Sorry for again posting but i didnt get any reply on my previous post........ Now i have searched the forums before posting it here i just wanted to know that when we change the pilot Pilot Status from Admin Center to inactive do it send an auto generated email to pilots or we have to setup anything for this function i have also seen other status functions Like Suspended,Inactive,Blocked so for these options also i wanted to set an auto email to be sent to pilots when i change their status. Hello all! Today I re-installed my localhost and the php version I m running is now 6.0.0-dev. When trying to access my phpvms localhost site an error comes up saying: "You are not running PHP 5+" But I m running 6. Is there a problem or a problem with 6.0.0-dev version ? Regards.

I have been trying to add a custom pirep field from the admin side. I can create the field with a text area. The field is called Tracker URL with a blank text area to insert a url. I already have one custom field called "unscheduled flight" which is a simple drop down box with yes,no. Once i have added the second "tracker URL" field all looks fine in the admin side, however when i go to the user side and try to file a pirep. I get ONE custom field which is a mix of my two fields ie a field name of "Unscheduled flight" and a text area. I am on .930 I have tried searching on custom pirep fields but have not found anything similar to this yet? Alex

if you look here: http://flyirelandva....index.php/acars you can see that the map is too wide. How do i make it smaller? Also it never knows what the distance or the status is. It always has enroute and distance to remain: 0.00nm ?? I use XACARS. Thanks for the support! James

Hi i was wondering from some time... how can i change the zoom level of the live map have tried editing the local.config.php line 70 but regardless of the number i put the zoom level always stays the same on the site... i can change the center position of the map but so far i couldn't change the zoom

Hello, We are creating a new virtual airline with phpVMS. The problem is that we have realized that when we create a route, it is mandatory to assign a plane (registration). We were wondering if there was an alternative scheduling system where possible to choose between different aircrafts available at the current location to perform that flight. Has anyone modified the way Airports are selected. Instead of having to scroll down thru a long list, entry by using the IACO code. Similar to what FlightAware has. For example only entering KLAX or EDDFF. There are over 2500 Airports worldwide that have commercial traffic. It is a real pain having to scroll down thru a list.

Quick question... Not exactly phpVMS related in itself, but.... Someone has copied my site. They have taken the source from each and every page, changed the wording (in some cases, word) and my images are shown, as well as the website being identical apart from having different member names, pireps etc. It actually looks, to me, like they have downloaded the whole directory from /home upwards and uploaded it onto their server. Now, correct me if i'm wrong, but this is an absolute disgrace, i've spent hours, probably hundreds of hours making, designing, editing, coding, you name it, with it, and i refuse to let some thieving scum take advantage of it. ...which leaves m…

Hi there, I was looking for any links to NOTAM pages or charts, because the old ones in Flight Briefing are outdated and don't work anymore. I tried capturing links from the FAA, but it seems they don't want you to capture their NOTAMs anymore.

I noticed there is a contact form template, but how can I use it? I have been editing the main template, and can't seem to include it (Although I guess I could just copy it all into a PHP File and include('contact_form.php') but it seems like there would be an easier way if you included it. Or I guess I could code my own, I know enough php for that. And the template posts the data to index.php, is this correct? Does index handle the form data or is that just being a placeholder for me to put my own page to handle it.

Hey guys. I got a guy to do a little temporary site for me while simpilot was skinning my real site. The guy set up vms so that it logs in with pilot id instead of email address and he told me to contact him before I update so he could do something another. simpilot finished my skin and gave it to me to upload but before I uploaded it I figured why not update. I updated then uploaded the skin but now the login wont worth. Niether pilot id nor email address. simpilot seems to be a bit busy and I cant get in touch with the other guy so could someone help me fix this?

Hi there, I was wondering if there is a way to add a random flight generator to your va? I know it sounds silly, but whenever someone bids on a flight, you have to re-make it. If anything, is there a way to make the schedule static so when someone bids, it won't go away? Or even better, take the bidding out all togther? Thanks for your time.

I am running 744. Some of my charters are still not showing up. I have tried deactivating and reactivating, didn't work. And I checked the day of the week also. This is really messing up my operation as many of my charters are tied together. Would some of you other VA's have a look and see if your schedules are doing this?
