Hello All, I am new to skinning and really have no idea on what i am doing. I would like to add a banner that changes every 5 secs. how would i do that? Also I would like to add pages so i can add aircraft downloads and what not. I don't know coding or anything so any help would be good. Thank You PS: my site is here: Northeast Airlines

Hi all, I have searched this forum but have found nothing. I would like to disable the airline selection on the registration form so that pilots can;t select which airline to apply for, and have it default to one. I know I will need to mod the registration_mainform.tpl and registration.php, but I am not sure hat to change. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks, Cory

Can someone tell me why I do NOT have a white band of space below my banner pic here: http://www.canadianclassicairlines.com/CPC/ But every other page link does(such as http://www.canadianclassicairlines.com/CPC/index.php/Whatis )?! I assume it is in the header.tpl or frontpage_main.tpl, but everything is tied to the same .css file?!?

When a module is requested and it does not exist, it puts up a error page. I edited one page but it did nothing. Maybe it was the wrong one. Can anyone tell me what tpl file that is? I tried core_error.tpl but that did not do anything.

I am having some problems with images showing up in my skin. All of the images that phpvms uses/displays all show up fine. But, images related to the skin, such as the header image and html link images I have been trying to put in, do not. In Firefox they simply don't show up. Where the html image links should be, all that shows up is a little box. In IE it shows the little box in the upper left corner with the red x. Hi all, I really need your help. I am setting up a virtual airline and need a custom skin. I have tried making it myself but I am getting really confused. I have a budget of near £0 so instead of asking someone to design one for free. (unless someone is willing) I am wondering if anyone will help me create my own skin. I don't want anything fancy just something simple yet personalised.

Hi there, I have to say that I have very much enjoyed working with your software so far, and am very happy with the results I am getting using it. One thing I would like to be able to do though, is to add drop down menus to the main nav bar, as I am hoping to expand on the site quite alot. Hi everyone, I'm using the default crystal template (i've copied it into another folder to edit), and I was just wondering whether it would be possible to get the menu/nav bar to go along the left side of the page, rather than up the top? Has anyone been able to achieve this? (I appologise if i missed a thread, but i did a search and i couldn't find anything). If you have been able to achieve it, can you please share your wisdom? I am currently skinning my phpVMS. On the sidebar instead of having the latest pilot and flights just on the home page, I want them on every page so I have put them in the sidebar however when I put this code in: <h2>Our Latest Recruit</h2> <p> <?php MainController::Run('Pilots', 'RecentFrontPage', 1); </p> and on the page it says The "</p>" is on line 36. I might be just not thinking right, because its 01:08 in the morning here lol however I am pretty sure it should work. If you could help then it'd be great. In my flights schedules page, the Options list and my main flight ID are white, the same colour of the background so I can't see anything unless I put my cursor on it. Is there a way I can change this specific text colour. I am using the Lance Free Skin. Thanks

When uploading a copy of phpVMS to a sub domain on my site for testing I noticed that the default crystal skin worked and my skins did not without changing the path to the skin, but the crystal skin has the layout.php instead of layout.tpl . Can someone explain exactly what this does? Thanks!
