Has anyone ever made a marquee for phpVMS that automatically pulls data from the database? Say for example, I hit my mark and gain a new rank. It would add it to todays marquee and say Congrats TAV0001 for recent promotion to Captain..............Happy 45th Birthday Oscar the Grouch........Congrats TAV0001 on your 1 year anniversay I used to belong to a va ( Livewire Airlines) that actually has something like that. I enquired about it once and they told me in simple words that it runs a cron or something of the such and querys the database for new updated info that is preset and inserts it when necessary. Hello All, When somebody flying a circuit the acarsmap will not show the flights. I think it has something to do with the fact that the distance is 0 and the remaining time is 0. But I don´t have a clue where to change that. Does more people have those problems and better does somebody has a solution for this little problem. Regards, Cor

PT-BR Prezados, Olá, Bom, procurei e nao achei nada. Queria saber se existe um codigo em que, o proprio sistema faz uma analise do pirep e autorize o aceite dele ou nao. Ex. hi ! I wanna add a "online flights" stat to my airline stats section. I made a custom pirep field dropdown "flew online" with the option "yes or no".. Is it possible to have a code that if "yes" was selected it would add to a online flight total displayed on the front of my page ? thanks !

Would it be possible for anyone to create a Module to better administrate the Finances of Vairlines more realistically. I was wondering if someone would be up for making an Admin module that will allow you to: Manually set expenses and revenue streams for each flight you have in your schedules. So for example. I can make several Expenses such as Duty free, Food and drink and Landing Fee in the module. Then I can select the flights that the expense apply to, because lets face it you aren't going to sell food and drink on a 45nm island hop, especially when the aircraft flying is a 9 seater. I've always wanted pilots to have the option of choosing whether they want to book their flights or be assigned to them. Could this work? So, for example, the pilot would select their preferences (days of week, max. distance etc...), and then the system would automatically generate flights to be flown. Get it?

Hi i was wondering if anyone out there would be able to create a script so that i can set the landing rate limit to say -500fpm and if the landing rate is higher than this it deducts the pilot pay as maintainance charge or fine look forward to your ideas regards Craig

Hi, I've seen similar topics to this on the forum, but nothing exactly like this one. Is there a way to have ranking changes be completely manual, and you receive an alert whenever someone reaches an hours requirement for their next ranking? My reasoning: I have the Exam Center module integrated in my website. As a sample, to get to the PIC CAT I rank, I'd like for a pilot to first reach 50 hours, then take an exam, and upon passing, get a promotion. I'm not very good with php code, so any bits of code to get this working would be awesome! Thanks for all of your help

Hello captains' could be included in the exam center time for each question? Example: The pilot asks his take on the central of the pilot, when you open the pilot test would be required to have 10 to 15 minutes to perform this examination. PLEASE HELP ME!!

Is their a code to use that will make your website work with all web browsers. IE,Google Chrome, and Fire Fox. If u look at my site using IE and Chrome it looks wierd, but if use Fox it looks the right way.

As some of you have seen in my post in the va section, I have a codeshare module. It at the time did not have an admin side thus I had to add all the codeshares in manually. I have now since created a module, using Simpilots events as a base but edited to add in new codeshare routes. The adding of the codeshares works a dream, it adds the new route into the codeshare table and all. But the main view where you should see the ones currently in the db do not show. And I cant for the life of me work out why. I have switched the way the if else statement looks at it and it just gives me an error, saying an invalid argument supplied for foreach. <?php $this->show('code…

Hello! I am interested in giving my flight board a new style. I am not ready to move outside of the provided ACARS map and flight board, I would basically like to reskin it. Hello guys, I put it aside for a while my other projects posted here, I am now completing two software that I have not named them. Sorry is this is posted OT. I purchased Crazy Creatives Download Center and installed it per instructions. I had to modify it for compatibility with phpVMS 5.5.x and php 5.5.45, most static functions. However, whenever I try to upload a file through admin I get the following errors: I sent a note to Crazy Creatives, however they stated earlier they were busy right now. Anyone find a solution to this error? Thank you, -Ken

My name is Jacob and I have been working on an addon for Nabeel's wonderful system for the past few weeks and I decided to go ahead and make an announcement towards its expected completion date. Hi all, I'm trying to figure out how I can go about editing the stock standard phpVMS flight board that appears under the acars map and creating a table with different shaded rows much like the image I've attached. Basically I want to edit the original flight board to look just like the digital flight boards you see on the screens at the airport. So does anyone know how I might go about creating such a thing or if there is already a code out there for it? I'm stumped as to how to do it and I'm not particularly wanting to fork out a bazillion dollars just for a page of code. Thanks
