This looks like a bug. When a new pilot joins they cant see the dash or flights unless they are assigned the admin role.

Hi there! I have gotten phpVMS 7 set up and was trying to get the automailer to work however I can't get it to work, I have tried MailGun and Sparkpost but all result in the following error "Expected response code 220 but got an empty response" and "Swift_Transport_AbstractSmtpTransport::assertResponseCode:445 vendor/swiftmailer/swiftmailer/lib/classes/Swift/Transport/AbstractSmtpTransport.php:445" I can't find the .env file either?

Guys, I tried to install the latest beta version on a fresh new domain @ hostgator. It took them almost 2 hours to get the subdomain working but now I get the following error which seems to be version of php related? Symfony\Component\Debug\Exception\FatalErrorException Declaration of Symfony\Component\Translation\TranslatorInterface::setLocale($locale) must be compatible with Symfony\Contracts\Translation\LocaleAwareInterface::setLocale(string $locale) I am not a php guy so I am stuck. I see the version in my control panel is 7.3.6 Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hello everyone My CSV Fleet file doesn't download and I do not know why, as the other ones works great. Initially I was thinking about the size of it, right now has almost 7k lines. When I press Export to CSV the sytem start working but soon after I've got a completely white browser page, only visible the url like this https://www.mysite/admin/flights/export Any tip on how can I solve this or an alternative to do it because for a 13k flights introducing one by one its a huge task, I'm using for CSV files a free program called CSV Buddy. Appreciate any suggestion or solution Thank You

So on install all is fine and dashboard works. I run the importer and import phpVMS 5.5.2 data and then the dashboard displays error 500. Hi guys. I think I accidentally removed a critical database user account. It was during a cleanup process where old/unused databases and users were removed. My screw up was not doing a backup before starting on this, even though I'm quite sure all the dbs/users were not being used. I was probably wrong on this. G'day I'm looking to create an award that is automatically applied to set amounts of pilot money earned for example when looking at my pilot dashboard "Your Balance" and I reach $2000 the system gives an award in the same way you can have awards provided for a number of flights. Editing a copy of the PilotHoursAward.php, it seems to me I need the code that looks at "Your Balance" value. I did build a new site based on PHPVMS 7.0 And I cannot login to the admin account after the first install. I constantly says that the password is wrong. Yet I cannot reset the Password either as I was not able to confige the mail settings. Seems like a catch 22. Some help would be appreciated. RobB VLMVA.com

New User here. If you are just getting into phpvms 7, as I am, the METAR and TAF don't work because aviationweather.gov replaced the API. I deleted the code fix as it has already been fixed in later versions and I should not have posted code here, instead made a bug report. Newguy still learning. Thanks, -Nacman

I have created a copy of the default layout, and I ask myself if it is possible to add news and read out a specific page(s) so that I can edit them via the admin module instead of constantly changing the home.blade.php? I managed to put the latest news items there via {{ Widget::latestNews(['count' => 3]) }} But I wonder how to read out a page. Thanks ahead. RobB

Hi everybody! There are multiple errors in the last released version of phpVMS. 1. When accessing to the Pilots profiles from the dashboard, the system redirects to the same Homepage. 2. After creating a personalized Role, users are able to see the "Role section" meaning they can change itself those permissions. 3. After creating and giving permissions to a user by assigning a Role, the "Admin" option is not been shown in the menu, they manually need to access the interface. 4. I've uploaded a copy of v7 (obtained from here) onto my server to tinker and test with. No issues with setting up the database although I noticed everything was in Times New Roman. Good morning. I am running the latest version of phpvms on a linux server. I have added 1 aircraft to a subfleet and filled all the information. At the bottom, it says that I need to "Add a download link or upload a file to make available" I fly the fslabs A320 on P3D if that helps. Other than that, I have no idea what this means. Hello, I'm trying to upgrade my VA to phpVMS 7's beta... I'm having an issue after dragging the files into my subdomain and whenever I open it it gives me HTTP ERROR 500. I looked at a form and it said to remove .htaccess from the directory and no luck with that. From there I wasn't able to fix it. I'm willing to give any info that helps

OK, first thing is I can't seem to access the demo site to try to reproduce the issue there. My site runs php ver 7.3.28. Not sure what version of mySQL, and not sure how to find out. I use a paid hosting service (Siteground). My phpvms version is 7.0.0-dev+210521.d3ec0f. When I attempt to add a flight I get 2 part error. The first states "APP_DEBUG is set to true while APP_ENV is not local". This is in red. With reference to this solved thread to which appears to be locked to new replies... I'm trying to do something very similar. Creating a new blank page, on which to duplicate the live flight list and map, which can then be embedded on my main website. The issue is at the following step: This "Routes" folder no longer exists. There is also no "web.php" file to be found anywhere. I am on version 7.0.0 beta 3.
