would with a forum. It would be nice as on option, to be able to check ip addresses with a know blacklist site to prevent users from registering from known bad email or ip addresses. Hi There, At this time you can set the rank a pilot has to be to fly an aircraft type. I would like to see his also added to the flight (Route). Some flights say YSSY Sydney Australia to KLAX LA could then be limited to a min rank. This could all so be used for dangerous airport routes. Thank you David Oz Flyer

Add schedule with more than 1 aircraft type for the same flight and then the pilot can choose if he want to book the flight with i.e A320 ir A319 and display all registration of the aircraft avaible in the location airport. make a booking system where the aircraft and pilot stay in last position and he can book only if the pilot is in the same place with the aircraft (fs airlines system)

I currently have a heavily modified phpvms 2.6 deployment running our VA site. It's been absolutely fine over the years and runs with kacars v1 but I'm wanting to start use kacars v2. Clearly v2 won't run on our phpvms version and because most of the core is heavily modified, upgrading the phpvms version in situ is not possible, so I'll be developing from scratch to replace what we have once I'm ready. I've got v7.0 running on a Xampp dev environment on my local machine and I've run the installer and have the example info pulling in from the local mysql db correctly, so far so good. However, I've imported all the tables from my existing site to the dev DB but none of the …

Hallo, as I can see, you are using laravel, composer, artisan as a framework for the new phpvms. It is also possible to install and use the phpvms system on shared hosting product. I assume the most VAs are using shared hosting because of the more affordable price and with this product you will not get a ssh access to the server. It is possible to install all necessary php frameworks without ssh login? Florian

Firstly, great to see this integrated in the core product for phpVMS7 - couple of queries however... I've installed this to test out for a future launch of a new VA so to test I have a single route with a single sub-fleet which is assigned to that route. However on the Simbrief form, the aircraft type still needs to be selected. Would it be possible to have that default to the appropriate sub-fleet type (or first sub-fleet type if multiple assigned to a route)? Additionally, rather than editing the simbrief_form.blade.php template to change the default unit of weight, can this be called from the config setting so that future overwrites during u…

This is one of the major 'headaches' if you want to use the financials of PHPVMS as there are so many factors in the real world that affect ticket prices . In the Virtual airline world I think we try to keep things as simple as possible unless you really want to copy a real world airline 100%. So how do you work out your fares for the flights in your schedule to be a 'reasonable amount'. I know that Nabeel is busy and does most of the work for phpvms7 on github, so I leave this as a suggestion from my VA. If someone else wants to put their suggestions it can be a good post. How are suggestions can be included or not, and may be soon or not. 1. fleet->new aircraft-> (complete all data)-> save (there is no button to go back and add other aircraft) P.S: Doing clicking twice in save return to aircraft menu. 2. Add a option to edit pilot ID ex: 3. Option (checkbox) to make a return/reverse flight when you create a flight. So you can create a flight and their reverse route without complete all fields again.

guys what on earth is with the v7 login screen with the SVG files I never even heard of SVG in all my years of coding websites and images took one look at them in an online SVG editor and Viewer didn't touch anything btw I got lost I was like omg what is this its like this safe I couldn't crack give myself a sore head 🤕🤕🤕🤕

Hi all, We have just started an airline and went with pounds and dollars to begin with because it made everything straightforward. We're considering switching to kilograms and euros though - and wondered if anybody else has switched - and what was involved. I'm guessing we would need to take the airline offline while doing it, and run some queries to convert all of the weights, rates, etc across all of the affected tables. As I said - wondering if anybody else has already done it in the past.

The title of this question at first glance might seem a little odd, but let me explain In PHPVMS V7 there is a large scale and very useful integration with SIMBRIEF and as such the Route for a flight is often passed for example to the Acars from the simbrief OFP. Likewise when you look at the briefing for your flight level for FMC MCDU input it is there in the detail of each flight leg. I am getting ready to take my phpVMS website live to replace my older VAM powered one. Question is, is there a way for me to enter my pilots transferred hours so they show as flight time and not transferred hours? Like manually editing the total in the database? Or possibly filing a manual PIREP with all the transferred hours? I'm just looking for a way for them to show up in a pilots hours, and not have it be listed under transferred hours. I have noticed that if you restrict pilots to aircraft by rank and by type rating, aircraft subfleet without a type rating assigned won't show up. So can you only use one of these options unless you assign type rates to every aircraft? Then you would have to assign every pilot type ratings for every aircraft. Type ratings in the US are only necessary for aircraft over 12500 if I remember correctly. Thanks for any advice.

Hi all, I try to do my first database backup today, before this rely on hosting automatic backup, but maybe unreliable and take long time when ask them to restore. However phpmyadmin backup function failed, and support advise to use SSH. The final sql file is over 14GB and nearly took down server. Reason give is cpanel resources exhausted. Is this normal size or every time I do back up the site is is error 503 for almost everyone?
